Much of what we carry are high quality european imports. Gifts & toys, including matroyskas, dolls, magic, puzzles, stuffed animals, Christmas ornaments, nutcrackers, calendars, and cards.

History

Established in 1979.

Long ago (1979), in a land far away (Carmel, CA), a tiny shop called Unicorn Gifts & Toys first opened its doors. From the outset we offered a selection of the finest merchandise. Had you visited on that first day, you would have found European imports, such as blown glass Christmas ornaments, nutcrackers and toys. An array of stuffed animals were happily awaiting new homes.

From our humble beginnings we have grown, expanded and gone through incarnations as Merlin’s and The Enchantor, before returning to our original name when we came to Ashland, OR in 1988.

In Ashland, we began on Main street in September of 1989. In 2004 we moved off Main to North Second St where we had a building to ourselves.

On Nov 14, 2009 we returned to Main St. At 242 East Main, we can be found under our new purple awning.

Today we continue to offer the very finest products available. The store’s rule of thumb for buying is «If we wouldn’t want to have it at home, we don’t offer it for sale in our shop.»
