Kneaders

I have eaten at Kneaders four times and have nothing but good to say about the food and service. The last time, I went through the drive through, which took perhaps five minutes from start to finish and it was during the lunch hour. The french dip is loaded with meat, so obviously they improved on that issue from last year. My husband did order Reuben and found it a bit skimpy on the meat, so marked that off of his list. The turkey, bacon and avocado is always stuffed full of turkey, etc. I love the table service, the staff is always pleasant, the restaurant is very clean. Some times, the place is so packed, it is difficult to find a table.

This place has mediocre food and really slow service. I think I was in the drive-​thru for 20 minutes. Next time, I’ll just go to Panera Bread up the street.

Well, never again. I’ve tried it three times, all spaced months apart. This has to be the the slowest service in the entire Denver metro area, and it is Expensive. Today, I ordered a turkey sandwich with a tiny cup of soup and small iced tea. $ 11.42!!! The wait between putting in the order and getting it was 22 minutes IN THE DRIVE THRU. One morning I went thru the drive thru and only ordered a hot chocolate. It took eight minutes and I was the only one there. I’m definitely done.

I haven’t had an issue with the speed of service. No slower than going to Paneras. Then again, I have been there during odd times. I noticed that someone stated that Kneaders was not a chain. It is, it is just new to Colorado. The fist time there I had the potato soup and really enjoyed it. Their bread pudding is awesome. I got the French dip the second time and will have to agree with other reviews that the sandwich was almost all bread. It needed more meat for sure. There coffee is only OK.

The food is adequate but the service is horrible. Very slow and not good communication between the kitchen and the front counter regarding what is available and what is not available. To make matters worse the manager at the time we were there was rude to a number of customers — almost like the customers were putting him out to check for availability of certain menu items. Rather then apologize the manager blamed his staff. I felt sorry for the people that have to work for that guy. All in all I will stay away from this place.

This place has been open for a little while now and yet they’re still pretty slow in preparing your food. The breakfast and baked goods are good but the amount of time it takes to receive your food is long. Do go if you have time to wait or if you only want to pick up baked goods.

Lots of yummy bakery options. I got the pesto chicken panini and loved it. The double chocolate brownie was amazing. The staff was very friendly, the place was clean. Nice atmosphere for a lunch.

Breakfast here is extraordinary as long as you discount service speed. Sandwiches are horrendous. There is no meat on the panini’ sand they aren’t cheap. Pathetic miss. Two slices of paper thin pastrami on the Reuben. Two slices of paper thin beef on french dip. Service is bad.

Not worth the money. Hardly any meat to speak if on the sandwiches; seriously, only two very thin slices of meat. Not even enough to taste. The kids grilled was ok, it was practically dripping in butter.

Clean. Nice atmosphere. Good customer service. Good food. I’ve only been to another kneaders once (I think it was in Arizona?) I was blown away by the cupcakes. I guess maybe the menus vary by location but the selection here seemed a lot less that the last place I was at. But I took some eclairs and a piece of cake anyway! The cupcakes are kind of a funny anniversary story from vegas. I was hoping to get some, but I still wasn’t disappointed in my order. If anyone reads this… More cupcake variety please!

Friendly staff. They were very patient and help us with our selection as this was our first visit. The taste is unique and the gift shop is charming. We were very tempted by the cookies and other snacks.

I just had the BLT on Asiago bread. It was good, not great but good. The double fudge brownie that i got as my choice of pastry was awful, not edible. It was like boxed Walmart bakery quality, sicky sweet, not homemade tasting. I would come back for another sandwich maybe but definitely not for something sweet. Feeling meh.

Yummy breakfast for our first visit. Chunky French toast, egg & sausage croissant, Carmel trap & fruit smoothie. Staff was very friendly. The outside patio is wonderful. However the fireplace in side will be nice in winter. The drive thru will be nice for on the go.

Great food, however we have gone through the drive-​thru twice now and each time the customer service has been very unfriendly.

Meh, found this ancient, black hot lettuce on my sandwich and it ruined the rest of my meal. The staff seemed very confused and the menu offers very little explanations or descriptions of the food. The layout of the restaurant is bizarre sort of like the weird love child of a Hobby Lobby and Panera romance.
Baked goods looked good, but was too grossed out to try one.

They’re pastries are pretty good, but apparently Roast Beef is supposed to be white now?

I tried them for lunch today. I ordered a French dip, fruit salad, and iced tea with extra ice. The sandwich had very little roast beef, the fruit salad was far from ripe, and the tea was good once I got it home and added ice to the few cubes that melted immediately. Service was friendly, but I don’t think I’ll go there again. The food was «meh.»

I was super excited to try this place. As in, I tried to go there twice before they had even opened. Alas, they were still training employees. To be fair, I’m super pregnant and love me some breakfast food. Today I finally got to try them out and while I was pleased with the customer service the food fell flat. I had a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich served on a croissant. The sandwich was poorly assembled, read: sloppy. Worst of all, the egg was undercooked. I don’t mean the yolk was runny… The WHITES were runny. That’s kind of gross, and also borderline unsafe.

Going to Kneaders for brunch on their opening weekend probably wasn’t our best idea, but we were excited for a new breakfast option in what really is a breakfast desert.
We were more than fine to stand in line for a bit as everyone in the neighborhood clearly had the same idea as us. At least we had plenty to look at. In the center of the restaurant is a large double-​sided display unit full of what can only be described as American kitsch. Apparently you can pick out an assortment of these, ahem, lovely items, and they’ll wrap it up in a gift basket for you. Perfect for Mother’s Day… if you hate your mother.
But I digress, I ordered the Greek omelette and added on a cup of fruit and an iced coffee for $ 2.99. Husband ordered the sausage croissant breakfast sandwich, cinnamon roll, and a mocha (because he’s a growing boy). They took our order and our name and told us it would be right out, which was very confusing to me as I wasn’t quite sure how the heck they planned on finding us once our food was ready.
Luckily, we got a table right by the cashier so we could spot our food coming out, which it did… eventually. Now I know it’s their first week, but it’s not like they are the first every fast-​casual restaurant. It’s not freakin’ rocket science. The poor bus boy walked by us several times asking if we had ordered the mango smoothie? (No.) French toast? (No.) Poor guy. It would make much more sense if they gave you one of those little order flags like pretty much every other fast casual place. Maybe they are still waiting for that box to arrive…
Once we did get our food husband was immediately even more grumpy than he usually is in the morning because the cinnamon roll came out cold. Yup, all they did was scoop it onto the plate and plop it down on the table. Even Starbucks offers to heat up their pastries. Although if they had heated up the roll, it still would have tasted like something we could have gotten across the street from Kings Soopers. For a place that prides itself on it’s bread, I would’ve expected way better.
My omelette was fine, nothing special that I would ever order again. I didn’t finish it (which is weird for me). Fruit salad was typical fruit salad (lot’s of honey dew and red grapes with a couple pieces of strawberry, cantaloupe, and one piece of pineapple).
You’ll notice that I’ve said nothing about our coffees. That’s because we were able to finish our entire meal before my husband’s mocha (essentially super sweet hot chocolate with some espresso waved over top) arrived. No iced coffee for me apparently. Even though my coffee was clearly on our receipt, it didn’t make it onto the order ticket. I will chalk that up to their opening week, and the friendly server did apologize and bring my coffee out right away. If you’re craving iced coffee, don’t bother. It’s about 8 oz of crushed ice with 4 oz of «meh» coffee.
Again, some of these issues were because it was their opening week, but that doesn’t excuse super forgettable food. We have no desire to go back.* We both agreed that Panera (which my husband doesn’t even like) is better.
*I will say that some of their pastries looked delicious, but I can’t imagine myself making a special trip just to pick up a piece of cheesecake.

Wow, great food! This is new in the area and they did it right. Everything was well made and delicious. Service was good and the employees were friendly and helpful. We will be back.
