Sad that this is the only printing place in Ashland they don’t have wifi printers? Which would make everything way easier and I’m sure they make enough money… Plus twice now the rudest lady was working my boyfriend accidentally dropped his lap top and she laughed at him! So rude! She also gave us little help trying to figure out how to print a simple pdf… they need to get rid of her the funniest part is that they have a tip jar… No way

Maybe Brenda has a relative who works there. We have done business with these guys for years — maybe 20. They haven’t even noticed that we no longer spend the few thousand dollars/​year we did for all that time. Go back 10 and ahead 10 years and they have walked away from what, $ 20, $ 30,000 in sales? Nobody is minding the store. Can’t even get the owner to return a call so we can pay our bill (much smaller bill nowadays). Sorry, Brenda. Staff is rude. Never smiles. Not a «Hi, how can I help you?» but usually: «Whadda you want?» It’s unfortunately worth our time to go to Mike’s or ProntoPrint in Medford to get good service and appreciation for ur business.

I’ve been using Printfast since they opened decades ago. Excellent service. Competitive prices. Great staff. Quality products. Thank you!

Rules for frequenting a printshop:
1. Do NOT leave your kids, dogs or sheep unattended. Local people will harass you, and your furry friends are welcome inside, as long as they are on their best behaviors.
2. Do NOT email what you need from the service counter, and then expect it to be printed when you look up.
3. Do NOT email something to the wrong email address, and then get upset because it was not received.
4. Do NOT get upset if you dropped the ball on your project, own it.
5. Do NOT expect that your job will be done sooner because you are a bitch.
6. Do NOT expect that your job will be done sooner because you are really nice.
7. Expect your job to be prioritized by the order it was submitted, and NOT by order of how important you believe you are.
8. Do NOT believe everything you think.
9. Remember, machines malfunction and have limitations and so do people!
10. DO Be grateful, not rude and expectant. It is a small town. Word of mouth travels faster than email.
The NEW Printfast (as of July 2015) is awesome!

We have been using Printfast for all of our printing needs for years. They get the job done and relatively ‘fast’ too! Good options for paper and visability.

Updated review! Peeps, I haven’t stepped foot inside Printfast in over a year and I am a much happier person because of it.
I started using A Street Printing and overall am so much happier using them. Yeah, they are a little dorky and the owner seems to be a bit angry and likes to post a lot of SIGNS and the actual printing is slightly sub par than PF, but the customer service is awesome and accommodating. They even ordered special label paper for me and were super friendly about it.
Try A Street! It’s so nice not to have to dread going into a printing place :)

I took my business card pdf in, showed it to the counter person who quote a price based on 2-​sided and the card stock I chose. The young woman was not very personable but I wasn’t there to be charmed, I just wanted to move forward with my business. When I returned several days later, the proof was not on the paper I’d chosen and the price had jumped $ 20+. The (same) employee said that’s what it would cost if they were going to match the color. But she was willing (!) to try their stock day-​of-​the-​week ink to try to match it and put the proof on the correct paper. They called me back when the second proof was ready. It looked super-​crappy and I did not want the substitution. But the sales person wouldn’t budge, she refused to give me the original priced quote and said «You can take it or leave it.» Not only was she rude but she wasn’t willing to own her mistake. After doing business with Printfast very frequently for 10 years, I’d rather go to Medford for anything beyond d-​i-​y copies. Mike’s Copy was always outstanding when I used them for various projects so they’ll get my business again. I wish I’d remembered them this time.

Dismayed to read the low marks this shop got. I’ve been using Printfast for about ten years. Service is often slow (they’re very busy, and I’ve waited much longer at Office Depot). But, making self-​serve copies is super quick and fuss-​free, and I appreciate that they have very low rates without having to use member coupons and other gimmicks like you do at chain stores. I haven’t had any trouble with emailing in color copies to be printed either. I give clear instructions of what I want, and they get it done.
The staff knows me by name, and they’ve always been friendly and helpful. I’ve never had any issues with poor print quality.

I was needing to print off some basic awards for my dance team banquet. I emailed a landscape Word document with minor formatting and colored text. What they printed off was plain black, not formatted, and not at all what I was wanting for my team. And the ink is splotchy and faded throughout all of my prints. I tried to ask the girl if she would open the file again to see what had happened, and ultimately she sent someone else over to collect my $ 3 and send me on my way without so much as making eye contact with me.
Terrible customer service, terrible quality, terrible everything.

Printfast is LEGIT! I found myself reading some of these reviews and some are quite entertaining!!! A disgruntled employee, people who think paper is free, along with a service… PEOPLE! You gotta pay for services rendered! Geesh! Then, you’re all expecting «smiles» «joy» etc!!! Go to your shrink for the surge of joyful living y’all are expecting from the local print shop!!! Aaron was most helpful and my printing is professional, and the fee reasonable. I highly recommend this business! I waited for 10 – 14 minutes for double sided 246 page manual that was bound with those little spirally thing-​a-​ma-​bobs… Look around Ashland… everything is printed here! And if you have to wait, maybe it’s because they are busy! Busy is good! Plus, you get a free 2015 calendar and scratch pads! Can’t go wrong with that!

If there was another option in town I would never ever go there again. The staff knows there are few alternatives, and behave as if they are the only game in town. The printing is C+. The attitude is F–

The owner made a typographical error while transferring a note from an e-​mail to a document, then expected the young lady (a close friend of mine) to pay for 100 copies of gift cards including the mistake. That’s completely unreasonable.
I’d make a different choice — there are too many honest and hard-​working options available in town. rs

When I first moved to Ashland and was looking for a regular copy shop to use for business, I was skeptical of this little place. They reminded me of a Kinkos circa 1990 — but of course with better copiers — with flyers everywhere, the smell of laser toner and paper thick in the air, and with grumpy employees to boot…
However, after I went here a few times, the staff didn’t seem so cold and the cash-​or-​checks-​only policy didn’t bother me as much. Now, a few years later, I really like these guys. They get the job done and do it well, and I’ve even shared a few laughs with the staff :) I guess they’re just a hard shell to crack.

What. The. Hell!!!
I went into Printfast to have one word document printed off my flashdrive for school as my home printer is out of black ink and my assignment was due in an hour. I have used fedex/​kinkos and various other printing stores in many different cities over the years, and have always had a very quick and easy experience. What I had today was neither quick nor easy nor pleasant experience.
I was met at the counter by a young woman who took my flash drive and asked me what the document was called. I wanted one copy of my 2 page document in color, as there was a light blue border and a photo on the cover page.
15 minutes later, I’m still waiting for my 2 pages, which was insane because there was literally not another customer in the store the entire time I was there (about 20 minutes, print «fast» yeah OKAY).
When handed my papers I noticed that some of the paragraph from the second page was on the first page, and explained this wasn’t right. The man told me that because my word document was not a PDF, it couldn’t be printed «the way I wanted». What? What? Are you kidding me? You used a REGULAR computer. You can’t open a document and print it?
They were about to charge me $ 3.50, for 2 pieces of paper, but instead because of the «mishap» the man said «I will not charge you today, but you also cannot keep this» and took the paper from me. Not even offering to fix it or do it right!!!
To the girl helping me who is «still in training»: I suggest getting out of there before your soul is sucked out of you as well.
If I ever need anything else printed– ever again– I’ll drive the 15+ miles to Medford kinkos/​fedex where the people working there are competent enough to print a 2 page word document and don’t charge for using a flash drive. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!

I have not had a lot of experience with Printfast, but I was extremely impressed with them from start to finish on some recent brochures I had designed and printed. They were very patient with me (some changes I made) and although I don’t recall the name of the designer she did a great job on some new art work. They were more than pleasant to work with and hand delivered my brochures when they were finished. I find it rather sad that so many of us are all guilty of not taking the time to write enough reviews about the good experiences we have, thus allowing the negative people out there to spoil the image of some great small businesses! Thank you Printfast for being one of those GREAT small businesses that I would highly recommend and look forward to working with in the future.
