I have been seeing Dr. Flower since my family moved to Colorado when I was 12 years old. I’ve always lived at least 30 minutes from their office, and currently live an hour, but they are so wonderful that I make the drive twice a year for my entire family’s 6 month cleanings. We even lived out of state for a year and a half, and only had to «cheat» on him for one cleaning. Doing some math, Dr. Flower started seeing me when I was 12. He’s watched me grow from a temperamental teenager into a home-owning college graduate, then into a wife and a mother. That’s almost 20 years! In spite of the time I’ve been coming here, the office always seems to have updated equipment and décor, as well as current on the latest in the dental world. My 6 year old son loves coming here for his cleanings! They have a treasure box, of course! I once questioned whether to take him to a pediatric dentist but he’s never been afraid of Janet or Kerri, let alone the doctor, and has never needed more than general cleanings so it’s been great. The doctor used to be my younger brother’s baseball coach in elementary school, and couldn’t help but comment how much my son looks like my brother did way back when. Yes, it’s been that long. Janet, the hygienist, probably knows me better than some of my current closest friends. She watched me plan for college, get married, waddle in during two pregnancies, and has made me promise to bring the babies by after each birth. She remembers all the details of what is going on in my life, including asking after my parents and brother who also still come to this office, so she pretty much knows everything going with them as well already. Sarah, the office manager, is incredible. I’ve had my dental insurance change a half dozen times since the beginning and she’s always been helpful. She too, knows my whole family story and always asks after my children, makes a comment about something cute my son did when he was at their office with Daddy the month before, and is just downright lovely and wonderful. My youngest is almost 2, so we’ll be bringing her by for her 1st check-up soon. And for as long as my family doesn’t have any dental needs beyond 6 month cleanings, then I will happily make the hour drive to stay with this amazing family owned dental practice.
