Gary was super nice and patient. He explained everything to this newb to vaping. Never felt rushed or pushed in any direction. We also tried a bunch of flavors and he kept to our explained pallet. After shopping around we bought everything here because of the customer service.

Hands down the best vape shop in NYC. Spiro, Gabe, Ellie and the gang know pretty much anything you need to know about vaping. Almost any popular juice out on the market will be at cityvape. He environment is comfortable and you can try any juice you want. If you’ve never been here, make sure you go.

I’m a virgin vaper. Got one as a gift for my girlfriend. Seems overwhelming at first but got approached by Jason, cool guy, in shop and everything became easy. I didn’t know anything about this other than inhale and make smoke. He was patient and very informative. Gave me orientation on almost every single thing about vaping. They have Over 100 different juices. No refunds here but the owner was nice enough to honor an exchange for my purchase if my gf didn’t like the present but no need cuz she loved it. Planning to return here for juice (u can try as much as you want) and maybe a vaper for myself!!!

As a neophyte vaper/​vapor/​one-​who-​vapes, I was a bit intimidated walking in for the first time. While the room smells delicious and looks sparklingly clean (the exact opposite of the ashtray apartments that I lived and smoked away in during my college years) I don’t know a mod from a tank, or the different levels of nicotine in a juice, or the sizes and wattage of different coils, etc. Sitting along the bar-​like setup, I was definitely nervous that the regulars who came here to hang out would be on to me.
Lucky for me, the guys working here, and even the couple of other patrons I’ve talked to, are super friendly and made me feel welcome. I’m certain that my newness showed through but they seemed nonplussed in helping to correct me in asking for products that I have no idea about without making me feel stupid.
I love that I get text messages with special coupons and alerts (I signed up for that, they are not just spamming customers as far as I know), and they run a pretty nice IG account that I can see when they get new products and juice flavors.
I’m giving 4 stars because I haven’t been into other vape shops, so I don’t have anything to know just how much next-​level better than others they actually are (I really want to imagine that they are — please don’t hold this against me!). I’m going to keep my eyes out and pop in to some other shops as I can so that I can drop a future update to my review and give what I think is probably a well-​deserved 5^th star. What I can say is that City Vape has been so good to me, I can’t imagine wanting to go anywhere else.
Quitting smoking is hard and City Vape is a good spot, with good people making it a little bit easier.

I’ve been to city vape many times since my original review and the staff has been ridiculously personable and friendly each time. There’s one guy who is tall and wears glasses and he’s so nice and helpful. Also, they’ve increased their hours, which is definitely nice.

Premier vape shop in Astoria. The new spot is very spacious and clean. Love the fact they get mods and juice very quick! Tristan is a great asset to this company and has been very helpful throughout my vape experience. Burton is also very accommodating and friendly as well! Definitely worth checking out while in the neighborhood.

One of the best vape shops in NYC. Moved to the neighborhood earlier this year, and they’d just opened a couple weeks prior. Before that I was all the way down in Bay Ridge and commuting up to Henley every week for juice and coils, because I dug the vibes there. I couldn’t imagine becoming loyal to a different shop, but City Vape has become my go-​to. Firstly because I live two blocks away, and secondly because every single dude working there is knowledgable and cool as Hell. They stock almost every good juice imaginable, and keep their juice menu up-​to-​date. What I like most is their constant discounts – always sending me 15% for this, 20% for that, etcetera. One of the homies there just came back from a vape conference in Cali, so clearly they’re invested in keeping up with the happenings of the culture.
If you’re in Queens and looking a top-​notch locally-​owned vape shop with a down to earth clientele + ill vibes, look no further!

I’m still a little sad the B’way location is closed but have grown to love the 23^rd Ave location even more.
City Vape is constantly getting new juices and equipment, so it’s hard to get bored! The staff is quite helpful and eager to recommend juices to fit your flavor profile, when asked. Definitely the only «vape shop» in Astoria worth visiting.

Since it was my first time inquiring about vaping, I was pretty nervous to even go in because I felt so out of my element. Chris and Gabriel made my boyfriend and I feel so comfortable and welcome. Chris really took his time explaining everything to me and answering ever question I had. He also did it with a smile on his face so I wasn’t so hesitant to ask important questions. He left me try all the flavors I asked about, specially since I’m already an indecisive person to begin. They have an amazing selection of products and flavors. After I purchased everything, Chris gave me a bunch of pointers and even helped me set up my kit so I would know how to do it going forward.
Amazing service and very knowledgable staff. I can’t wait to come back. Definitely going to tell my friends about this place who are looking to quit smoking cigarettes just like me.

I went to city vape today to set myself up and get rid of cigs forever this place is awesome! I had been doing my research online/​on Instagram for a while and the reviews were right! Best selection and best customer service by far! I came from throggs neck and it was worth the tolls! The guy who helped me answered my billions of questions and got me all set up and ready to go and they had the exact vaporizer I was looking for as well as so many amazing juice flavors. I will definitely be back soon! Thank you guys, I’m so glad I went there since the shops by me are way smaller and the didn’t have nearly as much selection.

My opinion about City Vape is that they were definitely ahead of the curve in terms of opening a well stocked shop off Broadway in Astoria. After moving to a much larger and nicer location by Ditmars they seem to be raking in lots of sales. Place is pretty packed most of the time. But you can still get help from the folks that work there. If you’re a regular you’ll get quick service. If you have questions it’s worth waiting to get your answers.
A lot of new vape shops are just now opening, but I think CV will outlast most of them.

I’ve been to quite a few Vape places. This one BY FAR takes the cake. They have over 100 Vapes to choose from, all custom made. Nicotine ranges in .03, .06, and .09 I believe, I could be wrong, but I have the .03. They have this AMAZING flavor called «Banzai» Oh man there are so many flavors in here its ridiculous. They have EVERYTHING you need. I walked in there doing my research, and bought EVERYTHING there and left very happy with what I got. The workers there were so nice, and the seating area is a good size to bring a few friends and just Vape, this is the only place I will go to shop. Looper is also another good flavor.

First off! I am in a wheelchair and they accommodated me to the fullest. I love that regardless of my disability they treat me as an equal, unlike other business.establishments. I have even established acquaintances with some of the employees and find myself there for hours just joking around and vaping.
First time I went into this shop was with a cheap vape pen that I bought online. Within a month I upgraded to a 50 W eleaf. They are very knowledgeable. I must admit, I am kind of a pest that asks too many questions but they answered every single one.
It’s my go to place now. Sure you have to be patient since they service quite a few customers at once but that is just part of a business.
