My name is Cady Connelly, and I am a photographer on the beautiful Central Coast of California. I have always had a passion for photography, and I have been very fortunate to gain some amazing experience pursuing my dream. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Photography from the Brooks Institute of Photography in 2008.

Hi! My name is Cady Connelly, and I am a photographer on the beautiful Central Coast of California. I have always had a passion for photography, and I have been very fortunate to gain some amazing experience pursuing my dream. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Photography from the Brooks Institute of Photography in 2008. In addition to my schooling, I interned with Mark Leibowitz Photography where I got the opportunity to assist on several high-​end shoots including a photo shoot for Glamour Magazine. The summer after I graduated I spent working for Jose Villa, one of the premier wedding photographers in the world. After my internship with Jose ended I moved back to the Central Coast to be with my, now, husband Russ. I have continued to shoot for myself and other local photographers including Allyson Magda Photography here on the Central Coast, and I spent the last few years shooting weddings throughout California.

Cady did an amazing job. She was so easy to work with and she got amazing shots. Our wedding was at Ragged Point and she captured it beautifully! Our album arrived yesterday and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. I would not hesitate to recommend Cady!

I have not seen ths final picturew yet so my initial review is based on the experience. We had our wedding at ragged point just south of Big Sur. It is a gorgeous location but tricky to photograph because the morning could be foggy, afternoon sunny and vice versa. One of the things I noticed was that we never felt like we were on the clock. she and her assistant gave us as much time as we needed. in addition Cady let us do the whole wedding thing but recognize when there was a good photo opportunity. Her assistant was taking more of the candid pictures but it was never intrusive. They did a great job.

I met Cady through a mutual mom friend a few years ago and didn’t even know she was a professional photographer until she sent us pics from our playdate that looked like movie stills. I have hired many photographers through my work over the years and she has been one of the easiest to work with, extremely talented and very reasonably priced. Her style is very natural and timeless without being overly manipulated looking.
I hired her most recently to photograph my daughter’s 1st birthday party and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Cady is very professional and incredibly friendly so it was comfortable having her there with my family and friends. She has a great eye for capturing all the details and those unexpected, candid moments. The quality of her work noticeably truly exceeds most other lifestyle photographers I’ve seen. I’ve recommended her to all my mom friends, but I know she also does really nice wedding work too. Looking forward to our next family shoot this week!
