History

Established in 2006.

The dogSpaw is owned by Becky Chevalier, who started grooming in Arlington, Texas in 1995. From 1996 – 1999 she operated Glamour Snips mobile dog grooming and pet photography. From 2000 – 2005, she worked closely with a number of local groomers to develop a breed-​specific process for grooming dogs to provide a higher-​quality product while keeping prices competitive with «big-​box» grooming services. In December, 2006 she opened The dogSpaw with a handful of clients, and quickly grew. In December, 2011 the dogSpaw moved to a larger space, and began offering clients a wider choice of products and services. Today, we focus on continuing our tradition of excellence. Becky has been grooming dogs in Arlington, Texas for nearly 20 years. Her commitment to excellence continues today. Her team at The dogSpaw includes Petra, Oksana, Melany, Victoria, and Quincy. Each groomer excels at bringing out the character and personality of each dog, and our customers have noticed. We want to thank all of our clients for their continued patronage.
