After a twenty year career in Washington, DC network news, FDM President John Foundas created Foundation Digital Media to serve the needs of corporations and small business with effective video marketing, advertising and video production services.

We’re not a large agency or multi-​pronged firm. We’re a small staff of passionate, award-​winning professionals delivering high end production value with exemplary customer satisfaction.

Meet the Business Owner

John F.

Business Owner

The anchor of our video production company is native Washingtonian, John Foundas.

He spent years traveling the country covering high profile events for Fox, CNN, AP and Tribune Broadcasting. Some of the more memorable events were the Timothy McVeigh and OJ Simpson Trials, numerous Presidential campaigns and countless hurricane hunting assignments. His account of covering 96′s Hurricane Bertha in North Carolina was published in the national industry magazine HD Video Pro. John also had the privilege to serve as a White House Press Photographer during the Clinton Administration (1996 – 1999).

John has earned numerous industry awards including the Edward R. Murrow Award for excellence in Photojournalism for his work on ⁹⁄₁₁ in NYC and has also been recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences with four Emmy Award nominations, two of which resulted in bringing home the coveted statuette.
