I had a great facial, hand and foot massage last night. Very, very good. No one talked through the whole thing, which is important. Owner was very nice and explained membership, for which I signed up. Its a month to month with a 30 day cancelation clause. You can have other family members use your«month» plus they get 2 discounted rates if they come with you for their own treatments, which will be great for my husband and daughter. Massage Envy doesn’t offer this and locks you in for a year. I scheduled my next appt., and got points toward a free massage for doing that. So far, so good. They try really hard to make it a personal experience with excellent customer service. Oasis Spa is close-by in Arvada has a nice facility with good therapists and estheticians, but I’ve never felt like anyone really cared if I was there or not. You’re on your own roaming around that place. This feels more like a small biz where people want your business and make you feel welcome.

The massage itself is excellent. I do resent paying an extra $ 15 for a scalp massage and an extra $ 15 for a foot massage that just gets rolled into the same hour I’m already paying for. That was not appreciated. Also they charge $ 50 for introductory massage, and in my case I did get a high-pressure sales pitch at the end. Not very incongruent with the whole wellness experience to have somebody telling you«I can waive the $ 40 fee today but only today blah blah blah» I know they need to have a constant cash flow but charging $ 90 for a nonmembership massage is just begging me to find an independent contractor who will get to take all the money for themselves versus a modest salary and any gratuity I threw their way. Plus, instead of letting you put the tip on the receipt they specifically ask you out loud in front of everyone what you want to pay as a gratuity. That is poor taste and obvious and transparent. Not going to help with business. It is definitely good to tip your therapist, and I could see the effect it had because the person after me tipped the exact same amount that I did. It’s just a very uncomfortable way to finish a relaxing experience. The sales pitch creates a scarcity mindset and a feeling of inadequacy and is uncalled for in my humble opinion.

I really enjoyed this place. It was clean. It was quiet. Great customer service. Asked me what I wanted. I was offered the membership but I wasn’t interested. But I’ll definitely return here and there.

Edited: After being a member now for over a year, I have had the chance to see many different people here and have many different services done and I am always very happy. I am not one to sign up for memberships like theirs, but after several great massages where nobody pushed the membership on me(«Are you a member?» «No.» «Okay, your total today is…») I decided to ask on my own. I am a busy mom and appreciate the hours and price of this place. It has built in «me time» for me. Everyone so far(I’ve seen 5 people total there) has been extremely nice and professional. The environment is perhaps a bit«sterile» — but it’s clean, pretty and my eyes are closed the entire time enjoying my pampering anyway.

I absolutely love them! David and his staff have great customer service, and the customer is always right. The facials are the best EVER… it leaves my skin smooth and refreshed and healthy and much-needed in Colorado! Each person I have had for facials has been great. They are not pushy about add-ons or anything else, and I do go for massage for relaxation — if I need medical attention, Larry P, I see my chiropracter, just saying. So I do a membership here and the price is just right for the relaxation I need. I can get my husband in on that membership with gift cards, and it is perfect for him. The location is perfect for us too since we have two small kids and have to take turns. The only thing I dislike is that my favorite massage therapist left, and turn over is high but it is at any place I used to get massages unless you to go a small business(ie. sole proprietor or partnership). In any case, give them a try– ask for David when you book and he can tell you about each massage therapist to fit your needs/wants. Ahhh… now, relax!

Massages are really great. However this place is all about signing a contract when you leave. BEWAREANDREAD their contract because they will not explain all the details. Shocking I know. Member pricing is pretty equal to massage prices across the board in the Denver area.

I get my facials done by Jorja. She’s amazing and knows her products well. I also get waxing services done all the ladies are good and are gentle with sensitive skin. I had my recent massage with a mini cold stone face massage with Mia. Absolutely love her!

I was a member here briefly but the terms are deceiving and services not really worth the money they charge. For instance, once I realized the quality of massages I was getting from a majority of the masseuses was below par either because they didn’t listen to my requests or talked during my ENTIRE massage, I cancelled. They then proceeded to tell me that even though I was canceling well within the cancellation terms they were still going to charge me 2 more times, to which I said«no, that is not what my signed agreement says.» I had it in writing. That being said I tried to book my last paid for service and was told, «sorry, you only have 30 days after the last charge-that was in your agreement.» Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get in within the 30 days because I travel a lot then I got sick & they neglected to ever«point» that out. I’ll never go back & for sure NEVER sign up for prepaid membership!

The staff truly cares that you have a great experience. I never feel they are pushy in the sales area. I’ve seen Liz twice now, once for deep tissue and once for hot stone. She’s got mad skill. I need to do hot stone more often. I’ve also had a pumpkin facial and it was really nice. It’s a nice ambience. Clean and quiet and relaxing.

I went in for a massage here recently because I had a coupon for half off of an introductory massage. The facility is very nice and the staff was friendly, overall a lovely atmosphere. They were a little pushy about their add ons and membership, but I was never uncomfortable. As for the massage itself, it was just okay. I’ve had some severe tension in my back and body and was really hoping that this might alleviate it. I requested a deep tissue and this felt more like a Swedish. The techniques used on me felt quite lackluster and uneven and although it was supposed to be a full body massage, key areas were completely ignored such as my feet, IT bands, sides of my neck, hips, knees and pectorals. I realize that this was just one of many therapists that work here, but when you go in looking for a therapeutic experience and you get a massage that«just feels good,» it’s a big disappointment. I guess you get what you pay for here, but I’ve had much better massages than this.
