Horrible. I went there with my girlfriend and her friend and after only an hour of sitting(mind you we ordered hookah and we’re ordering drinks) they forced us up from the table and out is in between two other groups in a spot where clearly not even one of us could sit. When we asked the owner about it(that Arab asshole that always has a backwards baseball cap on) he just shrugged. Hookah never pulls right either. Garbage ass place. Take your business elsewhere. Only good thing I must say though is that the dj is great.

I used to be a regular at this lounge about 3 years ago before they even had a bar. Today I was walking down steinway with my boyfriend and we curiously stepped in to check it out. I must say the bar has added some value to this lounge. Their hookah is mediocre, compared to other hookah lounges but it lasts pretty long(I would recommend blue mist). During their happy hour shots are $ 4 which is a pretty good price. It’s a chill spot and I can definitely see myself coming back. Can’t say much about their service, I was there on a Monday and only two other people were there other than my boyfriend and I. I would definitely recommend people to come by and check this lounge out.

Khan may be my new go to hookah spot. It’s no secret that there are plenty of places to choose from on the Steinway Strip for hookah but there’s also some annoying BS to deal with at other places. I’m kind of surprised to hear people complain about the service here, we were here on Sunday 1÷17÷16, had a blonde waitress who was very sweet and attentive. Drinks were stiff, hookah is pretty good. There is an older man(probably the owner) who comes around and tends to the hookah, changing coals and such. Which brings me to the next part of Khan I loved… the music was on point, mix of hip hop, rap, throwbacks etc. There was a DJ and an MC type guy(a jamaican/haitan, I asked). They were both great and memorable. I hate being THAT person to request songs but they were really playing some great sh*t so I had to go up and compliment and request more. They were so friendly and played some songs right away that I had asked about. Thanks guys, didn’t go unnoticed. The crowd here… they were turnt the hell up, but in a good way. No sloppiness but everyone was there to have a good time, also love when ladies can have a good time together which I saw there on this night, they even had me up dancing and I didn’t know them. I’m taking one star off because while the hookah was above average, it just didn’t last as long as I had hoped.

Wow this place has the most TERRIBLESERVICE I’ve ever been to. Holy hell it took forever to be served and the server almost BURNED us with the coal! The place smelled really bad and the mouth piece on the hookah was DIRTY. And when I was leaving with my friends, the person serving us had the nerve to ask if we could leave more money for the tip! I AMNEVERGOINGHEREAGAIN, DISGUSTING, TERRIBLESERVICE, RUDESTAFF, AVOIDATALLCOSTS!

Worst hookah bar I have ever been to in my life and I have been to plenty The service was dreadful, the hookah was lousy and the atmosphere was unpleasant. And to be honest they don’t value their customers hence this place is always so empty

This place is a solid 3.5 stars. They do not push bottle service like other establishments on Steinway, the hookah is reasonable but doesn’t last very long. The service is prompt and friendly, and the drinks are made well. My only small issue is the music can sometimes be really loud and a little lacking in diversity.

When it comes to nightlife in New York, there’s always an internal warning of financial regret or questions that linger. Do not spend X amount of dollars tonight(unless you’re as reckless as a customer paying for 10 lap dances and multiple drinks at a strip joint every weekend). How much value will I get out of this location?(Back to the stripper metaphor. Can they do more than dance? Like strip and perform a Shakespeare monologue? I’d pay for that.). I came across this little hookah venue with hopes of getting my value. From my understanding, these places come and go faster than a serial masturbator, and there’s plenty of them in queens(The lounges. Not masturbators). I guess what caught my attention was the seemingly good vibe and music calling my name, unlike a lounge close by that felt like a sales pitch by it’s promoter. Upon immediate entrance, I was assisted by a female waitress dressed a tight black dress and a kind of ripped blouse showing just enough cleavage to distract anyone’s eyes. I probably didn’t have to provide that visual, but hey, eye candy can be important for a venue, right? Sex appeal aside, she was attentive and quick to provide any requests. As I awaited my service, embraced a great selection of music, both contemporary and classic 90’s to early 2000’s. As a first time customer, I couldn’t tell if the DJ was just that good or if it brought me back to a more youthful note when music wasn’t so repetitive or sounded like noise. House, pop, dancehall, reggaeton, hip hop, r&b. the essentials of a good grind or breaking your knees trying to be Chris Brown or Michael Jackson. A pleasant, soothing ambience of dim lighting perfectly complemented the hookah love fest, and that seemed to draw in a «behaved» crowd. No bottle cracking fights or abnormal egos ensued. The lounge was mostly occupied by a mixed Hispanic(Colombian) and Middle Eastern crowd in their early 20’s to mid 30’s. Groups of females stayed on corners probably gossiping about other women, whereas some guys had their own group and gazed into their phones checking Facebook updates. I caught one guy giving himself a selfie, which made me question whether he was stood up and was trying find a plan B to fill in the void of loneliness. There were also a few couples whispering sweet nothings into each others’ ears. I guess that’s the comfort zone this lounge possessed. Hookah prices ranged from 10 dollars and up with a variety of flavors, both standard and fruit based. Liquor prices were standard, along the 8 – 10 dollar range, with speciality drinks being a little steeper in price. As the night continued, the music took on a special life with a DJ that was full of personality. He attempted to get everyone involved and humorously pointed out anyone dancing or showing their love for some of that timeless music free of Justin Bieber. I definitely challenged my old man knees later that night. While not the cheapest and most extravagant location for a good time, I had a pretty flawless experience that met all my needs. I’d definitely come back again.

Came here for Date night last night. All I have to say is wow! This is one of the best hookah lounges that I have been to on Steinway, and I have been to a lot! They have alcohol and a huge variety of hookahs for a great price. It is 21+ to enter. The servers were so nice and made sure we were good. The guy changing the coal changed it frequently. And the DJ played every type of music and was excellent! We are coming back here for sure! Very Classy place! Very comfortable & The bathroom is beautiful!

i’m straddling btwn a 3 and 4 stars. probably worthy of a 3.5 star review but let’s round down since i’m a hater on Unilocal. we stumbled across this place after our initial hookah options let us down. tried to go to déjà vu a few blocks away but they are only open thurs-sat during august. so we came to hookah party central on steinway street between 28th ave and 25th ave(its just one block). there’s a million hookah joints here. most of them do NOT serve alcohol. probably due to not having a liquor license or something. thats a big no no. i don’t enjoy hookah THAT much. its more of an acquaintance to alcohol, not the other way around. so we finally find khan lounge. it was empty on a wednesday at 7p. we were literally the first ones there. but the place filled up nicely as the night progressed. the specials that night, $ 8 for regular hookahs and YESTHEYSERVEALCOHOL but no food. $ 20 for a bucket of beer(5 bottles). not too shabby. i’ll take it. the atmosphere is pretty nice, red velvet seating, dim lighting, good temperature and relaxing feel. although there are really no booths, just seating along the walls and chairs. they play music but no djs that night. the music was weird, mostly spanish, hip hop and some reggae. and mostly bad versions of it. the waitress was attentive and fast but didn’t smile much. she was cute tho. she got the job done, i don’t need someone being fake nice to me(altho i pretend that they like me if they are). so everything up to this point was good. the one problem i have about this place is the hookah itself. the good pulls don’t last very long. it quickly runs out and we have to refill. the refills are only $ 5 but they don’t last long either. so we order another pipe and have our current one switched out as well. so now we have two new pipes which also have the same problems which makes me think that all the pipes here just aren’t very good. one positive is that i like their mouthpieces better than other hookah places. these actually go into the pipe hole rather than around it, and the mouthpiece is itself is flat that fits in your mouth better… pause. so all in all, not a bad experience, haven’t tried out the other places which may have alcohol + hookah around here but this was a good first experience on steinway.

There’s no need to go to Manhattan when all the best hookah places are in Astoria. This place truly cares about the quality of your hookah! The staff is very friendly and helpful. My first time, I came with a guy for our second date. This place will get you out of your comfort zone, into some fun, and at the very least have some good«turn up» music playing if there’s an awkward moment, haha. I’m not sure what flavors we got but as far as I remember, it was good. The alcohol is reasonably priced. My second time, I came with a friend on a Wednesday and there were only 4 other people. We still had a good time though. I got the Piña Colada and my friend got Watermelon Breeze. If you like a crisp, refreshing flavor, I’d go with the Watermelon Breeze. Personally, I enjoyed hers more so I kept taking it away from her. Mine wasn’t pulling hard enough so they replaced my mouthpiece with a flat one. I like the slightly flatter mouthpieces, they seem to me to be more comfortable to use vs sucking on a ball. In my opinion of course. Two bottles of white wine were less than $ 80(I think). They don’t serve food so you can BYOF(Bring your own food)!

I haven’t had hookah this good in a while! It’s located in Steinway, the place known for its hookah lounges, and this one is among the better ones here. I went here at night with a friend of mine. The lighting is pretty dark, but the music and ambiance is great. Not to mention their friendly and helpful staff! And of course, the hookah was just perfect. I also tried their ice hose as well, which was sooo good. They also got their liquor license recently I’ve heard, which is great for those who want to enjoy a nice drink on the side. Looking forward to coming back here soon!

This is one of the worst hookah places I’ve been to in my life. I came here with my friends tonight and I’ve never felt more forgotten about or disrespected, we asked multiple employees for coals 5+ times in a 45 minute period(1:15−2:00) and none of them came to help us but, we watched them actually run back and forth to bring other tables drinks and hookahs. We were even gracious enough to give up our table to let another group stay together and still the staff gave us no attention. We got our check and left. Upon leaving I spoke to the man checking ID at the door and told him about my experience and he gave me an attitude saying it was because of a big party that showed up. And on top of it the hookah was awful TL;DR: the service sucks, the hookah sucks. Go somewhere else

The service in this place is top-notch. And the hookah is well made. If you aren’t happy with the hookah, they are ready to fix it. Coal change every 15 – 20 min without being asked to. The best part is that they recently got their liquor license which made me give them that 1 extra star. Very reasonably priced. It’s my one stop for good hookah.

Came to Steinway spontaneously trying to have a good time at a new hookah place but we didn’t know any. Walked around cheong places out until we decided to go inside Khan lounge. I chose this place because it was not crazy loud and it seemed very chill. The inside is like one large wide hall way with couches along the side. The music was on point and we ended up seating near the back which was less loud compared to the other spots. The server or the owner, not sure what his position was, but he was very friendly and have great suggestions for the hookah. The hookah was great and I had some Moroccan tea which was delicious. The menu has a great variety of hookah along with the ice tip which I didn’t get to try. I really liked this place, I’ll definitely come here again when I’m in the area.

Great for hookah. Pineapple, orange, and grapefruit heads available with pre-mixed exotic concoction, or feel free to build your own. Ice pipes available, and milk-bases to make the smoke nice n’ smooth. We were given wooden charcoals to start and then the second round were natural coconut coals — firing up our passion fruit shisha in a tall Khalil Mamoon pipe. Service was great, they start it up for you and tend to the hookah every 30 minutes le so which is great. The venue is cute and have open bay windows so you can people watch on Steinway st.(Middle eastern neighborhood in Astoria, Queens). There are about 12 lounges on the same strip serving up hookah so it’s hard to choose! Starting at $ 15(almost ½ of one basic non-fruit/ice/milk hookah in CT)! Look for the happy hour and chalkboard specials, this lounge does NOT serve alcohol, but others do! Gratuity is included like a lot of places in NYC so there is no need to leave an extra tip.

I came here with my friends after my graduation ceremony. Its a nice cozy place. The waitresses are friendly. No food here. The reason I dropped by here was because I wanted to get the pan masala hookah. They didnt have it so I got the green house. It was pretty good. My friend ordered a iced hookah extension/contraption thing. Its extra 5 $ and you basically attach it to the pipe. I didnt much touch the difference because green house is a minty flavor anyways. But my friends enjoyed it. The music is good and not too loud so you can actually hold a conversation. Overall, I will be back to try out more flavors.
