We called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in Atascadero when we had a problem with our tub/​shower and our experience with this company was WONDERFUL! They came out very quickly. Our children were napping and they were respectful of that and worked and spoke quietly. They were VERY pleasant and understanding on the phone as well as in person. We will definitely call them if a problem arises in the future.

If it could be a 0 star, I would make it that way. Just needed pressure valve replaced on water heater, according to a lot of people, would be simple for most to do. But, because of time, decided to call Benjamin Franklin’s. When asked what it might cost to replace, was told they had to assess but that would be only a $ 39 charge. This is a $ 20 part. Plumber arrived and tried to upsell me on several different regulators he said we needed but I said no. So he said it would take a few minutes to write it up and came back with three different estimates, the cheapest being $ 368 and most being more than $ 750. The labor to replace to the water heater was just $ 800 three years ago. It was less than a 30-​minute job and cost $ 368. Will never use this company again — what a huge ripoff.

Tyler was on time, personable, and professional. One could tell that he really enjoys his profession and takes great pride in his work. He is an asset to this company.

«If there’s any delay it’s you we pay» I think you need a new motto.
Paid a deposit and service fee of $ 138 on a $ 956 estimate to replace two faucets. After 6 weeks, they were still unable to obtain a Delta faucet (I found it on Amazon easily). I cancelled the job. Never a call back or apology or attempt to problem solve this issue from management or a plumber. Contacting the corporate office simply send the complaint back to the local office.
I then hired Cochrane Family Plumbing who recommended repairing not replacing one of the faucets, replaced the second faucet and in addition fixed a loose kitchen sink fixture for a total of $ 259 (a savings of $ 697!) In all I lost $ 39 on a nonrefundable «service fee» and 6 weeks of frustration but maybe others can benefit from my experience.

Kelly was great! Timely, efficient, pleasant and professional too! Went above and beyond to get us our hot water heater replaced so quickly with no extra charge on a Saturday afternoon. Thanks!

I had Johnny and Sean out to my house to fix my tub yesterday and I am very happy. They were able to come earlier than expected (after a phone call to make sure that was ok). The job was a little more extensive then originally thought but still got everything done in a timely manner. Both plumbers were very polite and professional and left my bathroom neat when finished. Will definitely be calling them again with any plumbing problems I may have. Great job!

Great service from the Atascadero office… ask for Kelly… professional and courteous and really knows what he’s doing… highly recommend Ben Franklin plumbing.

Not too sure about the plumbing, but just witnessed the owner or an employee take almost all of leftovers from a rummage sale. Seriously filled the back of a truck, GREEDY probably reflects on their prices too. With all the people out there struggling maybe they could have left things they didn’t need behind. Thanks for taking all the baby clothes and crib mattress myself and others could have really used that. OH and thanks for parking in such a manner it was blocking traffic.

Unprofessional in a number of ways, extremely poor communication, and overall I have to say, absolutely appalling. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a service-​based company.

Kelly has been extremely helpful and an incredible plumber! He fixed our tub handle mechanism, routed our emergency water overflow piping, gave me a great tip on how to best use our water heating system and got our water pressure sorted! A great guy, very friendly and engaging. Like using a trusted family friend!

Johnny was fantastic! I have had Ben Franklin Plumbing do work on my house 3 times. They are fair with their pricing, extremely knowledgable, professional and on time. I will definitely use them again and recommend them highly.
