Great place for a smoothie. It always seems a bit disorganized behind the counter but the smoothies always come out tasty, even if I have to wait awhile for it to come out

Not much to it, never crowded due to the Panera craze.

Friendly and quick service, delicious smoothies. Got a green smoothie, which was delicious. Next time I will try one of their sliders, they looked yummy!

5 stars for food — 1 star for customer service. I’ll still come back but won’t leave any tips. No name tags but it seems as though the attentiveness and customer satisfaction isn’t there. I like smiling faces and when leaving a $ 2.XX tip (remainder of $ 20 bill) I like the ‘Thanks’ ‘Thank-​you’ or any acknowledgement. The food is ALWAYs top notch here. I’ll keep coming and coming back. I’ll just use my card to avoid the change tips from here on out.
But yes, LOVE my Tropical Smoothie Café customer service aside! Thx for the vegetarian chicken!

Since I moved to the Ashburn area, I needed to find another tropical smoothie location. The hubby and I were in the Herndon area when we were feening for a smoothie and we were right by the Herndon Tropical Smoothie location but we didn’t want to deal with that location. On our way home, we called this Ashburn location to place a to go order for smoothies. I told the worker I would be there in two minutes and he said no problem! When I got there the employees were expecting me and my smoothie was ready! The service at this location is fast and the people are really nice. I will be back to this location and I am very happy with the fast service I received and the quality of my smoothie!

First of all I LOVE their smoothies they are great tase good my issue was just the service. I have a closer Tropical smoothie but its small and this place was bigger and a great setup.
Yesterday I had received in the mail, new tropical smoothie coupons. So of course I took my kids to go get some smoothie because they love it and we go there a lot. As soon as I got to the counter to order my smoothie while holding my coupon. I was ordering the smoothie and had let the cashier know that I had a coupon. I hear mumbling in the back and up come a gentlemen without looking at the coupon tell me that I can’t use it. I had asked «why?» And he said that it was no good it’s old. I told him I had just received it in the mail then he tells a lady in the back that «it’s a new coupon…» I assume she must be a manger or owner. Without apologizing for being so rude with me and abrupt I just ignored the issue. So then the cashier a young boy continues to take my order. The boy had rung me up for an amount that didn’t add up with the coupon. I asked the boy is he sure if it was correct, he said «yes.» I then asked for the recipe and sat down and calculated the amount. The amount was incorrect so I went back to the counter received our smoothie and told the boy the amount wasn’t right. So he stared at the screen trying to figure it out and then the lady who I think is in charge comes up with an attitude asking «what’s going on.» I sat quietly while they try figure it out, she then tells him to that he was suppose to press some button instead of the other then he walks away while she corrects it. Not one moment did she great me or asked you know «may I help you» or any kind of customer service at all. She then gets the correct change puts it on the counter and walked to the back. Even my kids thought the lady was mad and mean. If she was in charge she did not have any customer service at all and apparently her employees take after her and its sad because I have a closer tropical smoothie to me butt I drive their because I like the setup. I work in customer service in fact I use to work in a smoothie store as well in Hawaii. So I would think there be better service like «\I’m sorry ma’am how may I help you, what seems to be the problem or I apologize for the inconvenience we will square this out for you just give us a minute. Instead of ignoring the customer did me wrong then put the money on the counter and walk away. So overall this is a long complaint, yes but my trip to Tropical Smoothie was disappointing and ruined my day completly.
Now I use to live in Hawaii and worked at a Planet Smoothie that tase very much like this and thats why I love their smoothies but the customer service here was just wrong and in Hawaii customer service is everything but then again thats everywhere so its just my experience. If anyone wants to go then I hope you’ll have a better customer service then mine. and the smoothie ofcourse is good.

I love this place, the service is great and very friendly.
Though it may be small even if it’s a café, you have reasonable gaps between tables so you feel roomy and comfortable. I suggest something with bananas and strawberries.

I love this place. I order shakes almost everyday and they gave always been awesome. Give them a try and I guarantee you will love it.

Only had the smoothies here, I’ll have to try their sandwiches and wraps soon. I had the coffee smoothie which tasted great, like a coffee milkshake but not as thick. It took a while to get the smoothie but they had several orders they were completing and the place was packed. Hopefully they hire some more people cause they’ll need it if business is like how it was when I went there.
I think this will be my go to place for smoothies. Their other flavors are good too such as the blimey limey.

I’ve been pondering how to write this review, and I decided to start with this: take everything on the menu… and put it in my mouth. Everything. The sandwiches. The drinks. The flatbreads.
Everything.
I’ve never been to a place where I can legitimately say, without question, that I’ve loved everything I’ve tried. And better yet, every time I go back I find something better.
Turkey Bacon Ranch? Why are so good, so moist and amazing?! Why did I never try you sooner? I bit into you and my brain blue screened, then when I snapped out of my Scrubs-​like flashback fantasy I had to scream «WHAT YEAR IS IT?!» Okay. That MAY be a sliiiiiiight exaggeration, but it’s good. Really good. Chicken pesto flatbread? Jamaican jerk chicken wrap? Good and good. Nothing is bad here.
Of their smoothies, the Sunrise Sunset and Blue Lagoon are easily favs. And they’re HUGE! They could be a meal in their own right.

Just had a Jamaican Jerk Chicken wrap and it was very good! I like the fact that was healthy with fresh ingredients. Got it w/​a banana and now I’m good to go!
A friend got the Hummus Veggie wrap and she said it’s possibly the healthiest wrap she’s ever had.

Do yourself a favor and do NOT just get the smoothies at Tropical Smoothie… while they are excellent, the food is FANTASTIC. Some personal favorites that I’d always recommend are the buffalo chicken wrap, thai chicken wrap, totally turkey, and wasabi roast beef sandwich (the lowest calorie sandwich/​wrap on the menu). I’ve heard the italian sandwich was great as well but have yet to try it! I also do like their breakfast foods; the classic sandwich with sausage is delicious. Next time you’re in for a smoothie, be sure to try some food as well! :-)

I was a huge fan of Robeks until I decided to venture out to Tropical Smoothie. The breakfast is awesome and is served all day. My favorite smoothie is the Mango Magic. Honestly, I have yet to be disappointed by this place.
Finally found another favorite spot with healthy choices!

Tropical Smoothie Café has delicious, healthy smoothies & tasty, satisfying wraps. Try the Jamaican Jerk wrap, it’s delicious. Never had a BAD experience here, but when you order from somewhere 4 – 5 times a week (I worked ½ a mile down the road), your order is bound to get messed up once in a while. I love that they add Splenda to reduce the calories in their smoothies. The owners know me as a regular, and are exceptionally friendly.

Tropical Smoothie has by far the best wraps. Smoothies are excellent as well. I’m definitely a fan

Great spot for lunch on the weekends.
Boars Head meat makes their deli sandwiches and wraps great, but even «Popeye’s Favorite» with spinach, chicken, and bacon is a winner.
Moderate prices for wraps and sandwiches. The VIP card is well worth the added bulk to your wallet. My partner and I can earn something free within 4 or 5 visits!

Have been back several times this summer. This place is now in the heavy rotation for lunch spots.
The Turkey Bacon Ranch sandwich and the Sesame Chicken Salad are definite winners. In fact, I could do a better review if I would try more of the menu, but I’m addicted. Winter will have me trying more of their Boar’s Head soups.
The manager has instituted some clever little loyalty games that can win you a buck or so off your next visit.

No I was not born in the states so I have been shielded from this by bowls of rice and meals sauteed in MSG.
Strawberry banana smoothie! Wraps are full of flavor. Never knew how good it was till I had wraps lacking in sauce and bland insides of mush.
