Horrible. Dr. Cammarata is mean, has an attitude and I will never go back to them. I’d rather go to NYC where they have real doctors. They don’t care if you’re in agony. No pain meds. A heartbreaking experience. First do no harm doesn’t apply here. BEWARE. You will regret it. I was a healthcare professional. I know a good Dr when I meet one. There are no good doctors in this practice. It’s a joke.

Walk-in’s are welcome! Turns out, I have a stress fracture in my foot so I will be in a boot for a while. Thanks Blue Ridge Bone & Joint! So, this place isn’t the prettiest. It’s a little dated and the people behind the counter seem totally frantic which can make some people uneasy since it is a doctors office. They got me in quickly without too much sitting and waiting. Gave me an x-ray, gave me a boot, and I was on my way. The staff was friendly and it wasn’t the worst experience I have had at the doctors office but I was pleased with the time management on their end. I will be going back in a few weeks to check out my foot and make sure it’s going well!

Good luck! They refuse appointments and are incredibly rude. I have been trying to call for weeks to get a follow up appointment for an injury to my foot and ankle. They refused to switch doctors when he had no times I could come in. Then told me I could only see the doctor I started with even though he had no appointments. So I could come in and get fired from my job or not come in at all. I kept calling and finally got a nice person who informed me the doctor I had been seeing was not even a foot and ankle doctor and scheduled me with another doctor 2 weeks out. So all told I will have waited 5 weeks to get an appointment as my ankle has continuously gotten worse. If you are at urgent care or the er and they do a referral BEG them not to send you here, anywhere but here.

I went and saw Dr Groh for a broken finger. He diagnosed my problem and scheduled surgery for next day. Surgery was excellent and follow up has been very timely and comprehensive. Very pleased with his skill and interpersonal touches. Highly recommend.

I have had a wonderful experience at Blue Ridge Bone and Joint. I went to another practice which misdiagnosed my back pain as ligament inflammation. Less than a week later I could barely walk and went to Blue Ridge’s clinic for a second opinion. I was able to get in very quickly and the receptionists were very warm and friendly. I saw Dr. Burnworth who was very compassionate and understanding. He took x-rays, did an exam and knew right away what to do. He also set me up with an MRI which confirmed a bad bulging disc and herniated disc, as well as an appointment with a spine specialist. Dr. Burnworth called me in 24 hours personally to tell me the results of my MRI rather than making me wait to see the spine specialist. He was very understanding and encouraging as a runner himself, how difficult this pain was and took a lot of time to answer my questions. I also saw Dr. Goebel who was fantastic and so informative. He was very supportive about avoiding surgery and trying physical therapy first. It was so nice to have doctors who are on your side and understand how hard it is to be an injured athlete. I never had to wait long to go back to the exam room or wait for the doctor. They are very efficient here but also really take the time to help you! I highly recommend, I won’t go anywhere else.

Con artist doctor visit. I am still refusing to pay for my visit, and it is a shame my insurance paid this place hundreds of dollars already. «Dr. E» Spent 5 mins talking to me and not really listening as I explained the history of an injury. Doctor had the nerve to disagree with the findings of an actual MRI that I brought with me and told me there was NOTHING that they could do for me. I then went to Southeastern Sports Medicine where the doctor was AMAZING and had nothing but treatment management options including a knee brace, joint injections, PT, and future surgery options
