Excellent barber shop. Three generations of barbers keeping the tradition of old school straightedge and taking care of customers. Clean shop and talented people.

My boyfriend is participating in movember and wanted to start it out right with a straight edge shave. The Barber Shop is family owned and operated and the service is top-​notch. Staci was excellent. Highly recommend!

I grew up on the central coast and have tried some of the other local establishments and this is by far the best place to go.
Very clean, fun/​friendly service, exceptional haircuts and a great shave too! Definitely my go to spot for an excellent barber shop experience.

Three generations of 5 star barbers. Milo, Staci and Chance are the family who run the shop, and it feels good to be able to sit in any of their chairs! Ever since I moved to this town I have consistently came here. If my employees are looking grungy, I’ll send the, there because I know they will do it right. As long as I live on e central coast, this will be my barbershop.

We’ve never been able to get though a haircut for our special needs son in eight years. When a family friend recommended The Barber Shop, we were skeptical. He is very resistant to haircuts and does not conduct himself well in public.
Staci noticed right away, without us even having to say a thing, that my son needed extra TLC. She literally made friends with him before eventually cutting his hair, and doing a beautiful job at that. You could tell she cared about his feelings and ours. If you have special needs children you know how valuable this is!
I meant to write a review that day but, as usual, life got distracting. However, our boy just asked when he gets to have Staci cut his hair again! He remembered her name and I just can’t believe my son now wants to get his hair cut!
Thank you Staci and the barbers at The Barber Shop! It’s a real pleasure to know there are some true professionals left in the world. I wish we could afford a billboard to let the world know how grateful we are.

Best beard trim ever! Chance and Staci really know what they are doing. Super quick too, I went in on my lunch break and still had time when they were done. The warm shaving cream with the neck shave is awesome. You will leave feeling like a new person.

Mike gave me a great haircut and isn’t a bad conversationalist either while I was getting all cleaned up. The shop has an interesting sports décor theme. I don’t remember exactly how much I paid, but it was fairly reasonable. I’d visit these guys again!

In my book, a barber shop can’t earn five stars unless it is «old school» enough to offer a classic straight razor shave. Milo’s joint is exquisitely «old school».
Milo, a 50+ veteran of cutting hair, is indeed what his business card says…“master barber”. It was a joy to be in his chair this morning.
Forget the salons, go see Milo… TODAY. Can’t recall ever getting a better haircut ever and as for the straight shave… a pure, simple pleasure not to be missed.

Possibly the best barbers in the entire state. Very professional. They know their business. I’d highly recommend this shop.

This is the second time I have come to this barber shop. I researched places that do authentic hot shaves in the area and this offers them! I was nervous on my first visit and Milo did a great job. He definitely made an art out of it!
It was so good that I decided to come back and his daughter Staci was there to do the hot shave. I got in the chair and had a great experience with a friendly chat and one of the closest shaves I have ever had. It’s definitely full service with the conditioner, aftershave, powder, etc.
The price is great too! I hope I can somehow repay them with getting you Unilocal-​ers to get a hair cut or hot shave at this location.
I will definitely go again and I’m bringing my groomsmen on the day of my wedding to all get a hot shave.

The Barber Shop is the best barber I have ever been to. Milo and his daughter Staci are not only excellent barbers but their customer service and friendliness are the best.

Hands down, this is the best barber shop on the central coast.

I live in San Francisco now, where finding a really good barber is hard, and you’ll never pay less than $ 25. At The Barber Shop, though, it’s a given I’m going to get a cut I love for under $ 20 — including tip!
Milo has been cutting my hair for over 10 years, and I never drive through Atascadero without stopping for a haircut.
