A long-time family friend of ours recommended A&M Roofing to us. We called up and spoke to Mike who came out and gave us a no-nonsense appraisal of the current condition of our roof. Thankfully, it still has another five or so years worth of life left in it, per Mike’s inspection. It is always welcome to know a contractor will advise you in detail as to what to look for in the shingles truly being at the point of repair, versus just looking worn. He was also kind enough to give me a spare tube of caulking and a few extra screws to tap down on the loose metal flashing near the vents and chimney. Last but not least, he also pointed me in the direction of another contractor who was cheaper than him when it comes to doing Solatubes/Sun Tunnel skylights. Honesty over making a quick buck. Now I know why my friend who referred me to A&M has used them all throughout his commercial real estate empire. When it does come time to replace our roof, A&M is certainly going to get a call.
