When you come to The teVelde Conservatory of Music, we promise it will be the most supportive and loving environment you will ever learn in, period. We specialize in building confidence and giving our students the foundation skills to access their own personal genius. Our goal is to develop musical families in our community, and welcome you into ours! Music lessons for kids and adults for all ages.

Our teachers are highly trained, and our students are matched, by personality type and learning style, to lessons they will love. We embrace current technologies, and can even offer Skype lessons.

We have a specialized team of teachers that work with all types of learning challenges, including ADHD, TBI, ASDs, and more. We have our music therapy dog, «Quincy», on site by appointment. Students earn awards and perform at The Clark Center twice a year!

History

Established in 2003.

I started teaching out of my home 30 years ago, but established a school back in 2003. Since then we’ve moved through different locations, but have always offered the same service. We’ve grown 10-​fold since then, and now have two locations! One in San Luis Obispo, and another in Arroyo Grande, CA.

Bonnie teVelde is the Owner and CEO of The teVelde Conservatory of Music. With over 30 years of experience in music education, she’s grown the school from private lessons in her home to two locations and a staff of 15 teachers.
