Went in here to change my watch batteries. Decided to change my fitbit — pedometer battery too.(Over)Charged me $ 10 for a CR2025(small flat battery). I had only asked for the price, but before I knew the guy changed the battery and told me its $ 10. What a ripoff! I took it out of my bag only today(around 15 days after changing the battery) and I see a low battery indicator! No work ethics at all. I’m sure money earned by cheating like this will never last! Wonder how long my watch batteries will last!

This is an okay Indian electronics and other items store. Some of the appliances and electronics are useful for those looking for Indian mixers, carrom boards or Indian cookers. They also have some other appliances but they are usually cheaper at Target or any other department store. I like that they can fix Indian appliances and prices are okay.

We gave our ultra 2-litre grinder for repair due to the slowness, they told me the belt and the pulley needs to be replaced, when I checked the grinder after the repair I thought it is still running slow, owner was not there so I left and came the next day, Puneeth the owner showed us that the grinder is in its normal speed with the grinding stone and we are convinced, owner is very nice but the staff’s are not knowledgable and I have to make an extra trip because of that, they also demanded me to pay first before they can show me the grinder, 4 stars for the rude staff and the price is not that reasonable.

One of the worst shopping experiences ever. The owners are complete criminals and thieves. We went in and were forced to purchase a BTV system that doesn’t work. We were advised that if they were any problems to return the item. We returned the system due to bad picture quality and lack of channels today. The employees first ignored us than refused to not only exchange the product to a Jadoo than refused to give us a refund of the difference of $ 70. We are still here at the store and refuse to leave until we get out money. This place is ran by thieves and con artists. Take your business elsewhere

It is a great shop to buy Cricket Bats, Clothing, Pads, Gloves, etc. They also sell all kinds of indian home living products which your mom might be interested in, like pans, cookers, to bollywood tv boxes. Their price is just right, you are getting quality products here. They are also an authorized dealer for Ray-Ban. I also deal with the owner, he is a great guy, you always feel welcomed when he is around. I would definitely come back to buy more cricket equipment.

We went there yesterday to check out cricket bats. It was late and the store was about to close but they still showed us many bats and went quite a bit into overtime! Punit personally helped us out and his knowledge of cricket is also very good. besides the bats, they had many other cricket gears! This is the only store that I know of in LA area which carries such items.

(The Good: They bait-and-switched me into buying two expensive pressure cookers. While I feel hurt and tricked by this practice, I kind of like the pressure cookers. Anyway… on to…) The bad: On 2÷11÷11, I went into East/West Electronics( Unilocal link) to purchase a Jadoo2 internet-television box. On a previous visit(2÷4÷11), the male clerk told us about the box’s capabilities and how it would allow us to stream international channels to our television through the internet. I specifically voiced reservations about the technology not working due to various reasons(i.e. internet connection type, speed, etc). The clerk repeatedly responded with comments similar to «I have sold this box for 2 years and no one has returned it!» and«If anything does happen, just bring it back and I will make it right for you.» There was no return policy posted in the store, nor was there anything specifying that all purchases were final. After testing the device in various configurations(i.e. wired, wireless, streaming, local playback), we decided that the product was not right for our needs(and did not fully live up to its advertising promises, such as high definition YouTube playback, among others). On 2÷12÷11, we returned to the store to return the device. As we stepped in, we were confronted by the same clerk. As we handed him the now-opened box, he quickly said«I can’t take the product back in this condition; I can’t sell this to any other customer», even before we were able to voice the technical issues that led to our return of the device. He then proceeded to suggest that we upgrade our internet(not possible, due to apartment zoning restrictions) or use a smaller television – two items that he did not bring up during the sale. When I told him that these changes were not possible, he was still adamant in not accepting the return. His solution was simply to test our returned device on the store’s tiny 12 inch television and repeatedly yell«See? Your box is working fine here. It is working fine here.» before giving us another device. When we raised objections to this and again asked for a refund, he said that we could not return the device under any circumstances as the words«final sale» were printed on the reciept and mentioned that if we wanted to return the device, we could have ordered from an online dealer. He then proceeded to repackage our old device meticulously in a new box, while haphazardly tossing a new device into our opened box, while saying«you brought it in this condition, so I will give it to you in the same condition»… as if to admonish us. I just want others to be aware of this store’s deceptive policies and utter disregard for basic consumer protections, such as a fair return policy and no bait-and-switch sales tactics.
