If you ever see this truck around the Asheville/Hendersonville area, go eat there! It’s a great feeling when food leaves you immensely satisfied. And that is exactly how you will leave Latino Heat. Their chicken and carnitas tacos are delicious and their tortas are where it is at! We had the guacamole chicken torta but you could probably try any of them with success. They even have vegetarian options which is super sweet. Definitely going back whenever I can!

Excellent and authentic tacos! They also have really good tortas, tamales and empanadas. There is a wide variety of meat offered from the standard carnitas, chicken, carne asada, and al pastor, to beef tounge(lengua) and longaniza sausage. Very reasonable prices, $ 8.75 for 3 tacos. The lady that runs the truck is very nice, but expect a bit of a language barrier if you want to stray from the normal offerings on the menu(unless you speak Spanish, of course). I have also had the torta cubana, which was huge and delicious. They are normally parked at the Citi Stop on Sweeten Creek and Rock Hill Road, so if you see it, be sure to give it a try.
