Total flashback to the similar business model in California. All kinds of candy under one roof. I usually go for the giant super size candies like the Snicker bar. Or the Tootsie Rolls. They also carry locally made ice cream. A mom and pop store that deserves to be recognized. Pleasant couple. This Olde Arvada area is cute!

Talk about a kid in a candy store. This place is gigantic. My hubby and daughter always have to make a pit stop here when we’re in old town Arvada. Biggest selection of candy I’ve ever seen. They even had my 1 lb Reese’s peanut butter cup. My husband doesn’t think I can eat it in one sitting. Challenge accepted. They have great and different ice cream flavor a– like pear. Mmmm pear :) there’s a little back room with lots of cool paintings. Love this place– it’s like a throw back with a lot of old school candies.

First off, the prices are very high for being an ice cream shop. There are unique flavors, but honestly, to prices are too much! And to make things worse, when they charge you at the register, they gawk at you to see if you left them a tip. The candy are overpriced as well.

Stopped in here after dinner around the corner and it was a very pleasant surprise! The atmosphere is awesome with an old school candy store vibe plus the Elvis ice cream is to die for! My new favorite dessert spot!

Absolutely loved my first experience there. They had some really unique flavors like blueberry ice with granola and chocolate chips called«purple hippie». I went around 7pm and there was no line. Great place for the family because of the connected candy store. I wish I lived closer!

Okay, evidently they don’t realize that not everybody likes rap! SERIOUSLY?! An «old time» ice cream and candy shop playing rap? Yesterday evening during the festival, thought I would get some ice cream. However, I was only there for about 5 min. before I just couldn’t handle it any longer and left! The extremely slow ice cream line was going out the door and candy prices(a fraction of the price elsewhere) were ridiculously high. Pretty sure I won’t be back.

I asked what flavors would make a good«brownie» type of sundae. The guy behind the register pointed to the television screen and grunted«flavors.» Wow… the flavors were’t even that good and it seemed to be over priced. Don’t waste your time going there…

Quaint candy shop with wonderful ice cream. The servings are gigantic so a small is all you need. The texture of the ice cream is so smooth, creamy and melts perfectly in your mouth. We went during some festival taking place in Olde Town Arvada, so the service wasn’t the greatest but the tasty ice cream made up for it.

I liked it a lot. I thought the prices were very reasonable. Especially since the portions were so big. It seemed like quality ingredients. The handsome bearded scooper was very friendly.

Let me just say that I love Olde Town Arvada specifically because they have little places like Scrumptious. My bf and I can walk here from his apartment and it makes me feel like I live in a sweet small town where everyone knows everyone. I like those warm and fuzzy feelings. Aside from that, the ice cream is pretty dead on here. They have all kinds of crazy flavors along with the traditional ones and they are all really good. Last night, I tried the butterscotch caramel sea salt, my bf had the mint oreo, and my kids had the strawberry. All delicious but I would definitely get the strawberry again. Yes, I stole more than a few bites from my kids. There is also a candy store on one side with all of the old fashioned candies I grew up with, it’s fun to walk around and reminisce about the stuff you used to be able to eat without worrying about it going straight to your hips. Their little pig mascot out front also changes colors and themes regularly, which is fun to see. A great little ice cream and candy shop in a great little area.

So, so, so yummy. The sizes are super big though! Honestly, a kid’s size is enough. The place is cute with candy and other things to buy. The floor is kind of jacked up and I almost ate it twice, but I’m a klutz and that didn’t take away from the ice cream or experience.

Their ice cream is fantastic. It’s homemade and you can taste it! I had the Brown Sugar and Pralines and Cream, but apparently they change flavors out a lot so I’ll have to keep coming back. I definitely recommend them! Great service. Great ice cream. Staff is totally friendly. Come here. Bring your friends.

I stopped by for some ice cream(Vanilla) for a party. It was a big hit and every one really liked it and commented on it. I’m not a big ice cream eater but this was very good. The store is interesting although I didn’t have time to really look around. They have a good selection of ice cream and candy. The folks there did a good job for me even though I was asking for something special; I needed 2 quarts and they only have pint containers so they had to fill 4 of them for me, which was done as quickly as possible.

I will say that the candy selection and ice cream are great. But that’s about it. The service was terrible and the guy checking me out was completely out of line and rude. A friend inquired about some of the artwork for sale and asked what paintings were available. He rambled off about five and then motioned for her to make up her mind as quickly as possible. He sighed when she asked questions and was generally really unpleasant. I think customer service is important anywhere — but especially at a CANDYSTORE. How can you be a grouch and choose to work at a place like this? I definitely won’t be back.

Unfortunately, the ice cream here did not live up to the name. I ordered a kid size of the peanut butter oreo flavor and received a heaping cup of it which I determined to be a size small after comparing it with my boyfriend’s order. Much more ice cream than I wanted, especially since it didn’t satisfy me. The texture was lacking in the creamy department, and even on a nice summer day did not melt as I ate it. Something about that threw me off, and I ended up throwing half of it away. Too bad, because I’d been craving good ice cream all day.

This place is cute and fits in nicely on Grandview. We came here after dinner and was looking from some low-fat, sugar free candy to kick our sweet tooth. A few months ago, I would have been in heaven here. They really do have so many things from our youth. But… I am on a sugar free diet right now and was on the hunt for some good sugar free candy… I really only found some suckers and tafy and butterscotch hard candy. I was dissapointed as my friend happily munched on her chocolate ice cream. It was great to walk around in there, super cool and memories with all of the candies that I don’t list because others already had! :)

Was here with Hubs while running an event just outside this store sometime back on Saturday September 15th2012. Man, this candy/ice cream eatery is packed to the MAX with other patrons alike. There are about 8 to 10 flavors of ice cream that afternoon to choose. Hmm. Decisions, decisions, decisions… I opt for Blackberry and Tang Sorbet($ 5). All in all its A-OKAY, not too sweet for my personal tastebud. Might return when needed if we are in this neighborhood. This candy/ice cream eatery reminds me of nostalgic candy/ice cream eatery that I have came across back in the East Coast cities… There are several tables and seats outside Scrumptious if you intend to enjoy your ice cream purchase. @139/2012
