This is one of those hidden gems in LIC/​Astoria. The food here is made with love. Can’t beat it. Best chicken Parm sandwich in town.

I was looking to cater a party for my girlfriends birthday for 30 people. I ordered two 3 foot Italian sandwiches and made a catering order for 15 people (2 meats (meatballs and penne with meat sauce), 1 chicken dish (chicken part), 1 pasta (veggie pasta), salad and bread for $ 10 per person). I called Frank about 3 days in advance for the order and he was very helpful. The total was $ 255.
The food is fantastic and everyone loved it especially the sandwiches. Frank dropped off some heat grates to make sure the food was hot when served. Thank you!

So forget all the fancy Astoria Italian restaurants! This place is by far THE best! I catered for my daughters baptism and the food was a hit at the party! every dish I ordered was perfect and delicious. I’m actually catering again this week for my daughters birthday party. The catering prices are the best around. Very affordable and spectacular service.

Surprised that L & M was not on Unilocal.
Its been there for a while and has solid cold cuts and variety of Italian dishes on lunch time.
Best of all is a small mom and paps shop, seemed to be ran by family and I like to support that.
