Only 3⁄5 despite excellent customer service, the manager of the store was unreliable/negligent. The Good: I received excellent service once the store opened. I had my company provided wellness check performed at the pharmacy counter. All tests took under 30 minutes and results were instantaneous. The staff member was professional and used proper handling techniques. The Bad: I scheduled my HSA Wellness Check for 0900 as the cholesterol blood test required fasting. I ended up having to wait in the parking lot of the store for 45 minutes as the manager hadn’t showed up to unlock the store. In the 45 minutes, I watched over 20 customers try the doors and then most cars just went across the street to CVS. The store is far cleaner and more organized than the neighboring CVS.

This is, absolutely the best pharmacy that I have ever been to. My physician actually agrees with me and said that in all her years of practice, she has never with a pharmacy that is as on top of things and helpful as this one. Love the staff, so friendly and helpful. Always got my prescriptions right, which was awesome because I was on multiple prescription and frequently changed prescriptions so I’m not the simplest customer. Always had prescriptions ready within 15 minutes, even if I was filling multiple prescriptions. It wasn’t close to home, but I could drive by it on the way home from work fairly easily. Worth the extra effort. Even if I had to go on a weekend– totally worth the drive. I’ve moved now, and my insurance insists on using CVS so I don’t go here anymore, but I honestly miss this place. Best pharmacy every and totally worth extra effort to get there! Once I even went to the minute-clinic across the street at CVS– I asked the physician I saw if they are speedy about filling prescriptions and her answer was sometimes. So I told her about Walgreens and walked myself across the street to get my prescription in less than 10 minutes!

This store is great and the staff are super nice… my only concern here is that they just aren’t attentive to the front registers. Not ten times you have to ask someone to check you out .and too frequently there is a long line and you have to suggest that they open another register. If they were more aggressive at getting people efficiently checked out, the store would be pretty much a perfect place,

I thought I was going to die the other day. And, I had the misfortune of being out of town. Take it from me, if you’re going to try to die, I’m sure it’s way easier if you are close to home. If you’re not, the next best thing is to be a Walgreen’s pharmacy customer. It just so happens I underwent a surgery recently, and now I’m in that not so fortunate position of being dependent on a medication for the rest of my life. In the scheme of things, I know a lot of other people are in the same boat, but I’m still in that stage where I’m being dramatic and waxing poetic. So, my medication dosage was off. It didn’t feel good. At all. I knew something was just plain WRONG. Then to top it off, I got that lovely«should I just go ahead and barf on myself right now or run to the bathroom and let nature take wrath on all that is good and right in this world???» kind of feeling. TMI, I’m sure, but true. Delirious with a 101.3 fever, I was praying to be put out of my misery, fast. I may have mentioned that I was planning to die. The good news for me was that with some parental assistance, I was able to contact my hometown Walgreen’s(this location) and they transferred my updated prescription to the Walgreen’s that was closest to me. My new meds were ready in an hour-and-a-half. My pops went to pick it up for me. Plus, they had all of the cold and flu remedies a girl could ever dream of. Walgreen’s was my one stop health, healing and ameliorating shop! Holy hallelujah! By the next morning I made a miraculous recovery. I survived. I lived another day. I Unilocaled another Unilocal

Like any other walgreens. They have plenty of parking and a Redbox. There is a CVS across the street but I go to the Walgreen because it is easier to get in and out by avoiding the CVS stripmall.

This Walgreens is a good alternate to the CVS across the street. Cleaner and more organized than the CVS! They also had flu shots available freely!

Our son is on 5 – 6 medicines which all need to be filled and dispensed at different times. CVS(all of them) became such a headache for various reasons — they wouldn’t have a generic in stock so they’d fill with the name-brand without asking, medicine wouldn’t be ready when they said… it was a mess. Since this Walgreesn has a drive-thru and our child is only one, getting him in and out of the car is a hassle. But on top of that, I was amazed by the customer service at this pharmacy — I told them what I needed and they gave me solutions, talked with our doctor directly, and kept giving me guidance. Just the other day, they had a question and picked up the phone to call without waiting for me to show up to ask for clarification. Highly recommend this location.

I shop at this Walgreens because it is close to my house and offers many things CVS does not. I buy my fav cheapo sunglasses here and they have large umbrella’s, in particular the blow-out-proof kind. My last visit however, I picked-up about 10 additional items that were on sale only to find myself being charged more at the register. Luckily I was paying close attention to the prices and I spent 15 minutes going back to the aisles to check the sales price. They would have charged me about $ 15 over their ad prices. The manager took over the register and made it right with me and explained that«they» put the signs up before the prices were fixed in the system. Later, I saw him talking with the employee putting up the discounted prices and telling her to finish up, so it appears that«he» is the one who decided to put up the signs before the prices were instigated. This is either a dirty trick to rip-off customers or poor management. Message to Walgreens: Rule of thumb in retail, change the prices in the system first so people aren’t being misled by false advertising. It’s not only proper, it’s ethical.

Clean is good! Leave the crowds to CVS across the street. This place cannot be beat and they do not hound you for Club Cards! Hey Walgreens– you’ll be getting a lot of green from me! Keep up the good work!

It’s new, clean and uncrowded. Waiting for the pharmacy is fast! I think everyone is still going across the street to CVS where the crowds are plentiful and parking can be a pain. If you want something fast, or need help I would head to this store. Since it never seems to be busy, the staff are always happy to assist. I went in for a flu shot and was seen in about 5 minutes.

Finally!!! The old Rite Aid building has been filled! It is now a Walgreens. And it is nice. Lots of toys(always a good point for a drugstore) and a good selection of products. Decent prices too! I do have a couple of issues: They close at TEN! PM! I mean really Walgreens, how do you expect to compete with CVS across the street when they are open 24 hours!!! When I need a late night something-or-other and I don’t feel like crossing Lee hwy, what am I supposed to do? *sigh* Issue #2 is the almost entertainingly slow appearance of cashiers at the registers anytime I have shopped there. Monty and I have resorted to playing games of catch with various products at the counter until someone shows up. Ahhh yes, and they still don’t have their liquor license… tsk tsk tsk
