It’s too bad the other person reviewing had a bad experience. I didn’t see that assistant when I was there so hopefully she’s gone. I’ve been searching for a good dentist for a long time and I believe I’ve finally found one! I usually schedule my appts for the first opening in the morning. When I got there 20 minutes prior to the appointment there wasn’t anyone there so I had to wait until 5 minutes before my appointment, which was fine. just need patience. This office is a lot smaller than some of the big dentist offices with multiple dentists and assistants so it was a little quieter and more intimate than I’m used to, but I liked it. I felt like all the attention was on me and not a lot of noise interruptions. After getting my X-rays, the dentist took his time looking over my teeth that need work and answering my questions. You could tell he was really focused on getting everything right. My cleaning was awesome! I can’t tell you how long it’s been since I had a ‘real’ cleaning from the dentist. He used the water pic and did a great job getting under my gums, not just some olé dentist polishing my teeth in a hurry. This guy has been in practice for a long time and I can see why, he’s great at what he does and it’s hard to find a nice peaceful office where the dentist isn’t running back and fourth room to room. I would highly recommend giving him a shot. He’s worth the wait :)

I am not sure what happened on the day reviewer Shauna had her teeth cleaned, because her experience is NOT what I have received in the 20+ years I have been visiting Dr. Lodl’s office. His staff has always been friendly, attentive, expertly trained and never have I had a painful or bad experience having my teeth cleaned, x rays taken, or minor repairs performed. Dr. Lodl always takes the time to talk with me and address any issues each time I visit, his prices are fair, and he has never tried to sell me extra services or things I didn’t need. Example: I just had my teeth cleaned today, and it was a very pleasant experience. I asked Dr. Lodl about helping a friend of mine who had chipped a tooth but is currently cash strapped. Dr. Lodl listened to what I had to say, asked pertinent questions, and gave very sound advice for my friend, and providing good options for what my friend should do next. All of the dental assistants who have cleaned my teeth have been professional, courteous, and knowledgable about my chart upon arrival. They tell you what procedure they are going to do before they do it(such as «I’m going to use this tool now to pick off some of the plaque in the back molars») and check in to make sure you are not uncomfortable. They ask if I have any concerns and check if I’ve had any changes in health since my last visit. I almost equate it to going to a dental spa more than a doctor’s visit. Everyone can have a bad day, and maybe Dr. Lodl had a substitute assistant in the office the day Shauna visited. I love Dr. Lodl and his staff, and I give them my highest recommendation. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I went here in hopes of finding a family dentist and I do not recommend it. I first arrived for my appointment 15 min early and no one was at the front desk, I waited for a few min to see if anyone showed up and no one did. After I started to be incredibly loud and obnoxious someone finally came, this was annoying especially since I heard people back there. The lady and dentist seemed to not have any interest in assisting me at all. When I finally went back into the office the lady did not know what she was doing and was acting very odd. First of all she was really sick and I personally was uncomfortable having someone who is sick poke around my mouth. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and continued to let her try to do her job. The dentist came in only once took a quick look than left. While this woman was doing whatever she was doing to my poor teeth she kept falling asleep than waking up, she would occasionally slur some murdered words than continue picking at my teeth. Towards the end I figured out she was high on pain pills on top of being sick. So after not being assisted from the beginning, barely being spoken to by the dentist and having his assistant pass out while she’s poking at my teeth because she was sick and high I do not recommend going here. I was hoping for a much better safer experience.

I have been going to Dr Lodl for about 10 years now & would not trust my teeth to anyone else. He is the best Dentist there is. Dr Jeffery Lodl has more awards in dentistry then anyone & I can see why. He combines both the art & science of dentistry. He does everything in his small private practice office, making his own crowns and caps, rather than sending them off to a dental lab, he will do several different procedures in one visit, rather than having to go back several times. And when he has to give a shot, I could not even feel the needle going into my gums.
