Great tasting beer. Ghost drifter is my favorite. Wish the location was more convenient for me, but it is worth the effort to visit

We really enjoyed this place. They had great beers. We tried the Hefeweizen and the vanilla porter. Good vibe and they were showing the Broncos playoff game inside. There was a wild game food truck parked outside but we didn’t try any food. We couldn’t finish our beers due to sheer exhaustion from ski that day, but we regretted it because they were so good. Really nice bartender too.

I really enjoy every beer in their lineup, and the atmosphere and service are top notch. I’m a wheat beer guy (I know, I know) and their Heliocentric is my favorite of all the brands. The location is in kind of a weird spot, but it’s a warm and friendly environment, both inside and out, and great for families. My favorite brewpub in Denver/​Boulder right now.

One of our favorite brewery’s BUT we now must say goodbye till summer. Why, because some a. hole let his kids run around crazy, jumps in the face of a dog, the dog barks at the unsupervised child, the parent post online how they now fear it’s unsafe for their child so now all dogs are only allowed outside.
Really? We only go to micro brewery’s where we can take our dog. Dogs, kids, all need to coexist without the fear of one or the other being banned. If you do feel unsafe bringing your child to a BAR there’s a lot more places you can choose. Don’t make the establishment change policy because YOUR a d.k.
May I suggest Chucky Cheese.

Well, this was an interesting experience. I started with a flight of beers. At $ 2 a taster, it was a pretty good deal.
The Imperial IPA was really good, as was the scotch ale. The porter was tasty. The Tripel and the Caribbean were alright. My friend got the Hefeweizen and said that it was ordinary.
The tap room is big and has a good sized patio. As it is with breweries here in CO, there was a food truck serving food, and it was a good day to be on the patio.
What really threw me off was the attitude I got from the bartender. When I was served I was asked «whaddya want» — a huge departure from the really friendly unassuming attitude I’ve come to expect from breweries in the metro area. I had a few questions about the hops and yeast used and they were answered rather curtly. It seemed to me that he was more interested in chatting with his regular customers.
Sometime later I asked for a half pour and was told in quite a hostile tone that they don’t serve half pours but this time was okay, and that I should know that the next time I was there. Well, that’s fine and your prerogative, and I said I was okay with a full pour but what exactly did I do to deserve the hostility? The other two bartenders were quite friendly and happy to serve with a smile but I was really thrown off by the other gentleman.
Anyone who lives in Arvada knows that the very best of Denver and Boulder breweries are a 20 — 25 minute drive away. If I want to, I can strap my bike to my car right now and do a loop of 7 Boulder breweries in 2 hours. Broomfield, Westminster, Louisville and Superior are also in the game with some **excellent** selections and so we’re not starved for choice. So my advice? Don’t get cocky. I’m all for small businesses and supporting local establishments but not at the cost of being treated like crap — especially since your full pint pours are not exactly a bargain. There are several other small breweries who wear their passion on their sleeves and make terrific beer, and are happy to share their time with you.
TL;DR — Couple of good beers, good location whole lot of unnecessary attitude.

I am so happy that Arvada is really starting to crack into the beer scene, and so I tried Odyssey over the summer for the first time. Great taproom and decent location. We sat outside and each ordered a flight.
Average beers, nothing spectacular. Most of them tasted a bit flat. But not bad. I definitely enjoyed the cream ale (I think it was nitro.) Maybe I was there on a bad day with low co2, I don’t know.
Not sure that I’d go here frequently, but I haven’t ruled them out yet.

First of all, I love their Psycho Penguin Vanilla Porter! They usually have good specialty beers, too, such as their Fluffy Pumpkin and the Don’t Pout Christmas Stout.
The brewery is off Sheridan and Ralston and is a warehouse type setting; however, the ambience is quite pleasant. They usually are playing music that I enjoy and there’s board games as well as trivia.
I’ve enjoyed chatting with all of the bartenders here as they are all very friendly and sociable.
They don’t serve food but always seem to have a food truck handy.
The place is kid friendly; however, when they first opened, it seemed like the kids were running around pretty much taking over the place, which scared me off at first, but I’ve noticed the last several times I’ve been there that it’s not the case anymore, which is nice.
They have patio seating as well as ample indoor seating.

Only had one beer, the Clan… something? It was the end of a long day but it was delicious. Had some lovely comic book art on the wall. Great atmosphere too.

Great local brewery! A great brewery needs to start with great beer, and Odyssey has that down with their core lineup of beers. The Psycho Penguin Vanilla Porter is the perfect example of the style, and a beer I always find myself coming back to. Clan Warrior, their Scotch ale, is super malty and packs a great punch, and their Ghost Drifter pale is a nice, moderately hopped and rereshing brew. I’m not the biggest Hefeweizen fan, but their Heliocentric Hef is such a refreshing beer on a hot day…
The atmoshphere here is also great, with friendly staff and a great lineup of food trucks that come through. Inside and outside seating give you nice options and there are plenty of house board games (or you can bring your own, as we often do!)
Overall, a great brewery to have in our neck of the woods, but a worthy destination from Denver as well if you are looking for great beers in a laid back, unpretnetious setting. Love these guys!

This place is one of my favorite brew houses in Denver. They have a pretty steady variety of beers and so far can please just about anyone that I’ve taken there. It gets a bit toasty inside in the summer — so dress cool if it’s over 85 degrees as they are an open air facility, but in the heat it still stays kinda warm. There is parking lot, but some of the neighbors don’t like it if you park on there side, (just a heads up) So be courteous to the other business as we rely on their kindness for continued parking options. Other than that my only complaint — AND IT’S A BIG ONE — is that the brewer only made one batch of «Mango Shandy». Didn’t he know that it would be my favorite and I would like to get some more. Seriously!

I’ve been coming here for about one and a half years. Their standards are always good. But I do like their seasonal and specialty brews. I big fan of their IPA series. Always something tasty. Once they had a Bacon Porter I think. It was so good. I enjoy coming here it’s a fun place very relaxed. The Beertenders are always willing to help you out with a suggestion of you don’t know what you want.

If you bring a Guy into run your trivia he shouldn’t run off your customers. When trivia gets so serious that people are screaming curse words at people in a family establishment then it’s not an environment I want to be in. That guy should be banned from trivia.

Weird location, but I really like this place. It’s right down the street from my house and I imagine I’ll be spending a lot of time there! The beers have been consistently good, and the atmosphere’s cool. They’ve got a good rotation of food trucks there just about every day. Highly recommend.

I ended up finding this hidden jewel in the city of Arvada. I took my dog to the Berkley dog park and said «mmmm what’s around here?» Well, thanks to Unilocal!I found this GRRREAT brewery, super über nice décor, nice art and great bartender. Patio and tap bar dog friendly btw. Try their Psycho Pinguin Vanilla Porter, it’s so yummy you will end up just drinking that. Would go again in a heartbeat.

We had a black IPA, and the scotch ale. The scotch ale is wonderful, as the peppy and friendly beer keep recommended as her favorite. A brewery worth checking out.

they usually have a pretty good rotation of beer options along with some good food trucks outside plenty to keep me entertained with board games and accessories available. Ghost drifter pale is a great addittion to the local hop community

Great Beer. Great Weekly Events. Great Atmosphere.
Odyssey has a nice variety of beers. There is truly something for everyone. My personal favorite is the Ghost Drifter (I like my beer on the hoppy end of the spectrum). But, I really enjoy the Caribbean Lager and banana-​cloveyness of the Heliocentric Hef on days when it is warm enough to sit out on the patio.
It can be a bit of a challenge to find. It will take you a few minutes roaming a business park to spot this place. But, that also means there is tons of free parking and space to lock up your bike.
Mondays are Trivia nights and we are here pretty regularly for these. Free to play. Bring your own grub or order delivery. Always a fun way to spend your evening.
Wednesdays are Discovery Beer Day where Odyssey releases a small-​batch of an experimental beer. These are always fun.
Wednesdays & Saturdays Odyssey has live music in the brewery and most nights they have food trucks.
Once a month, there is a Brewery Bike Crawl in conjunction with Yak & Yeti Brewery. And, occasionally they have board game nights.
They are regularly looking for volunteers to help with canning their beer, so check that out if you have some free time and would like some free brew.
This place is just a lot of fun. The folks that work and pour here are always friendly. And, there is always some fun activity to participate in, solo or with friends.

Arvada keeps getting pretty impressive breweries! Odyssey is no exception at all! The place is tucked away in a business park right off of Sheridan.
The bartender was extremely congenial which always is a plus!
I got two tasters here since the day I was here was one of those marathon days of hitting several breweries!
Here though instead of getting just one type of beer and writing about it I had to succumb to tasting two different kinds because I enjoyed their beer that much!
To start with I got the Ghost Drifter Pale Ale which was awesome! The hops were not too bitter but the beer had a resounding flavor to it!
My second choice was the Perpetual Darkness Belgian Black which ALSO had a wonderful smoothness and flavor to it as well!
I would love to come back and look forward to seeing what brews they will make in the future!

Odyssey was our last stop on a mini-​brewery tour day this past weekend and I’m glad we saved it for last because it was quite a pleasant surprise!
After driving past a long series of warehouses, you’ll find Odyssey at the very end (alas, no Odysseus, though… darn it!) This place is huge: very large tap room with a beautiful hardwood bar area, many tables, and an excellent patio with plenty of umbrellas (that last bit is very important to an über pale white girl… patios are great, but let’s just make sure I make it out of that situation alive and not lobster red).
My friends and I were lucky enough to snag a patio table after grabbing a few beers. Usually I go for a flight sampler, but I was only feeling brave enough for one more beer for the day. So I opted for the ESB, my bière du jour. Sadly I can’t remember what my friends ordered, but I made sure to sip a bit of everyone’s choices. And all I can say is: awesome! Each beer has a nice bold flavor!
Unfortunately I cannot wax poetic about the beers right at this moment, but I can say that I loved this place and the brews. Odyssey was a huge surprise for me, having not even heard of the place before last week. The space is fantastic and will be most excellent to hang out at on a warm summer’s day. And of course, the beers were strong and flavorful.
Pack a bag and make a trip over to Odyssey, stat!
