Discount Tire Store – Arvada, CO

For the most part, so far so good. I’ve gone in twice to have tires patched for slow leaks, and it was painless (albeit an hour wait). FYI, this store won’t make appointments for slow leaks or changing tires. (I’ve tried several times, and each time they told me to just come by).
I was rubbed a little the wrong way when I went in last winter for snow tires, and the guy told me they only had one type of tire left, without much giving me anything further, including any info. on the only tires they had left. However, the customer in line after me (an older gentleman) got a thorough description complete with photos and specs. I understand that I only had one option, but I feel like they took one look at me (30-​something female) and didn’t bother giving me info. or options before I spent hundreds of dollars.

Been here several times since we moved to CO and these guys have always been professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I usually make my appointments online and have never a bad experience. There have even been a couple times when I was even surprised to walk out without paying anything for minor tire services. Last spring I had tires installed on a set of fairly expensive rims and the manager did it himself to make sure it was done right. I’ll be back in the spring to do it again.

My family has been going to this location for years and we consistently receive excellent customer service and care! The staff are so genuinely kind and go above and beyond to accommodate you. We have purchased all of our tires from them and highly recommend them to friends and family. The staff is knowledgeable and the service is quick. I would highly recommend you give them a try!

I found a large screw in my tire last night (a gift from the parking lot for where I work) and limped in to Discount Tire at 64^th & Simms this morning. I figured that the tire was shot (looked like a lag bolt with a large washer). The tires have a lot of life left in them, but since they are on a 4X4, all would need to be replaced if the flat tire was unrepairable. Jason and the team took great care of me, got the tire repaired and me back on the road. No cost, done in less than 30 minutes. I have always bought my tires there, but this set were on the truck when I bought it a couple of years ago. No issue, they covered it under my existing road hazard warranty for my other vehicles. Thanks Discount Tire for getting my stressful situation resolved quickly and painlessly.

As always, great service here. I won’t buy tires anywhere else.

I have used this store for about 20 years and have never experienced anything but respect and good customer service here. Recently, my daughter made a trip to and from California in rough weather and managed to bend up both front wheels of her Toyota along the way. She took the unit to this store and Josh, the Manager, replaced both front wheels with aftermarket wheels to keep her on the road, meanwhile factory wheels were ordered. This Saturday the boys replaced and balanced the new factory wheels and did not charge a cent. I can say from multiple experiences that this is a Great Place to do business!

I got my tires installed months ago, as well as tires for past vehicles I have owned. It seems like if you are purchasing new tires the agents are more likely to fit you in for a convenient time slot. When you buy tires from Discount Tire and have them install them it comes with lifetime rotations.
However there is a catch 22, it is tough as nails to have the agent actually schedule you for a rotation. Every time I have attempted a tire rotation I get this attitude like, «You are not buying anything, then we have no need for you to be here!» I already spent $ 1200 on tires the last time I was here and that was only for one of the 3 vehicles that we own.
I called this Arvada store and the agent said to me on the phone, «Just come on in», I kept trying to make an appointment but he insisted that I just come into the store. So within 30 minutes I went to the store. I get there and the guy at the counter tells me, «oh it looks like we are all booked up for the day it may be about 4 – 5 hours, you weren’t planning on waiting for the car were you?» Yes, actually I was, its a tire rotation, and you have pneumatic tools. I said to him well why didn’t the agent on the phone just let me know you were booked, I would of not wasted my time stopping in without an appointment. Needless to say still no tire rotation and no appointment, unless I wanted to waste my entire afternoon there.
Moral of the story is I will purchase my tires from WWW​.TIR​ERACK​.COM and go to a professional business that actually has customer service and will do a lifetime rotation for me hassle free, with an appropriate appointment. I believe this concludes my LIFETIME business with Discount Tire.
And one more thing it is hard to call your business ‘discount anything’ if nothing is really discounted!

The second chapter in my weekend Discount Tire saga (read the first chapter free:
), this store came short of the mark from their sister store on Wadsworth, but was up against some stiff competition in the service department.
First of all, I can’t be the only one who had a hard time finding this store. The Unilocal app on my phone was no help, but Google stepped in and directed me to 11 707 Ralston Rd, three blocks West of 64^th and Simms (great, now I know what Tom Shane feels like).
Once I got there, I was greeted to the sight I’d anticipated at the previous store: a line of anxious customers. But within a couple minutes, the service rep was able to talk to me about my flat and getting it replaced. A little on the sarcastic side, but not in a surly way, the guy took a look at my warranty, popped the flat out of my trunk, and announced it would be a mere $ 12 (due to three months’ wear on the tire) to replace. Sold!
I was promised a wait of «an hour, maybe an hour and fifteen», but the guys in the shop were able to pop off my donut and replace it with a new tire in a little less than that. Not unreasonable for 1 o’clock on a scenic Saturday afternoon.
Had they not been the closest store with my specific make, and had I not wanted to fix the problem then and there – instead of waiting til Monday – I probably never would’ve set foot in this store. And barring any similar circumstances, I don’t think I’ll be making the long and winding road to this particular Discount in the near future. But when I needed them, the guys at this store were able to get me back on the road for what amounted to an hour of my weekend and loose change for a sorely busted piece of rubber. They may not be the Indy 500 road crew, but you won’t hear any complaints here.

Yea, tires, I know, thrilling. Most of the time getting your tires changed out is a time consuming waste of an hour or two… Unless you go to this location of Discount Tire. In fact, don’t because I like being in and out in literally 15 minutes.
Yeah, these guys like to upsell, but I don’t believe in it. You should be changing your tires out regularly enough that it’s not an issue anyway.
