Kapooch

Brianna and team are so great. We are thankful our neighbors in our building referred her. We adopted our 1yr old pup three months ago and she has been going on group walks for about two months now. Brianna texts me updates after every walk and also went the extra mile to wipe up a pee spot in our apartment when Maya escaped her gated area. Brianna is also very helpful when I have a question about Maya’s house training. I would highly recommend Kappoch!

Brianna is fantastic, I would definitely recommend Kapooch to anyone in the area. She has been walking our rescue pitbull puppy for a few months and we have seen a huge improvement in her on-​leash behavior. I recently walked with Brianna, my puppy and a few other clients and was amazed at how good they all were together. Our puppy is very eager to play and we’ve had a hard time breaking her focus/​getting her to calm down around other dogs. Brianna taught us techniques to help her calm down and put her attention back on us. She has really been amazing, we feel so lucky to have found her!

I’ve using Brianna for years now. She is always on time and super patient with my wild dog.
Before Brianna my pooch was wild and did not listen to me. Our walks were hell. I was about to give up.
She taught me how to act around my dog and how to walk my dog. She is the «true» dog whisperer. Funny enough she actually goes to Caesar’s trainings you know the guy that had that show. She continues her education in walking and taking care of dogs. How many places actually go for training. NONE!

I can not say enough amazing things about Kapooch and Brianna! When I got a second job I knew I needed some help taking care of my baby Harley, but the idea of giving a stranger access to my home freaked me out! After interviewing several people, I IMMEDIATELY knew Kapooch was the one!
Brianna has an obvious love of animals! She is very personable, and I knew as soon as I met her she was someone I could trust. Look her up… Her resume speaks for itself! But aside from that she is not only amazing with Harley… She’s amazing with me! I can be a bit of a pain with my off schedule and last minute needs and she not only accommodates me, she does it happily and easily. She has been a life saver!
Her rates are MORE than fair! I have paid more for service not even close to as good! She’s definitely worth it! She’s even started to do some grooming (in your home) which could not be more convenient. I came home to my little bubba dressed in a bow tie smelling and looking great!

Amazing service and rates! We have two Maltese dogs (Nibbler & Riley) and were looking for someone in Astoria to walk and potentially board them while we were away on vacation. Naturally we looked at a couple of options, and accidentally came across Kapooch. After speaking to Brianna (owner) for a few minutes we were immediately convinced we could trust her. She made us feel very comfortable, and her care and attention were immediately obvious.
We started by having Kapooch walk our dogs twice a day (we would get cute photos and notes showing our dogs having fun). We were so happy and comfortable with the service, that on a recent vacation we had Kapooch walk and board one of our dogs. Nibbler was taken care of so well while Brianna watched him, he even got to socialize with other dogs, and became very comfortable around them. That’s a tough task for him, since he’s not around strangers’ dogs often.
Bottom line, if you’re looking for someone to walk your dog (s), board them, or even do some training, Kapooch is an amazing service, with good prices and a very flexible schedule. On top of that, Brianna is very personable and is a natural with pets!

I would 100% recommend this service. I found Brianna online and was skeptical about allowing a stranger into my home while I was not there. I couldn’t be happier with the results. She made me feel very comfortable that my dog would be properly taken care of while I was away for a long weekend and I’ve actually continued to use the service daily. The prices are very reasonable and In just 4 days of being away for vacation and her working with my dog, Luna, her walking has improved 100%. She has even gone above and beyond to get Luna interacting with other dogs and she is now a pleasure to walk myself. If anyone is looking for animal boarding, daily walks or training I would highly recommend Kapooch and I have made it clear I would have no problem being a reference if any future Clients request one. Our dog, Mickey, is a sweet, shy rescue. When we first got him, he trembled and hid and did all sorts of strange behaviors we couldn’t understand. Mickey had made lots of progress over the years, but his time with Brianna was truly transformative.
The biggest miracle is that he has become calm and confident. It feels like a miracle! In the moments when his insecurity comes up, Brianna helped equip us with adequate ways to communicate with him, to let him know we’re in charge, so he doesn’t slip into his insecure dominant mind frame.
We were very close to considering doggie xanax or prozac, but after spending some time with Brianna, we’re not even having that conversation any more. She’s a pleasure to work with, a great listener, and impressive to behold in her command with our Mickey. We’re excited to work with Brianna more to keep the progress going.
