Specialties

We practice the art of traditional thai massage which involves deep tissue massages with a combination of stretches. Thai massage is different from other massages because it’s considered very therapeutic by stretching and applying pressure to different pressure points to relieve tension and stress. Our expert masseuses have been trained to identify points of tension and recommend a treatment to relieve the stress. We also specialize in other massage techniques such as deep tissue and Swedish massages.

We have a 3 single table private rooms and one family room that can accommodate up to 3 clients at one time. For those wishing to come with 2 or more guests, please make prior reservations so we can hold the room for you.

We also take cleanliness very seriously by changing sheets after every customers so you’ll be getting fresh clean sheets and towels every time. We also disinfect all our slippers and provide clean plastic wrapped towels and amenities for showering.

We are also the only Thai Spa to offer a fully equipped showering facility. We offer this as no charge for our customers. So come after work or after the gym, get a relaxing massage and finish up with a refreshing shower. This is truly the way to rest and relax.

Established in 2008.

R&R Thai Spa was formed to offer the community this ancient form of traditional massage. Our goal is to go beyond the traditional massage business by offering therapeutic thai massage and also combining with Spa-​like feel. All of our massage therapists are certified by the State of California and have been trained in this massage technique.

We are the only Thai Spa location in Artesia and Cerritos, and in order to offer services in this location, we need to keep up with strict standards for the city. We provide legitimate Thai Massage services and maintain our facility to the cleanest of standard. There are others out massages out there, but we are the most competitive that can offer standards such as this.

Me and my cousin love Thai massage. We frequent R&R Thai Spa because it’s relatively close to home. The price is amazing for the massage you get. Request back walking if you like very deep massage. I love it but my cousin goes without the back walking. They do an incredible oil massage and then the hot towels are amazing. After, they stretch you which is my favorite part. I don’t know how these tiny women can crack my back and stay strong throughout the whole massage but they do. I had a very stressful few days and left super relieved today! I will be back again and again. Check in for $ 2 off but tip well. These ladies work extremely hard to get rid of your tension.

I have been getting random massages from different places for years. I usually went to the $ 25 foot massage places, that was until I tried this place! I am hooked on Thai massages! Each time I’ve been is a different experience but I always come out feeling refreshed. They are very detailed oriented and know just what to work on, sometimes they even walk on your back! A-​Freakin-​mazing! They never disappoint, definitely my go to for a great total body reboot.

My father was having major neck and back tension so I decided to book an appointment for him at R&R Thai Spa.
From beginning to end, the service was excellent! Katie, the receptionist, was super sweet and helpful. I called a few times trying to coordinate a time that would work for my dad’s schedule and she was very patient with me. She recommended Lai who was amazing according to my father. He usually does not like massages but told me he wants to come back! Their prices are very reasonable ($ 42 for 1 hour) too.
Thank you R&R Thai Spa! Given my father’s positive experience, I may have to book myself an appointment when I’m in town…

Been here a couple times and in both experiences it has been so relaxing. I love the ambiance of the little lobby and especially the massage room. Soft relaxing music with the dim light. Rooms are very clean. Only one drawback is the parking. If you come in a busy time you’ll have issue with parking. But that won’t defer me from coming back.
Staff are all so sweet. I did a last minute appointment but they were all booked but will call me back if any cancellations. Shortly they called me and squeezed me in. Nini my masseuse was really good!

I’ve been here several times. This visit I got one of the best massages. Jasmine turned me into a human pretzel a couple of times. She also stood on top of me and applied great pressure to my legs and back. I got tenderized pretty good. Absolutely amazing massage! I’m going to ask for Jasmine next time I visit.

I’ve been here a few times and all those times they have done an amazing job! BUT… this last time just a few things bothered me.
1. I got the very first room by the reception area and you can totally hear the receptionist talking. So I couldn’t fully relax. So if and when you do go, request a room more towards the back.
2. The receptionist called my masseuse while she was in the middle of massaging me and she went out there I think that’s very very unprofessional. If it’s not an emergency it can wait.
3. Their system was down and the receptionist didn’t know how to work their app on the IPAD. Understandable things happen BUT it could of been handled in a calmer matter or train the receptionist on everything before leaving her on her own. She did apologize for the inconvenience but still the fact this could have been avoided and not bother any other guest that was there.
I still will be returning here nonetheless. And I do recommend Cindy… she’s great and she listens to your needs.

Came here with a friend for a massage. Rooms are individual, but they have one with three beds — a curtain separates two from the other bed, so you can do a couples massage if you wish. Location is small but clean. We had an appointment but had to wait a bit because we wanted the shared room and they needed to clean it out after the people before us left. The woman at the front desk was very nice — she said she would come and check up on us after 10 minutes. She said if we were not happy with the massage, we could either switch out our masseuse or get a refund, which sounded good to me. I liked that she also finds out what pressure you like in the beginning and relays the message to the masseuses.
There were only women working the night I came, which was good bc I always request a female. The massage was pretty good — I declined to have her walk on my back. I requested a light to medium touch, which is what I got. The scalp massage felt nice. She did put some pressure on my face, but I quickly told her to stop since I have sensitive skin, which she did.
Overall, a good massage for $ 40 — it’s a step up from foot massage places (you actually lay on a bed and remove your clothing) and the staff is friendly.

After reading the comment from the owner, I have decided to come back here and give this place another try, and I was very pleased with the service this time.
The receptionist realized that I was not entirely satsified with the massage the first time around, so she explained to me again that their masseuses were instructed to not apply too much pressure unless asked by the customers, which made total sense to me because not everyone wants to feel pain. She even came and checked on me 15 minutes into the session to see if everything was okay.
I asked for Lai this time and I could tell she focused more on my neck/​shoulder area because I told her that’s where I feel the most tightness. I also felt more pain this time but I didn’t mind, because I know it’s an indication that she was applying more pressure. The morning after the massage, the tightness and pain around my shoulder and back were replaced by slightness soreness, which gradually disappeared in a few days. Now I feel very good.
Few days after my second massage, the owner messaged me and wanted to see if I was satsified this time. It made me feel that they really care about their customers and wanted everyone to be well taken care of.
I would strongly recommend this place. Just remember to ask for more pressure if that’s what you need!

Came to this place for the first time yesterday. I asked for Jenny since her name appeared in several of the positive reviews. She started off asking me where I was hurting and I answered mainly the neck and shoulder. I thought she would then focus more in those areas but I was wrong, she still allocated the hour session evenly throughout the body.
During the one hour massage I felt mostly gentle rubbing/​stretching and not much pain, which was very comfortable and relaxing. BUT not much pain could mean either the masseuse was very good OR she simply wasn’t giving enough pressure, and it turned out to be the latter… Today I woke up with the same neck/​shoulder pain as before, which tells me not enough pressure was applied there to release the tension.
Yeah one may say it was my own fault for not asking for more pressure, but you would think an experienced masseuse should notice how much tension had built up in my neck/​shoulder area and treat it accordingly.
I rated this place 3-​star because at least I got an hour long of relaxing massage, but I am still pretty disappointed in the fact that now I have to look for another place which can actually relieve my neck and shoulder pain.

I gave them about 3 tries before writing this and all I could say is that I have mixed feelings about this place.
My 1st visit, I requested for the best girl but she was on vacation and just settled for whoever’s available. Bad idea as the lady said the knot she was trying to fix moved to a different location and she was trying to fix it and it hurt like hell! The area where she messed up on hurt for a good 3 – 4 weeks. She was unsure if she had fixed the knot she messed up and that kind of pissed me off the next day when I started to feel pain in that area.
2nd visit, I had Lai. The massage was excellent and she got all the areas where I was hurting. One of the best massage I’ve had and thought to myself that I finally found what I was looking for.
Unfortunately, after my 3rd visit (2nd visit with Lai), my neck as well as other areas hurts like hell the next day, but I’m more concerned about my neck! It hurts when I turn my head left or right and it caused a bad headache. I was really furious and asked that they fixed it. The owner was nice enough to get it done for free. I felt better after Lai fixed me and was close to suing had I not felt better after a day or 2.
Overall, I would not return and gamble for that one good massage I had because it’s not worth having parts of my body experiencing pain that was never there prior to the massage. I would rather receive a massage where it didn’t feel like anything. I have had Thai massages in other places and this has never happened before. Soreness is fine, but pain is not. I gave 3⁄5 only because the owner and the staff are nice and made sure they corrected the neck pain I never experienced before.

My massage therapist tried his best and was friendly, but it was obvious he was inexperienced, which I find a bit annoying because when I called to book, I asked how long he had been working and there and she said «he’s been here a while». Overall, he didn’t apply much pressure, even though I asked a few times, and he massage was pretty «all over the place» with no real sense of flow.
With a lot of practice, he could become better.
As an aside, They have good tea.

I do not recommend this business to my friends or family. I wholeheartedly regret coming here.
After the deep tissue massage by Alice, my back was BRUISED and I had considerable soft tissue trauma. I sought medical treatment the very next day. I was placed on pain medication and muscle relaxants by a physician.
The back pain didn’t truly kick in until I finished driving home from the massage which was about 15 minutes later. At that time, I called the receptionist to notify her. Not until I got home did I notice the visible bruising to my back and began crying. I am not naïve, but I did reluctantly pay $ 39 for a 1 hour deep tissue massage that I deeply regret. I thought Alice, the masseuse was a trained professional and trusted her. When I repeatedly asked her to lower the pressure, she only eased up for a bit returned to the same pressure again. The masseuse even said she was barely pressing on me and that the pain I felt was just the knot near my spine.
In her reply below, Katie (the owner) insinuates my delayed decision to complain after enduring an uncomfortable and painful massage in some way dampens my claims. However, I have the evidence: photos of the bruising to my back, my medical record and prescriptions, receipts, and call logs from speaking with the R&R Thai Spa receptionist. I hope this never happens to anyone else.

Ironically I’ve been next door to Humphries Orthodontics a couple dozen times but never really took notice of R&R.
Due to typing and mouse use all day, I constantly have bad posture which creates nagging and sometimes sharp shoulder/​back pain. It recently got worse so I scheduled an appointment here. The reception was nice and even let me use my card to tip since it was my first time although new policy states you should tip in cash.
My masseuse and I had a bit of a language barrier and when i asked for more pressure it was perceived as too much pressure. Once we got that squared away, it was much more enjoyable. $ 40/​hr is twice what i was paying at Feet Sole Good but the massages there started lacking and got a bit creepy. Still $ 40 is quite a bargain and worth the relief.
I’ll probably try out different therapists until i find the right one but I definitely plan on coming back soon

I have had a sciatic problem for years, when it hits, I can’t even walk.
Unfotunately, this time it hit while I was visiting family in Cerritos, I went to the first place I could find open on a Sunday looking for a miracle, and a person named Sami actually performed the miracle, I came in moaning in pain helped by a friend and came out walking straight and on my own, very few people I have met can actually fix my back so quick and effectively, Sami knows what she is doing way beyond any mainstream massage place, she knew exactly what I had and how to fix it using all the techniques she knew.

I previously wrote a review about my dissatisfied experience on 8÷5÷15 after Nick’s massage. I was contacted later that day by the owner, who kindly and professionally offered a free 1 hour massage that weekend in order to compensate for my initial visit. I was informed that Nick was still in the process of being trained. I decided to give it another go with a senior masseuse despite some hesitation, since I still had my back pain. I was so pleased with my 2nd experience that I’ve decided to edit my review.
Upon visiting the 2nd time, I was pleasantly greeted. The massage itself was amazing. Lai (I think that was her name) was nothing but attentive to where my tension and pain was. She made sure to communicate with me and I could immediately tell that she had magic fingers. Not once did I feel uncomfortable or any sort of pain during her massage. I would highly recommend her and would definitely return.

50 shades of Gray with a touch of Cirque De Solei.
She has me in these positions, her on top while pulling me in from behind as she lathers me with oil and massages me from head to toe. It hurts but it feels so good, I don’t want her to stop.
It’s our first time meeting and I don’t even know her name. I pay the lady in the front, it’s $ 60.00 for 90 minutes and I’m taken to a private room where I’m asked to undress. I take off my clothes but leave my underwear on. I lay down on the table as I anxiously wait for her to come in.
The lights go dim and I hear the door slowly open…
She wastes no time and takes the southern route. I can’t see a thing but can only feel her soft hands massage every inch of my lower back. She moves even lower, grasping my thighs all the way to the bottom of my feet. I dare not to move, not even an inch.
Briefly she disappears and the room falls silent. I suddenly feel pressure on my lower back and realize she is standing on me with her entire weight on my body. She then asks if she should stop but I tell her to keep going. As I lay on my stomach, she grabs both my arms from behind and gently pulls, she does the same with my legs. She’s in control and I’m submissive to all her request. She slowly moves up and massages my upper back, her kneading technique is perfection. For almost an hour and a half, she pleases my body with her massages in ways I’ve never been pleased before.
As our time together slowly comes to an end, she takes her fingers and begins to massage my head and then my ears. Every moment is pure bliss. As she pulls away from me, I want her to stay but my time is up. She leaves the room. I lay there in complete satisfaction but I still want more. I go after her and tell her that I’ll be back for more, she moves closer and responds with «I’ll be waiting for you «
