We went 2 evenings ago, on a Wednesday night, with our family. I have to admit that I have a hard and fast rule: I do not eat at buffets. Period. But, we are from out of town visiting family, and everyone wanted to go here, so I was being a good sport. Just like the other reviewers said, the buffet pans are not brimming with food, but that’s fine with me. I’d always opt for fresh rather than old and heated by a lamp. There were only 2 other tables in the restaurant when we entered. On my first pass, I placed one of everything on my plate: chicken skewer, cheese Rangoon, roasted chicken, general Tao, flounder, green beans, veggies. Everything tasted good! I was surprised! Bite, bite, bite. More and more surprised! I loaded up my second plate with my favorites! The French green beans were delicious and cooked al denete, they actually had a snap when I bite into them! I steered clear of the sushi buffet, so I can’t comment. The dessert bar left a lot to be desired. Jello, packaged sugar cookies, weird cake squares, overripe hard cantaloupe slices, sliced bananas with pudding(but no nilla wafers??). Ladies room was clean. Service was fine. Fortune cookies served at end of meal.

This place is so nasty. When I first moved here I went with my husband and the food was cold and empty. They made no attempt to fill any of the dishes. The quality of the food was so bad that I would feel better eating food out of the dumpster. When customers are done eating and there is food left on the plate it gets shoveled back into whatever food is left on the line for someone else to eat. UGH, so not clean. I hope the health department does an inspection soon and close this place down. I love Chinese food and would like to see one here that is ran much better and is clean. No restaurant should re-serve left over food to other customers and I don’t like eating in a place with tons of bugs. I will be thrilled to see this place go out of business.

My boyfriend and I ate there at 8pm on a Monday night, which was probably not wise. We both went to the restrooms before being seated. They needed to be cleaned, to say the least. In the women’s restroom, there was urine all over the toilet and something sticky all over the inside of the stall partitions. In the men’s room, someone had exploding diarrhea and attempted(very poorly) to clean it up.(I will spare you the rest of the details. Trust me, you don’t want to know.) I guess we should have just left at that point but we decided to stay and eat. There was very little food in each buffet pan(obviously, they don’t have much business in the evenings), but the food looked fresh. Most of what we had tasted good but a few of the fried items were overcooked and dry. Also, some of the items were not hot enough… the egg rolls were actually cold. I was curious as to their health inspection score, which all restaurants are suppose to have on display, but it was nowhere to be seen. On the plus side, $ 10 per person was a good price for an all-you-can-eat buffet. Our waitress was really sweet and attentive. She kept our drinks refilled and she even gave us 10% off because there wasn’t a lot of food on the buffet. It might have been an off night for them, but the bathrooms left a pretty bad impression on us so we probably won’t go back any time soon.

It’s not the world’s best or anything, but it’s a good place to go in Ashland City. They are GREAT when the food is all fresh and new… sometimes they push it a little far trying to keep older food or almost empty portions out on the buffet. I can understand this because this is such a SMALL town and to keep everything filled to the brim would only mean waste. In all… It’s good. Go there.

4 stars because it is in Ashland City. When ordering from the menu it would get 4 stars as well. The buffet gets 3 ½ stars. As a general rule for all buffets everywhere, only eat at one right before or during the«busy» time. That way the food is fresh and is being refilled. The crab rangoons are good as is General Tso’s Chicken but my wife loves a dish called«Marlay Chicken». Give it a try sometime for lunch.

This place to terrible the Buffet hardly has any food on it and the Crab Legs IF you have them they charge extra even though they are on the Buffet. The serve is terrible and very unfriendly. We have had 2 very bad experiences at this places and do not recommend.
