This place was great! The guy working the night I came in(after having a wonderful dinner across the street) was very helpful. He helped me pick out some tasty cigars for mine and my husbands plans for a scenic cruise the following day. Good recommendations and good selection of other cigars we have enjoyed before. He was also helpful with some other items sold behind the counter and introduced us to an interesting rolling paper that we also both enjoyed. I know smoking is bad for but if you have this bad, nasty habit this place has all the things you need and MORE!

And so begins my series of Asheville reviews this week. I spent the past weekend in the Ash-vegas with a group of friends for a wedding. And what do nine people in a cabin need to help celebrate nuptials? Yes, booze. We already had that covered. But also… cigars. We walked into this little shop after a little afternoon bar hopping. The cigars are kept in a separate room. You have to leave your purses and bags at the door to go in and look. Personally, I know nothing about cigars. We depended on the sole man along for the ride on this Friday adventure. He knew less. Luckily, the guy behind the counter sensed our lack of knowledge. He was super friendly and helpful. I think he got a big kick out of our trio. I assured him my sling was not a fanny pack and I promise I couldn’t stuff cigars in it. I wish it was a pouch, though. I would fill it with fruit snacks. Prices seemed pretty reasonable. A wide range of options to fit any budget or preferences. Convenient location near the bar and restaurants in downtown.

A couple of friends and I went here this evening after supper. We are visiting from North Dakota. I found the employees very friendly and helpful. The prices were also very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place.
