I cannot say enough good things about Armet’s Landscaping. Brian responded immediately to my online request for a free estimate, arranging a time the next day that was convenient to me. He listened carefully to my wishes: minimizing carbon footprint by reusing rock and dirt excavated during patio and planting; using drought-​tolerant native plants that attracted butterflies and birds, and were pet-​friendly; making sure El Nino rain was appropriately diverted. He made good suggestions for patio pavers, and stone for the dry-​river bed, and was super-​patient and helpful as I searched for plants that were safe for my cats and my sister’s dogs (who live next door). Not only did he stick to his very fair estimate, he even included (for the same price) several additional 5-​gallon plants I added during the plant selection phase. His work crew showed up on time and worked non-​stop from first light to the end of the day. They were extremely careful to minimize dirt outside of the yard, and did a spotless clean-​up at the end of the work. My sister and I bought adjacent homes in a new tract built on rock and clay – I joked I’d moved to Mars to live near her. Now that Brian and his crew are finished (less than three weeks for two yards over a half acre, including planting, irrigation, paver patio, view fencing – and rain days), our yards now look like a park. Brian has been great. He is responsive, provides timely competitive bids and completes the work as promised, w/​in budget and on time. He was also very helpful in terms of addressing my concerns re: water run-​off issues. He created an attractive rock design in our front yard as well.

Do not use this company they will rip you off and never come back to fix there mistakes.

Fantastic service and excellent results! We wanted our lawn in the front and back of our house removed and replaced with some artificial turf, drought and deer resistant plants. I had spoken to three different contractors about who to use, as a lot of landscaping companies don’t install (plant?) artificial turf and three contractor’s said to call Brian Armet.
Brian Armet was working with us from start to finish. Everything was done professionally and with care. All the lawn was torn out and replaced with some artificial turf (which looks awesome!), gravel and landscaped with drought tolerant and (somewhat) deer proof plants. We love our new front and back yard and would HIGHLY recommend Armet’s to anyone! Thanks Brian!!!

This company is as good as it gets. Very helpful and knowledgeable. They constructed beautiful cement walls and a lovely paver patio. No complaints here. Their selection of plants were great since I am new to the area and weren’t familiar with the plants in this area. I would truly recommend this company.

I have know Rick Armet since he was a student in high school. He was my gardener at that time. Over the years, I have owned and landscaped several properties. My experiences with him have always been good until now. I recently bought a new home in Paso Robles and called Rick again. Bottom line: amateurish! A do it yourself gardener would have done a better job. The pavers were uneven and covered with sand that constantly «oozed» for weeks. After weeks of complaining, I finally hired someone else to fix them. When they came to install the patio cover, the concrete pad for the post to attach to was not there. For weeks the patio cover had to be held up with braces. Finally, the lawn: abysmal!!! The worst job ever! 2 different sods were used, it was (and still is) very uneven. The ground beneath is hard (little soil amendments used). Here’s the kicker: he charged me full price, no discount for the foul ups. If you want a top quality job, find someone else. If you want your dirt covered up fast, then this is your guy. He comes in with a big crew, they work fast and don’t do a very good job. Rick will come by once during the process (to get his check). He used to have a foreman, but not this time. Very poor job.
