History

Established in 2008.

Established the Summer of 2008 on Cookman Ave, we open our satellite location on the Asbury Park boardwalk in 2010. Specializing in practical, creative, innovative, modern design for the home. We have recently branched out into printing iconic Asbury Park images on t-​shirts, pillows, coasters, & postcards with a larger selection of memorabilia located at our boardwalk location.

Business Owner

Relocating to Asbury Park from New York City, partners Scott & Gene have long had an interest in design. Scott worked for over a decade in Europe in the fashion industry and Gene has had his own print business for more that 30 years. Gene has printed fabric for interior designers, costumes for many Broadway shows, & the Rockettes. They have joined their talents and their passions into creating a fun shopping experience at both Shelter Home locations.
