Ralston Park Apartments

I will start with the good: no bedbugs or cockroaches, the new pool is very nice and good location.
The bad: it took almost a year for the new pool to be built, they hired horrible nasty contractors for repainting the buildings, changing the sprinkler system and installing the new washer and dryers. It took entirely way to long to get any of those done and the would always leave a mess behind random trash and shooters tools left behind ect. When I moved out of here the sprinkler system had still yet to be finished after maybe them working on it for 6 months. Keep in mind we received now warning of them changing the system one day I woke up and the ground had been dug up. The building was repainted poorley and numerous spots missing so looks trashy. When the new washer and dryers were installed we needed to purchase a card to load money on which didn’t work half the time anyways. Shortly after they were installed the dryer in our building caught on fire due to them not cleaning out the dryer vents leading outside. The neighbors in general were regular white collar people however we lived next to some bad apples, constantly up all night drinking and doing drugs. My actual unit was OK at first nothing fancy but it served its purpose however after time issues were arising. The heat did not work and after living there for some time and calling for maintenance to have them fix it four times I gave up with them and learned to live in the cold during winter. The water was always cloudy I’m presuming due to old piping. Than the fridge broke I called them to fix it and their way of resolving a broken fridge was to move it further from the wall, which made it worse. They also tried to charge me because my boyfriend was over often so they thought he lived with me so than I felt my privacy was being invaded. Now I’m dealing with skyline property trying to charge me for «unpaid utilities» because their finance people were so far behind I didn’t get billed for that? Do they think I’m stupid and how many other people have they done this too? What crooks! I hope this review has been helpful for anyone out there trying to find a new apartment but Ralston park is not what they perceive it to be and go look elsewhere. On a side note the tiny one bedroom apartment I rented was originally $ 700 it’s now almost $ 1000 now.
