Food was excellent, service and atmosphere was great. Prebussing was a little slack, steak a little overcooked.(Still tender an well flavored.) I plan to return soon.

Def a chain restaurant. Went in Wednesday night, had no idea I’d get a free pie w my meal, great surprise!!! Waitress was. eh, okay. Manager came by, talked, annoyed us in an over friendly manager type way. Food was delicious. Good evening. Good for kids.

I have to say I expected way more! The tater tots were good but the cheese sauce was subpar. The chicken Fried Steak is definitely lacking the flavor & is not that good, frozen pressed meat. The Hubs ate less than half couldn’t eat anymore of it bc of the off taste. The mashed potatoes were ok but not up to resteraunt quality either sad to say. The pasta had way to much onion & two kinds to boot yellow & purple I believe. There were also huge unevenly cut pieces of onion throughout the pasta it made it hard to eat even-though I like onions just not that amount in one dish. If you zoom in on the picture I took you can clearly see what I’m talking about. The rolls & the pie however were delicious! The staff were friendly enough but the waitress messed up our order brought the Hubs pot pie instead of Chicken Fried Steak he wished he had kept it instead. The place has beautiful décor though. I can see why the ratings are so low you would expect most of the food to be good but not most of it to be subpar but sadly that was our experience. Would I go back-honestly no probably not.

The one thing I have to say about O’Charley’s is if you do have a problem, they will try their best to make sure you are satisfied. My steak on this visit just had a strange taste, the server took it back to the kitchen and a manager came to my table an explained to me that they only used fresh meat. And that he didn’t understand why this steak would have a strange taste, and I said the last time I ate there the steak had a good flavor, but was just a little tougher than I was used too. But I did receive another steak and the taste was improved from the first, but honestly it was still a little tougher than the ones I am used to at Texas Roadhouse.

I cannot believe how horrible the service was here. The hostess was very friendly and sat us immediately since the restaurant was not at all busy. My wife and I sat for 15 minutes while servers went to other tables and would look at us. No one came to give us water or even to say hello. We were completely ignored by whomever our server was supposed to be. We left after the 15 minutes fo no service. I will never come here again and I have never been so offended by any restaurant in the past.

Packed with people on a Thursday night in Asheville. Food and service were both exceptional. Asheville has a lot of unique restaurants, but chose this one on a whim. Glad we did! Four stars because it’s a chain and maybe we got lucky.

I’m part of a business networking group that meets here each Tuesday for a lunch meeting. In the time I’ve been coming here it’s been consistently good. It’s a chain so I can’t classify it as being great but it’s certainly acceptable. What I find most impressive is that being vegan, they have been able to accommodate me with several choices. For the non-vegan folks, there’s a vast selection of appetizers, chicken & ribs, steaks, salads, soups, burgers, and desserts. I can’t imagine someone going there and being disappointed as long as they keep in mind it’s a chain. My only complaint with the place is that it’s not entirely smoke-free. There’s smoking in the bar so if your table is anywhere around the bar, you’ll smell the smoke. Some days it’s not too bad and other days it smokey.
