Mathnasium bridges the gap between traditional and reform math programs by helping our students master number facts, build computational skills, and improve number sense. We tutor math in a relaxed, homework-​free environment. We believe that students do not hate math, they hate being confused by math. With understanding comes confidence and an enthusiasm for math you never thought was in your child.

History

Established in 2014.

Mathnasium is an international chain of year-​round learning centers where children go to improve their math skills. Each franchised center utilizes the Mathnasium Method, an individually customizable educational curriculum that has been refined with 35 years of classroom experience and research. Its goal: teach children math in a way that makes sense to them.

Meet the Manager

Sully C.

Manager

Sully Chen has a Bachelors in Accounting from Hunter College. After attending school in Santo Domingo, Puerto Rico, and New York she realized that there was one thing in common in all of these places, the children needed a stronger foundation in math.

After becoming a mother of two children, she decided to leave behind her position as an assistant treasurer at a major construction company to fully involve herself in her children’s education. She was researching math programs for her sons when she came across Mathnasium. After learning about the Mathnasium Method she decided this is the right program to help all children learn and succeed in math.

Sully and her team are ready to apply the Mathnasium Method to teach your child math the way that makes sense to them.
