Well, the underlying mortgage in our cooperative apartment complex is about to be foreclosed on as they chose to take our monthly payments and not pay the mortgage. This occured when we had just decided to not renew their contract with us.

As a renter here at the Acropolis Gardens, let me just say I am glad I am on a short-​term lease. After a slew of incidences it has become clear to me this is the worst managed property and management I’ve experienced. If you’re looking to make an investment, get back on the NQ and turn the other way. I would give this management a –5 stars if I could. It’s not even worthy of calling it a star. Mind you, I love the neighborhood and never had issues with my neighbors. When it comes to the management taking responsibility for basic needs like hot water, gas, heat and hot water during Winter months, they could care less. They are penny pinchers and rumor has it they will cut corners just to get by. Now didn’t you hate that kid in class who always cut corners but they were doing fine. History repeats itself and don’t let it repeat on you.

Metropolitan Pacific Properties has been our property managers for several years. In that time I can say I have never had a satisfactory experience nor been treated as a tenant they actually care about. Whether it’s their constant promises of repairs that never come to fruition, improvements that never materialize, or their inability to respond to complaints they simply fail as property managers. In the time I have lived here I have tried to contact them over a dozen times for various issues and am always met by a constantly full voicemail which they never check or excuses as to why they can’t help me. If it wasn’t for the super and custodial staff this place would be twice as crappy as it already is. Metropolitan cares nothing for the tenants preferring to upgrade their office rather then fix gates that have been broken for years, lights that constantly fail, and boiler problems that cause heating and hot water issues monthly. I would never suggest that anyone move here, if I could afford to leave I would leave in a moment. They do not care for the tenants and are only out for a profit.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This is the worst property management company I’ve ever had. In the 3 years I’ve lived here I’ve never received a call back. If you have to leave a message I guarantee that no one will call back or be concerned with your issue. Our bedroom window has been leaking for over 2 years and we call regularly and they are still «waiting for the construction company to call them back»…supposedly they’ve left tons of messages. Every time it rains our window leaks and water damages everything in our bedroom. The caulking around the window has been crumbling all over our stuff, we have water damage to all of our furniture that is against the wall and there is mold growing in our bedroom. After more than a year of complaints they told us they are doing work to fix external building issues and would come to our apartment to assess the damage. We took the day off and no one ever showed up and that’s the last we’ve heard from them in over 6 months (that wasn’t the first time they said they would check the damage and didn’t show.)
There is no way to get a hold of anyone at the office, the voicemail is always full and cannot accept any new messages. The laundry room has had broken washers and dryers regularly but they take down the broken signs tenants put up so tenants keep using broken machines and waste their money or damage their clothes.
I would never recommend this apartment to anyone and if I could afford to move I would. I can hear everything from my neighbors on all sides of me. There are also tenants who NEVER pick up their dog s*@! And no matter how much you complain and provide evidence they don’t care. There is almost always dog s@!* outside my front door that I have to avoid as I walk to work so I don’t step in it. I recommend finding somewhere else to live in this amazing neighborhood

All these 1 Star reviews don’t lie. I have been on the board of directors in my building since I have moved into the neighborhood. We were in dire need of a new property manager for our building and boy did we make a huge mistake in hiring Metropolitan Pacific Properties. They were horrible! They were not accountable for any mistakes made on their end such as incorrect monthly financial statements, missed building tax filings, ignoring tenant inquires or issues, and overall a horrible company to work with.
If you’re looking to screw up your building with state penalties for missed filings, unanswered questions, and just an overall headache feel free to hire MetPac as your property manager. Otherwise do yourself a favor and stay far far far away from this company.

These people are the absolute worst. I m so disgusted by the attitude I get every time I make a call there. Myself and all the other residents have been speaking to one another and we all figured out that we get blown off left and right by them. building buzzer has been broken for a year and a ½ at LEAST and they will do nothing about it. Awful attitudes, complete lack of communication and just total disorganization make Metropolitan Pacific Properties the worst «management» I have ever seen or dealt with. Avoid dealing with them at all costs
