Specialties
Photographing or filming ‘things with people’. We like interacting with people and have the rare ability to take photos and can also do videos. One person from the company wouldn’t do both at the same time. If hired for a project, one person would be dedicated to photography and the other person to video.
Photo: Clean headshots and dynamic portraits are a favorite. Group photos. Also photographing events where you want people to know it was successful. Memorial services. Families. You have a beautiful family and you want to remember the moment. Engagement photos and small weddings. Elopements. Courthouse weddings.
Video: Corporate project and small business projects. Promo videos. Landing page videos. Weddings. Memorial Services
Don’t be afraid to think creatively. Style shoots, group activities etc. We’d like to be there.
History
Established in 2011.
The short version of the story is that one day I borrowed a camera from a good friend and didn’t return it for 5 years. During that time another friend asked me the day before his wedding if I’d use my camera to document the wedding. Then there was the time that someone who developed and App needed something visual for the web. So organic the business grew. Why is the company called The Documentist? I always had a camera with me and people would say ‘I need you to document that, I’m so glad you’re documenting this’ ‘You’re The Documentist’.
