We had a lovely experience at this spa. We got the couple’s massage package. It included a foot soak in the beginning, followed by an hour massage for each of us. Then, they gave us some time to rest and relax, followed by a facial. When we finished, we were welcomed into the lounge area; where we were served champagne and truffles. The owner of this spa has clearly poured her heart into creating a relaxing and stress-free environment. It really was wonderful. The prices made it easy for us to rent a cabin and enjoy a spa day. We wouldn’t have been able to do this with some of the local resorts/hotels. The only negative part of the experience was the noise from outside. We would hear trucks and sound systems from cars over the ambient music in our room. In a different location, it would be perfect.

My sister, mother, and I had a great experience at The Spa at Biltmore Village! I had a package which included a massage, facial, mani and pedi. Karen did an amazing job on my massage! Possibly, the best I’ve ever had! Barbara did my facial and mani and pedi and was so great to talk to and did such an awesome job! All in all it was great! Services were awesome, atmosphere was serene, and we would definitely recommend. Only small negative was the front desk girl. She didn’t crack one smile and was pretty much rude. Not a good representation of the rest of the staff or spa.

Fantastic! Amazing! I loved it! I got the mud wrap and a 30 minute massage — both were amazing. Crystal was my massage therapist and. mud therapist? Lol. She was very gentle yet firm, and I was in a semi-dream state the whole time! I will definitely be making this pilgrimage more often :) Oh, and yes, it was a little expensive, but it was absolutely worth it. No one rushed me, no one pressured me to do or buy anything, and no one treated me like anything less than a princess! :)

Five of us visited the Spa this past Saturday for a bachelorette spa day. We were all extremely impressed! While the spa is quite pricey, it is actually reasonable when compared to the other local spas in Asheville. One thing to keep in mind is that they add 18% gratuity to all services(or at least the specials and packages). I had the peppermint pedicure special, which I highly recommend. They treated us like royalty right from the get go. All five of us ladies were very happy with our different treatments. You must try their citrus tea! All in all, a very memorable few hours at the spa!

I went to the Spa at Biltmore two weeks ago for a brazilian waxing(all the hair waxed off down there). I made an appointment a week in advance. The receptionist on the phone was very nice and helpful. Before I made the appointment, I checked out their website. On their website, it said that a brazilian waxing cost starts at $ 65. The receptionist on the phone said that it’ll be between $ 65 to $ 75 depending how much hair I have down there, ingrown hairs, trimming, etc. That’s really pricey compared to the place that I used to go to in Los Angeles which costs only $ 48 and it doesn’t matter on the hair type. But I thought I’d give it a try since I didn’t know any other place in Asheville that did brazilian waxings and I thought that since my hair is short(I had shaved two weeks prior) and isn’t long, then it should only cost me $ 65. There is only street parking but the place is somewhat easy to find. The spa was clean and nice. I didn’t have to wait. There was no one else in the waiting room. The lady waxing me was very nice and polite. The room that I was being waxed in was very clean and serene. New age music was being played in the room. The lady applied the wax on me and waited for it to dry and then pulled it off of me. I had never had this type wax used on me before. This process took nearly an hour! I wasn’t used to that because the place that I went to in Los Angeles took 15 minutes and they used waxing strips. The lady at the spa at biltmore took her time. But she said that she was a «perfectionist» and while she waited for the wax to dry, she would pluck out some of the shorter hairs with tweezers. She also did the back side of me which also felt like forever especially since I was on all fours. When she was done waxing me, she put lavender oil on me which was so strong that it made me smell like lavender throughout the rest of the day. At the end of the appointment, I felt like she did a good job because she took time and care so I gave her generous tip, but when she kept on hinting that she wanted me to make another appointment with her again soon, I couldn’t guarantee that because sometimes I like to let the hair grown out and/or just shave it. When she walked me back to the reception area, she gave the receptionist her price for the session. I was shocked and put aback when the receptionist said that it would cost me $ 75. I don’t know why she didn’t want to charge me the minimum since I didn’t really have a lot of hair and it was her choice to take her time. I’d hate to see how much she would charge someone with a full tribal bush! Yikes! lol. After I had paid that ridiculous amount, the receptionist asked if I wanted to schedule another appointment and if I would like to look at their brochure of their other services that they offer. This place is really pushy about making sales. I am usually understanding about this because I’m in sales too but this place really makes me feel uncomfortable about it. They really want you to spend more money there. And I can’t blame them because they really seem like they get no business. Now that it’s two weeks later, the hair is already starting to grow back and I have ingrowns. I’m disappointed especially since I spent so much money. This place is waaaaaaaaay to expensive. I’m going to look for another place that does brazilian waxings.
