The best turo-​turo food I have been. Dinuguan is really delicious because it’s meaty. No fats and not even tripes. I am very impressed with all the food they have on display because it all looks very good. You just have to pick a number and you will be attended in less than 10 mins. I highly recommend this place to friends for a native Filipino dish cravings.

The smell is really bad in there. Like old meat or blood. I was going to buy fish but changed my mind because you should never walk into a market and smell any meat odors at all. not even at the fish market. bleach and wex-​cide would do the job…

Always a pleasure visiting this place. If you crave Pinoy/​Filipino food, try this place. Pretty decent price and really good flavors, too. It’s what we pinoy call a ‘turo-​turo’ or point-​point if translated to English. My favorite is the adobo, of course but they have a lot of different dishes to choose from.
So, if you’re ever in the area and want to eat good for cheap in the neighborhood, visit American Ranch and Seafood Market.

Disappointed. They serve warm food behind the counter. Ordered vegetarian egg rolls. Young asian female working behind the counter assured me there was no meat inside the egg rolls. After driving to my next destination, sliced into them and discovered meat inside the «vegetarian egg rolls». Upon handing me the food, her facial and body language indicated she knew she was being dishonest.
OWNER: 1) I strongly suggest you teach your employees not to serve meat to customers that are vegetarians. 2) Inform your employees that some customers do not eat pork for religious reasons.

I come here a lot, love the food and servers are great. Why 2 stars? Don’t even want to come and place my orders here comes holidays, it’s a nightmare. Placed an order fully paid as I always do and picked up at a certain time, came out after nearly an hour and 30 min of waiting and 2 of my paid orders were not even cooked or they gave it to somebody else. That’s what I was told. I complained to the lady manager or owner and she just kept insisting to just pick anything I want, not free but to pay for it. I said, just please give me a refund, I could have gone and ordered these items somewhere else. Since, I’m loyal to this place, I came back the next day and place an order of 3 items, come pick up time, guess what? half of the tray of desert I ordered was not there, and again, I was asked to just pick something else, it’s Christmas and I don’t want to lose my cool and so what else could I have done at this point. Prior to this, I placed my order a half tray of desert for Christmas Eve, fully paid, came back to pick it up and was not done and was just replaced by something else too.
Please don’t take orders if you guys can’t fully deliver!

I AM REVIEWING THE CATERING PROCESS. The market itself is just fine.
The only good thing about my experience is that the manager gave me a refund, BUT he never apologized.
Instead of spending time with my family Christmas morning, I was in a long line for people who had preordered platters. I was in line for over an hour before giving up (various people were in line for over two). I gave up and left when I heard a woman arguing with the manager that she had been in line for over two hours and she just found out they didn’t have her order. Others were complaining their food was not even cooked yet.
From what I gathered, people with preordered food were in line with people who were ordering THAT VERY MOMENT. Their system is ALL WRONG. They need more organization. They need to form lines for people with 10am orders, 11am orders and so forth. People with preordered food should have priority over those who do not.
I’m curious to see if the people behind me ever got their food as well, and how much longer they had to wait. They really have to change their system. And by looking at other reviews, this is not new. It happens on non holidays as well.

This is by far the most poorly executed catering company ever. Line today for Christmas was a long wait. Preordered food was not even cooked yet so people who are instead spending time with their family is spending time waiting here. What is the point of preorder if food is not ready.

This place is disappointing AF. Sorry I just had to, and yes I was writing this while I was waiting for my egg rolls that I ordered and paid for first thing saturday morning. This is completely non sense, I usually get my orders from kainan sa kanto and of course when I decide to actually try them this happens, ordered 100 pcs of pork eggrolls and 100 shrimp eggrolls, and something happened to the shrimp eggrolls, they replaced it with pork eggrolls instead which costs less im guessing. I mean the manager was very kind to give us free turon so thanks for making it up to make things right. But I think its still disappointing how they handle online orders. I have no idea what they would’ve done if the manager was not present.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Almost all employees in the cafeteria are very rude. My family and I had bad experiences with them several times already. But we still tried to order from them some Filipino delicacies for my mother’s birthday on Saturday. Called their store this afternoon to ask for the prices of cassava cake and suman but unfortunately, as expected, I was accomodated by yet another rude and uneducated male worker. When I repeated my question for the 2^nd time for confirmation, his guy just answeres me with the exact phrase «$ 17 nga po ang cassava, ang gulo nio naman pong kausap». I have not even been bugging him for more than a minute and he already started to get annoyed with the supposedly «customer», the reason for their business. Their dishes in the cafeteria are not even the best. Their food safety practices are poor!!!

Typical Filipino market full of snacks you miss back in the Philippines.
Never bought fresh meat here, but I have bought veggies before. The grocery area isn’t the largest, but they have everything you need to make Filipino dishes.
When I am too lazy too cook, the prepared food options are usually good:
— Ampalaya (bittermelon with egg/​shrimp/​ground meat): Probably my favorite dish from here. The healthiest option too! Haha.
— Bisteck (beef): flavor is good, but the meat is not always tender. Definitely have had better elsewhere.
— Chop suey (mixed veggies with shrimp and quail eggs): Usually the only veggie option if the bitter melon dish isn’t being served. Not the greatest dish, but needed when all the other options are meat.
— Chicken adobo: as classic as it goes. Nothing fancy, but sometimes too salty for my taste.
— Dinuguan (stewed pork blood): better than most Filipino places. More real meat than fat pieces, which is my preference.
— Other noteworthy options: Bicol express, sea snails in coconut curry, and kare-​kare.
For $ 14 – 16 for a large container, this place is not cheap.
Even during their «happy hour» with prices cut down, it’s still a bit pricey.
I don’t know how to speak Tagalog, but I always want to tell the server to pack it in. If I am paying $ 16, it better be filled to the brim. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn’t.
So if you are craving legit Filipino food but don’t want to cook it yourself or sit down at a normal restaurant, this place is probably your best option in the Cerritos area.

This review is only for the prepared food area, not the grocery store.
Today was my first time going to this place but I plan to come back. The place was well-​recommended by my fellow Filipina coworker.
Make sure you get a ticket. Eventhough their digital counter up on the wall is out of order, they seem to be keeping good track of what number they’re on.
As another reviewer mentioned, the items are not labeled. I highly suggest you come with someone who is familiar with Filipino food. Otherwise, I guess you can ask what each dish is, which would be a hassle. There was a lot of dishes to choose from, I didn’t know what most of them were, but I didn’t mind. I came here with very specific dishes in mind. I wanted pansit bihon, pork sinigang, and pork adobo. They only had beef sinigang (I prefer pork), but I got it since my kids and hubs really like this dish a lot.
I got everything to go since I only had limited time to spend. I liked that they put plastic wrap in addition to the lids, especially since the food was hot. I felt fairly safe putting it in my car without having the items spill all over.
When I got home, I grubbed on the beef sinigang, which I poured on top of white rice — sarap! I still prefer pork sinigang though. The pansit was kinda greasy, but ok. The pork adobo was good too, I always eat it with rice, otherwise, it can be a bit salty.
I have to add, they had Dulce de Leche Kisses from Portos, which was a nice little treat — yum! They charged $ 7.99 for 12 of them. I don’t know if this is the same price at Portos, but I guess it’s worth it to not have to deal with the crowd at Portos.
Also, the cashier could have been a bit more friendly, at least say hi or kumusta or something, ay dios ko! ;D

I use to always go to American ranch because their food was tasty and servings are good.
But in the past year I have not gone back because every time I go there to eat, because of their quality of food it’s become busy and popular but I am grossed out by the people serving they talk over the food no mouth masks so I have seen their saliva fall on the food.
I did call their attention once about unnecessary conversation over the food but was laughed at.
If you must talk can you please put a mask over your mouth please

Not only do they have an awesome selection of veggies/​meat/​seafood but we also tried their «turo turo» counter of cooked food and it was really good! I had garlic fried rice, longaniza sausage, and beef ribs. The beef ribs were a tad greasy, but, Flip food normally is anyway so no complaints here! My wife had the Pinakbit and she really enjoyed it. The longaniza was really good as was the fried rice. Generous portions so the pricing is really good. For $ 7.50 I had a rice and two choices of what was cooked. I actually like the quality and pricing better than Pinoy Pinay down the street so if you’re looking for Flip breakfast in the Cerritos area… give these guys a try.
On the butcher counter side of things there are tons of «asian» options ready to go that you’ll never see in a regular grocery store ie: fish heads, fish collars, tuna belly, blue crab, fresh cut pork butt… not frozen or pre packaged, etc, etc. And the fruits include many tropical types not normally seen at places like Vons, etc. They do have some everyday items that you’d see in a regular supermarket, but, their specialty is asian food, sundries, etc.
I will be coming here from now on when I need good Filipino food from their counter or when I need special ingredients for my asian style cooking!

The food is good actually. Its the sevice that is undesireable, especially from casheirs who dont even acknowledge your presence and support for their business. I guess if u dont like being a cashier then do something about it and better yourself. Just please be courteous to your customers because they are people and deserve respect just like everyone else.

Really awesome all in one Filipino market and fast food joint.
They really have a good selection of really good imports that are a must in my Filipino household they also have other Asian items and really good like kit kat flavors you can’t find anywhere else I swear !
The Filipino food I have to tell you is authentic and delicious (and they have an «A») Such a wide variety of dishes I’m literally wanting everything and anything **sooo bad. My family and I end up getting way too much food errrrrrtime!

Hmmm. I think this is a great asian market but the take-​out food side is pretty disorganized. They call numbers but there are no visible signs saying where to get the numbers or how their system works. (The place to get your number is on the right side of the fast food counter on the wall). There are maybe 4 people taking orders but no real organization, people lining up for some reason is kinda confusing. I think if they would just clue people in and maybe put a sign there it would alleviate some of that confusion.
So i step between all the folks in line and take a look at all the choices of food available, nothing is labeled so i’m having to eavesdrop on other peoples conversation to figure out what’s what. I’m american born filipino so i don’t speak the language but i can point dammit. I ended up getting pork adobo and some sort of seafood concoction. The adobo was fatty and real oily but had a good taste. The servings were also small in comparison to Pinoy-​Pinay where i usually go. The seafood in white sauce was delicious, omg, i’m headed back for that alone. And the pricing is different too, check out the signs.
I’ll give it another few tries and try different food. It’s closer to me but the jury’s still out. Also the lady who took my order was kinda rude. I really couldn’t get what she was saying and i think she got mad at me but heck, i don’t speak the language i can’t help it. She got my order, wrapped it and threw it on the counter and walked away. Um, «thank you?». I’ma dismiss that and give you a pass on that one. Boy, my peeps, i’m sorry i can’t understand you but relax.

I have to say I dig this place. Its a grocery store, fish market and cafeteria all housed under the same roof. Its not what you expect by looking in on the outside.
Some of the usual things I buy are the corned beef. I wont eat it but Ill cook it for my husband. A huge selection of kitchen necessities/​must haves like banana ketchup, house sauces, all purpose sauce.
For satisfaction of my sweet tooth I enduldge in those buttery biscottis, those peanut crusted cookies, pan de sal, and portos cheese rolls. For my salty side lots of Jack and Jill stuff, cheese curls, garlic peanuts, that corn puff chip. Just be sure to brush your teeth because that stuff makes you stink.
On the other side there is a huge variety of hot foods. You grab a old school number then wait to be called. Usually I get the beefstek and banana ques. In morning hours they offer garlic fried rice and eggs. They give you your food, then you pay at the cash register. A few tables are available for dine in.
