Not happy at all with the results! Now I have to start over:(Infact after multiple consultations with other providers in the area, I was told it would take a full year just to undo what this man did:(Looks way worse when he finished than when we started!

The best orthodontist in the area. I had braces over 10 years ago, I walked in today and they still remembered me and were able to help with replacing a broken retainer. I have heard over the past decade from my dentists, Dr. Ng (santa maria), Dr. Tran (pismo beach) and now my new dentist Dr. Beck (arroyo grande) how amazing my teeth have turned out thankd to a great orthodontist. I hear it from strangers and coworkers how nice and straight they turned out. I will always refer only to Dr.Thompson. He is truly a remarkable person and has such a friendly office. Their prices are amazing and their results are priceless. Love me teeth!!!

Was going to take my daughter for a consult, but reviewed his webpage. Says he’s «a board certified orthodontist.» Turns out he’s NOT a board certified orthodontist! What a fraud! This is from his website:

My daughter went to Dr Thompson and he used a Frankel appliance on her. He told us she would need it about a year. 2 years later, he continued to say «one more month». We got a consultation with another orthodontist who told us Frankel’s are not even considered a treatment option any longer. The new orthodontist took Dr Thompson to peer review, we received a full refund from him. Our daughter then had orthodontic treatment by the new orthodontist at a reduced fee because he felt sorry for us. Her teeth came out well in just over 14 months

After meeting with Dr. Thompson, we chose to have both our daughters treatment with Dr. Thompson. We are very pleased with the treatment he is providing. He takes his time with each appointment and is always watching out for the best interest of my daughters’ ortho treatment. My youngest (11 years) is doing a treatment appliance called a Frankel which is guiding the growth of her jaws. This is going super well, and we have not only seen good changes in her jaw and occlusion, but also the straightness of her teeth is improving as the treatment and growth is going on. My eldest (14) has a very complex ortho case and Dr Thompson is working carefully to slowly but accurately move each of the teeth. We never feel that he is rushing. We know that he cares about the teeth and oral health, but we also know that he cares for the whole person, and the community as a whole! We could not be more pleased!
*Once we had a broken bracket… he came in after hours on one of the arroyo grande office’s day off just to get it all fixed. We did not feel like we were a bother, but rather he was super nice and kind and in a great mood always!
