Recently switched my auto insurance to PoliSeek via Travelers. I had my home insured with them for a couple of years and decided to shop my auto with them and I was pleasantly surprised by how much money I was able to save. I spoke with someone named Ely and he was able to provide me with a discount for having both policies with the same company. In fact they knocked off almost a hundred bucks off my home for insuring my cars. The service was better than the first time I used PoliSeek. Thanks!

As one of the reviews that is filtered at the moment has stated, the wait on hold for customer service can sometimes be long but the sales department answers quickly. However, once somebody does answer in customer service, they seem to be adequately attentive.
It may be not the best situation to have the sales and service as separate sections but I suppose to have one agent who handles both sales and service would be limited to the smaller agencies. I need an agency that will write insurance in more than one state and for vehicles that are in a special circumstance and Poliseek can do all that I need.
However, I am editing my original review to reflect a recent experience. I probably will not be using them in the future as it feels as if once they sell you the original policies, their service deteriorates from there.

I was referred by a friend who told me how happy they were with Poliseek so I decided to call them up. I didn’t have to wait on hold forever, I got a live person! I spoke with Zack, who had great customer service skills and a very pleasant personality. He was very helpful and answered the million questions that I had. Without hassle, I had new insurance. He suggested home insurance but I told him I would think about it. When I called back to get that insurance I spoke with someone named Mark Chow who was also very pleasant and efficient. He had everything emailed that day. I have had no problems since joining with Poliseek and I would definitely recommend them.

Very confusing operation, and terrible lack of response on emails. I am a new customer I think, but unable to confirm. When attempting to call, my rep (initials VC) actually has the wrong phone number for Poliseek on his email signature line.

Note to George K of Poliseek. I spoke to members of your management team. They possessed the same lack of understanding as everyone else at Poliseek. It makes no sense. I bought 3 policies and paid each one completely in full at the time of purchase. I asked to do the same when I changed cars but the payment was never processed. My history with your company shows that I prefer to pay in full and up front. Thanks to Poliseek I had a gap in coverage for the first time in 38 years and must now deal with all the hassles that ensue because of the gap.

Polyseek agent called me and tells me that they deal with almost every insurance provider and can get me the best price. he quoted me $ ³⁴⁰⁄₆ months for liability insurance on a 2002 accord while progressive charges me $ 237 for 6 months. after i asked him how its possible if he looks at all companies, including progressive, and still get me a price almost double that of what i pay now. he says «what, 237. i dont know, well good luck and thanks for calling us.» by the way, they called me

Getting our vehicle actually insured with Poliseek AIS/​American States Insurance = bureaucratic nightmare.
It seems like every week they are contacting me with a different reason about why they have suspended coverage on our vehicle (first they said we didn’t have our vehicle inspected yet – though we did!, then they’re saying they don’t have photographs). For the past month we’ve been paying them to *not insure us.* (WTF?!) Finally someone was able to confirm that our insurance was resumed, but we have two weeks to get new driver’s licenses from our new state of residence — something that was never mentioned before.
The website is good for nothing. You can barely understand what company you are dealing with, between Poliseek, AIS, and American States Insurance, much less send a letter. Every time you call you have to wait on hold (where an annoying message says to go to the website; duh, I wouldn’t call if I could get it done on the website!).
There are no phone extensions for agents. No one has ever replied to or confirmed an email that I’ve sent to them. Once you get a rep on the phone, they are actually very courteous. Too bad you never talk to the same person twice.
They only get an extra star b/​c we are talking about insurance companies after all. I just want them to actually insure the car; it shouldn’t be this difficult.
Update: MINUS ONE STAR: They threatened to discontinue coverage, but I supplied all the paperwork, so they confirmed that no lapse in coverage occurred. But they informed the DMV that it did. Poliseek has not supplied me with adequate proof of insurance that I need to show the DMV. I requested it over a month ago. They are required by law to provide it, and they haven’t. Now the DMV has given me 7 days before they suspend my registration. At the last minute Poliseek sent the documentation. But it was their error to begin with.
