Our van broke down and we are relatively new to the area. I care for a little girl with a rare neurological disorder and leaving my vehicle or even leaving while I care for her is a huge inconvenience. On top of the fact, if there is an emergency I didn’t have my vehicle to be able to transport or pick her up in the event she had an emergency at school. I looked for a «mobile» mechanic and Grant came up. He wasn’t available at first right away so I had to tow the vehicle to a repair shop that guaranteed me «honest, reliable, quick service». It turned out to be the starter and I was given a quote from the «honest reliable wanted to earn my business» mechanic to the tune of $ 508.46. Clearly we are in times of financial strife as every other person in America. I called Grant Auto Repair just to get advice as I knew I was being price gauged and also to see if he’d be available today to assist. I also contacted my roadside and unfortunately for me, it only covered one tow per breakdown and I was stuck in a rut for a short period of time. Grant not only picked up my vehicle, after the «honest» mechanic charged me $ 49.50 for a diagnostic test, but he also had my car ready TWO hours after he picked it up. The best part was the cost was HALF of what I was quoted and my van is back on the road in great condition. My husband and I have now found our vehicles «doctor» for the future! I’m a firm believer in paying it forward and try to do so daily. I’m not just appreciative of Grant Auto Body but in this day and age it’s hard to find HONEST, RELIABLE people you can trust to not just do a job but do it right.
