History

Established in 2011.

Filmbox Studio™, founded by Stephen F. Dummit and family, began as a locally owned and operated photo booth rental business on the Central Coast of California. Stephen brings years of professional photography experience as a graduate of the Art Center College of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. The company was created with one simple question, «How can we let everyone share the fun and excitement of photography?» Our goal is to make your event the most memorable, adding an element of entertainment and excitement by capturing your favorite candid moments.

Business Owner

Stephen F. Dummit, born in San Luis Obispo in 1984. Graduated from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, ca in 2006. Stephen has worked for various music/​sport magazines including a spread in MH+L magazine featuring Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas. Stephen has traveled with his photography to Germany, Norway, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Puerto Rico, and more than half of the 50 states. Bringing his world of photography experience back home to San Luis Obispo county, he began his newest photography adventure in 2011 with Filmbox Studio™!
