Decent food. Beer prices a slight bit high, but people are friendly, but service stunk. Waitress forgot about me two times and had to have bartender get me my beer. Food was cooked alright and they seem to have a decent choice of menu items. What dropped my review 80%, was the fact that the waitress kept forgetting about me and my party of two.

It’s a bar so stick to bar items. 4 star(I’m a fan) for the bar vs other options in Arnold, but would be 3 star more average in St Louis. I’ve been here a couple times & actually like the place… just think the ranking is more about other options around Arnold. I was here at night as a bar & was thought it was A-OK for meeting with friends. I had lunch here & liked my dates pretzel bun sandwich far better than my uninspired iceberg & styrofoam like tomatoes salad with cold chopped chicken breast tossed in wing sauce.

We have been here many times. Food is good and consistent. I would say the food is above average for a bar but not the best I’ve had. Service is always great. Drinks have favorable pours and decent beer selection. Prices are reasonable. Have never had a bad experience. I hope they stay around.

Great little bar and restaurant. I keep coming back due to the consistent food and great beer on tap. Food is above average bar food, but reasonable in price. The place has a very local feel to it and the staff is always SUPER friendly. Kudos!

I loved everything about that place. The music the food it’s all good. My daughter had the big big juicy burger, looked delicious.

Have had the chili a few times and it is some of the best chili around. Most places chili tastes like it’s from a can. This is definitely fresh made with lots of meat and just the right amount of heat

I have eaten here on and off over the past few years. While they have what appears to be a good menu, the place is less than ordinary. Its really a shame because I think the place has potential. Not the most professional staff and the kitchen is slow!

The tortellini is the best around. Delicious! Service was good. The atmosphere is pretty loud. They could stand to turn the music down just a notch so conversation is easier.

This was my second visit so ethically I can give a review. The first time I had the tortellini with prosciutto. They missed the mark. Pasta was overcooked and way very salty. The manager say that happens when the cooks put in too much prosciutto. He didn’t offer to fix it or remake the order but I didn’t push it. The service was spotty. It looked like the manager/owner was the only person working and the other servers were doing something other than serving. The second visit i was alone so I sat at the bar. Service was good but I was there at 3:00PM. I ordered the fried chicken on the recommendation of the bar tender. It was okay but not great. Again, it was very salty. The mashed potatoes had some scallions which didn’t work. The green beans probably came from a can. In summary, this place could be better but it will take some work.

We went on Sunday, around 4pm, for dinner. We had three adults and two kids. My only complaint happened right off the bat, there was no parking! The lot was completely full and we ended up parking at a bank next door. Luckily it was Sunday and it was closed, otherwise we would have been across Jeffco and dodging through traffic like some other people we saw. Turned out, there were two large parties going on in the bar area. Besides that, we had a great experience. The table was a little crowded, it was meant for 4, and with a high chair at the end, we were stacking plates to make room. Even though there were parties going on, the bar is separated from the dining room where we were and we didn’t really even hear them. Our food choices ran the gamut of the menu, pizza, salad, burger, mac and cheese and a kids grilled cheese. Our waitress refilled our drinks often and was nicely attentive. We had fried mushrooms, which were really good and we all liked the dipping sauce. I wish there had been more! I had the tomato basil artisan pizza. The crust was thin, crispy and had little burnty spots that I really liked. I wish the tomatoes had been a little riper, but it was still really good, and filling. My daughter had the grilled cheese and green beans, pretty standard looking. The baby had mac and cheese, which was actually really flavorful. It had garlic and lots of buttery cheese sauce. So good. Mom had the spinach salad, and it was gone quickly so it must have been tasty. Step-dad had a burger on a pretzel bun and said it was really good. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised. It looks like a tiny little strip-mall joint. It is actually really big inside and the food is definitely not strip-mall fare. We will return!

Here’s the damn thing. I write curt, short no BS: And to the owners, please read this as a personal review of my taste in certain areas, but overall public aesthetics in others. The overall ambience sucks. But it’s as good as your gonna get right NOW ? As great as you proffer gastronomically, please offer more warming surroundings, somehow(I know it’s hard given the constrictions) in no particular order of goodness: 1. Jen. Her eyes++. her pours, if one shows willing to stay/tip, I guess. Though she needs to get off the damn phone when customers arrive. 2. I love calamari. I love lightly breaded apps. 1st of all All plusses for even offering it. Please be easier on the Mediterranean spices, but it was light enough on the batter so it made it more tempura-like.(Please St louis, we are not at the Iowa state fair…) .3. Salmon. And this is what I hate to have to apologize for Soco.(I think Andy sometime Andy is the best apologist for usum’s). Local house has great fresh salmon. Lunch on a club I had, said Yoda. 4. 90MILES I would swim for a CUBANO. (and my daughter says a «Tijuana,?or Tahitian? ») she would swim for) whatever THATMEANS ;)

Met some friends here for dinner before a concert. I tasted their pasta at the Taste of Arnold and knew I had to try this place. One of the best things about this place is everything is homemade. We ordered burgers, salad, a couple appetizers and a grilled cheese. The local house burger was amazing! The beef is fresh and very tasty. I would be willing to bet there are no frozen patties here. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The service was excellent. The waitress was funny and attentive. She had great suggestions. The food came very fast and everything was right and tasted wonderful. The best thing was that the staff appears very happy to be there. It was an excellent experience and I will be back. There is so much I want to try.

Met up with a few friends for some dinner and conversation, and someone suggested Local house and we decided to act on their opinion. Local house was located in a strip mall, your typical bar/restaurant. We were greeted promptly, and decided to sit outside since the evening was nice enough for it. they got our large table ready, and once we sat down the server immediately took our drink order. we ordered a few appetizers, cheese garlic bread, a pizza-tizer which was a small flat bread pizza and a few others ordered the queso dip. appetizers were tasty, and moderately priced. I didn’t order a main dish, however several others in the group ordered burgers and all were pleasantly pleased with both the portion and the flavor. they have TV’s and a full bar. overall, satisfaction achieved. yep I would pass the word on about the place.

Best food I’ve had in a while! Driving home from Chicago to Houston and stopped in here for late night dinner. From the appetizers to dessert the food was incredible and the service was exceptional to match. Will be here again if I’m ever passing by!

I have to say, this is definitely the best restaurant in Arnold! It was the favorite of my ex-wife Angela, so I visit frequently both for the amazing food and to see if she’s there. Unfortunately for me, they have tables for two that Angela regularly requests, and the last time I saw her dining here her new boyfriend Ricardo was there. Of course I sat a few tables away, and ate my feelings with their absolutely scrumptious fried chicken. I’ve come to believe that fried chicken can cure any sadness. It is much better than the friend chicken mother makes, considering she deep fries it 11 times over due to both her fear of undercooked food and her love for grease. I’d also recommend the cheese fry burger, which was bigger than my face! Mother can usually eat two, so she orders those and I myself eat the fried chicken and give her half of mine. So, if you’re looking for amazing food or your ex-wife, this is the place to be! 11⁄10 would eat again.

So far so good. Much better than previous establishment. Fast service with tasty food. Haven’t to try fried chicken, their specialty. Little stingy with the stars on this one because this place is new. Fried chicken was very good, added another star. Beer is cold enough with a wide selection.

My husband and I decided to try somewhere new for dinner and found this place. Even though Google maps still shows the other restaurant that used to be here, we still drove out to find out. We were instantly greeted at the door by a strapping young fella who was very pleasant to be around and knowledgeable. He told us how the place came about, specials, and informed our server. Our server greeted us instantly with her trainee who we felt confidante laughing and joking with. They had great recommendations and showed they weren’t here to rush us. We ordered our food and it was phenomenal! I had the tortellini and my husband had the veggie wrap. Just delightful. The host even visited us again and made sure we were happy and satisfied. Of course, I had to joke with him and make him worry. Lol. All in all, WEWILLBEBACK!

I visited this restaurant when it first opened and I was blown away. This is possibly the best restaurant to open in this building. The waiter was incredible, the restaurant was very clean, the menu is huge, and the food is delicious. I ordered the house burger and it was incredible. Cooked medium rare perfectly, and seasoned perfectly. The food came out within 15 minutes of ordering and everything came out correct. The waiter was constantly refilling drinks and making conversation. We had a wonderful time. I hope this place sticks around! This building is infamous for failed restaurants, but this one deserves to stay!

Easily one of my favorite place, and definitely the best restaurant in Arnold. My husband and I have been there on several occasions and we have yet to find something on the menu we don’t like. Their weekend breakfast is a must! It is pretty inexpensive and the biscuits and gravy are some of the best in St. Louis, and I consider myself to be a bit of a B&G snob. I can’t wait to try their new fried chicken! Recommendations: The Local Burger, Spinach Artichoke Pizza-tizer, Hawaiian Chicken sandwich, chicken Spedini, Biscuits and Gravy, Loaded Meat Omelette
