My wife was so happy with her nails and she’s had many nail experiences to compare it to! Her nails were gorgeous and it made her day. It was a little on the pricey side, but my wife assures me the kind atmosphere and quality of the work is worth the money!

This was my first time coming here. I had a shellac mani and classic pedi. Julie is so sweet and does an amazing job! I will definitely be back!

Great pedi today at Avalon! Clean, modern salon, that is welcoming and professional. Pedi prices range from $ 28 – 50 depending on «add ons». Highly recommend and look forward to returning. I would suggest an appointment as they stay busy and maintain a return clientele.

I highly recommend this nail salon. It is bright, spotless and very well maintained. The owner, Julie, is as sweet and professional as the salon. She never sits still; she floats around picking up and straightening out. She greets each client and is honest about the wait time. I had a very thorough and relaxing pedicure followed by a gel manicure by Julie. My nails were done just as I like and I will definitely make this my regular salon from now on!

The atmosphere here is amazing. I have gotten pedicures from many places in Asheville, but this is by far my favorite place. The girls took their time, and the massage was very thorough and amazing. Definitely recommend!

Julie and team are the best in Asheville. It was my friend’s birthday and her first time getting a mani/​pedi. They treated us like queens. They even stayed way past closing to make sure we were well taken care of. I love the way my nails look!

Great service! I called ahead to check availability and was able to walk in with no wait on a Sunday! Very happy with my pedicure, the message chair and cup of wine was perfect as well. Will be back, highly recommend

Best manicure/​pedicure I’ve ever had. This place is super clean and the staff was awesome. I just got the basic mani/​pedi but it was great. And the leg massage was amazing. The staff was also very attentive to our needs and always made sure we were comfortable. New favorite nail salon in Asheville.

A little on the pricier side but very good work and customer service. They should change the music in there though! Something a little more soothing would be nice. But they were very friendly, offered me water and my nails look great!

I was visiting my sister down in the area, and was in need of a new gel manicure, and decided to grab a pedicure too.
The place is clean and use tub liners (sanitation plus!) And we’re super friendly. I got the owner for my gel mani, and she was so sweet and payed attention to detail.
I had a different girl for my pedicure, and she was very sweet. She understood that I am VERY ticklish on my feet, and only did my heels with a scrubber.
I will definitely be coming back here when I am in the area again!

I just went to Avalon for the first time, and it was incredible. Shannon did my pedicure with the most attention to detail any salon has ever paid me. Also, the best pedicure massage I’ve ever had! Julie, the owner, did my gel manicure. So was so sweet and pleasant, and again just did an incredible job. So often at a salon I feel like I’m being pushed through to make room to the next person; rushed and sloppy. The ladies at Avalon took their time and made me feel like I was actually getting above and beyond my money’s worth. 5 starts all the way!

Good thing we made an appointment because they started turning away walk-​ins. The staff are extremely friendly, especially the owners. My sister and I came for a spa day and we got gel manis and the signature pedis. My sister had chemotherapy which destroyed her nails and she was afraid no one would work on her feet, but she was taken care of and worked on with such finesse that she wants to come back. I highly recommend, but make an appointment. All the staff are great and friendly.

My best experience at a nail salon in Asheville, ever. I have tried several places over the years, high end to low end. Avalon is worth the few extra dollars, my technician Kitzi, spent more than an hour with me, shaping, filing, and taking good care of my cuticles. I got the shellac manicure, and they have some great new colors and only use quality products, like gelish and OPI polish, and nutritious for your cuticles. The owner, Julie is kind and seems to enjoy knowing all the clients. The green tea, wine or water was a nice treat. I went with green tea, next time, wine!

Had a great time at a pre wedding nail party! 5 of us got manis and pedis and were treated like royalty! I’m big on my leg massages and they have a great, long one! An amazing experience that was extremely unique and luxurious!

Found this place while visiting Asheville from Texas (home of 1 billion nail salons) and it stacked big time! Friendly, competent, professional service. If I lived here, this would be my go to salon. I got a pedicure and shellac, both are PERFECT! Thanks y’all!
(P.S. there’s plenty of parking nearby.)

With all the positive Unilocal reviews, and my toes being way overdue for a pedicure, I decided to give this place a try during my Asheville vacay.
First walking in is refreshing. This place is tucked away in a random shopping mall, but when you walk in it feels like you’re at a main street nail boutique.
They offer plenty of soothing packages and the staff were very friendly. I went all out and tried the Cloud 9 pedicure and enjoyed most of it.
There were a few hiccups during my pedicure, which was a bummer. I don’t know if anyone was new or something but first they switched technicians in the middle of my pedicure, so one girl had to pick up where the last person left of, which was awkward. Also, the «hot» stones were luke warm and neither girl have a decent leg/​foot massage… It was more like a light rub, which sounds weird but whatever. I am constantly on my feet at work and really needed more to feel like this was worth it.
I normally wouldn’t care too much for those details but when you’re paying $ 50 for a pedicure, plus tipping, then you expect more.
The end result is still beautiful, and my feet are nice and soft, which is expected with any pedicure. Next time, just stick with the basic package — -it’ll save you money and you’ll feel extra good knowing that.
