Fantastic burgers and responsibly made. Gluten free options make this place amazing. No doubt this is a great option for a friends or family dinner.

I can’t get over how nice the people here are. Love the picnic tables. Open and bright environment. Oh and the burgers are great. I build my own burger with a gluten free bun. Best gluten free bun on earth. I’ve tried many! This is where I go to satisfy my pregnant lady cravings.

You can taste the difference! With a fantastic selection of brew and friendly service, this burger place is a must stop when you are in Asheville. And let’s not forget the Parmesan fires. They might be the best fries I’ve ever had. I can only hope they open a place in Charlotte, NC.

We were driving from Nashville to Raleigh to escape Winterstorm Jonas and Farm Burger was the perfect place for us to stop on a cold, wintery night at 9pm to grab a bite to eat. At Farm Burger, all of the ingredients are local and organic and the lists of farms on the chalkboards tell you exactly where all the ingredients are from. I opted for a hamburger with the house mustard, lettuce, tomato and onion and a side of fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and so juicy and fresh. I also sampled a hush puppie from one of my friend’s orders and it was heavenly. The menu also had local beers on draft and I loved how everything at Farm Burger was healthy and displayed so nicely. The ice tea was served in glass jars and there are no processed items in the lineup. The tables have a huge roll of paper towels and you will need it to soak up the juice from the burger! Everything was served in a basket with paper and a friendly server brought out all the food from the kitchen. I will come back here when in Asheville and am so happy we stopped here instead of a fast-food chain. We had farm-fresh food prepared fresh for about $ 10 a person.

One of the best burgers I have had in a long time! The patties are delicious – well seasoned, well cooked, and absolutely unquestionably freshly ground. Perfection. However, the toppings were really what made this for me. Pork belly, lardon, and bacon? three different delicious pork options to put on my burger? Almost unheard of! I also loved the option to put fresh roasted garlic on my burger. Their aiolis are delicious, great to dip your fries in. I only wish the baskets were a tad bit bigger – their size made it a little difficult to manage the burger, as the the basket was crowded with fries. Not a real complaint – my meal was delicious!

Wow was this place good. The burger was just out of control. The bucket of fries is also amazing. I loved the beef as well as the bread. I highly, highly recommend it. The service is excellent and the ambiance is very nice.

This is one of the best burger places I have been to bar none. And the sides are fantastic as well. I had their boiled peanuts as a side as well as their fries. Great choices for local beer too. The picnic tables give it a relaxed family atmosphere. Go hungry and eat well.

We kept hearing about this joint on our visit to Asheville and finally decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed at all! We set at the bar and were warmly welcomed by the incredibly helpful bar tender. We ended up ordering the regular burger with a bucket of fries. We split the burger and were pleasantly surprised to see they had it halved it for us and placed them in separate baskets for us. I get excited about the little things. It’s those small touches that leave a lasting impression! The burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor! They gave us our sauce on the side, as asked and the bar tender also tossed in his favorite sauce as well, just because! It was a great start to a perfect evening of blue grass & beer!

Man, what a burger. First time here, and holy chomps. The chicken burger with Gouda, jalapeño, crispy fried onions, kale slaw, and sherry-date BBQ sauce was ridiculous. Punch me in the face with flavor! Killer freshness too! Great space, great service, great price, awesome eats. BOOM!

Love the place! Amazing food. Great service. Chill, hippy, wholesome food, local brewery bears, grass-fed red meat, options for white meat eaters, the best homemade ranch sauce, fries freshly cut in front of you if you stand by the kitchen to use the restroom. The only downside, large place but individual size bathroom. Expect a line. Also, my personal disappointment, NO hot drinks served at all. So I had to drink cold water and bear as my first drink of the day. They are in the mountains and this is fall, so I’m still shocked that they don’t offer tea/coffee with their meals. But there are plenty of coffeeshops around the corner. They were nice enough to recommend one so we had coffee at MoCo the motorcycle coffee stand vendor, which was very delicious! Other than that, I had a wonderful experience and a big enough portion to have a meal there and the second half as a meal three hours later, 150 miles away, which tasted just as good. I had the chicken burger, but I should have asked for grilled onions not crispy, and find out if they had whole grain buns for a healthier option. But the kale and the chicken was good enough for my first try.

This place is more bark than bite. Good name. Cool atmosphere. Outstanding patio. Bocce ball inside. Great quality products. And a truck load of attention. The trick is, the burger is just ok. The burger is good, just not great. Sure, it’ll crush a McDonald’s burger, but 5 Guys would hold its own with this one. That’s not what you want. Now the Farm Burger fries are ridiculous(Parmesan, garlic, herbs). I mean, whoa. I didn’t finish the burger so I could eat the fries. Look, if this place were called«Farm Fries», and you got burgers on the side, I’d give it a 5. But it’s not. And a tip: skip the bacon. It’s quality meat or something, but it doesn’t have much flavor.

The ground beef here is the star of the show. We were visiting Asheville for the weekend and hit this place on a Friday night, during the busy fall«leaf» season. We did have a substantial wait in line, which is probably to be expected on a Friday night with good weather during the busy season. I’d guess we waited about 40 minutes in line. We ordered a burger with jalapeños, cheddar, pickles, and the FB sauce. The jalapeños were fresh and hot. The real star was the beef though. We ordered ours medium which we were told would be red in the center. Usually I don’t do red in a burger, but with a place that stakes their reputation on their beef, I was willing to go with their recommendations, and I’m glad I did. The burger actually came out very pink, but not truly red.(There is a huge difference in the two when it comes to ground beef). Perfectly cooked, juicy without being too greasy, and topped with just enough to give it a little something extra, this was an excellent burger. To top it off, this place is a tremendous value. Our burger, with the cheese and toppings was $ 7.75. We got the fries and rings combo basket to share. The fries were very good and the onion rings were huge, thick cut versions. Perfect with the provided dipping sauce and easily enough for two(or more) people to share for $ 4.50. About the wait — you stand in line to order, and people aren’t allowed to «save» seats while you are waiting to order. Some people were grumbling, but this is actually a very efficient way to get a lot of people to be able to sit and eat in a place that isn’t very big. It was less than 10 minutes between when we ordered and when our made to order food was delivered. There was also a mini indoor«nerf» bocce ball game on one side of the restaurant that was keeping several kids occupied. If you like burgers because you like good ground beef, make sure you put this place on your list.

Very creative always fresh and Delicious Fries, they are awesome! Chicken livers on the menu and worth trying. They are yummy w/dipping sauce. The milkshakes are creamy and luxurious. The line can get long but it’s worth the wait. Reasonable prices for the quality of food. It is a casual atmospheric space in a vintage building.

I passed by this burger joint a few times while exploring and decided to give it a try after doing a quick search on Unilocal.I ordered the $ 6.95 build your own burger. I had the vegan burger with onions, lettuce, tomato, paprika mayo, and pickles. The burger was surprisingly very good. The texture of the burger was solid, soft, moist and had a great mix of beans and other ingredients. It’s very different compared to other bean burgers which is why I liked it a lot. The bread was oddly cold but I think that’s because of the veggies. Overall, I’m glad the burger wasn’t expensive for being so filling and flavorful. *I didn’t finish the burger and it still tasted great the following day. Asheville makes good burgers!

I got a Number 4(chicken burg) and I have some bad experiences with chicken or turkey burgs being real dry, but this one was perfect– not hockey puck-esque in the slightest. The BBQ sauce on it was so good I could’ve drank it(I really love sauce, sorry ’bout it). Fries are damn good as well. I really wanted to try one of the adult floats but was so full I couldn’t manage it. Definitely will get one next time!

This place was the last stop on my food tour and man did it BLOWMEAWAY. I’m a self proclaimed burger connoisseur and I have my favorite place back in Jersey, but as of 5÷18÷2015 this place took spot number ONE as my favorite burger ever. We received a mini version of their classic burger. The taste was simply amazing. I could not get enough. The hand cut fries were so fresh and amazing. I wish this place existed in Jersey because I would be a customer every weekend.

Burgers… it can be an overdone meal that is the same from place to place. What makes Farm Burger stands out covers several apsects. First, they have a consise limited menu focusing on just a few key items and working hard to making them well. Second, for«burgers»…the don’t just sell«cow meat», but also Pork, Chicken, and even Veggie options, so something for everyone. Throw in the number of sides/toppings you have have on your burger really allows anyone to create their own burger masterpiece! The fries are«fancied up» and the beer selection is up to date and local. Salads and even Shakes continues to be your traditional burger place, yet something more. The space itself is open and has plenty of seating in addition to outdoor seating. Staff is efficient, on the ball, and friendly. Located just off of the center of town, it is in the center of everything. There is a Locals secret… but I cannot say here… PM if you MUST know…(FYI…mileage may vary)
