We provide an unbiased, professional evaluation of the six major systems of your home: structure, roof, heating & cooling, electrical, plumbing and fireplaces & chimneys. We have a general contractor’s license, as well as electrical and concrete licenses. We have special certification in manufactured housing. Keith is also the only home inspector in the county who is a certified fireplace and chimney inspector. We are certified roof tile installers and mold inspectors — a one-​stop shop that gives you more for your money! We educate as well as investigate. We include pictures in your report and offer the ability to print on the spot, along with a digital copy emailed to you. We have two inspectors in our office, which enables us to evaluate large projects (both residential and commercial) in far less time than with one inspector. It also gives us the flexibility to schedule your inspection when you can be there, which we think is important! Call any time!

History

Established in 1996.

We were born into construction families (in the 60’s)! Having the practical experience and the vast knowledge of the building industry was the perfect background for starting this business. Keith spent time as a captain of a local fire department, training officer and EMT instructor which is why he claimed the motto: We educate as well as investigate! We leave no stone unturned. He is a Past President of the SLO Chapter of the California Real Estate Inspection Association (CREIA, the only State of California recognized professional organization of home inspectors) and a Master Inspector.

Business Owner

Keith has been in the construction field most of his adult life (in fact, beginning as a young boy). He is naturally drawn to educating people and is constantly obtaining continuing education himself, in any field remotely linked to the building industry. He is married and is the proud father of 5 adult children and 4 grandchildren with a 5^th on the way. He is a happy, positive man with a can-​do attitude and is always striving to provide the best professionalism and customer service. He always welcomes questions!
