Taylor’s, a vehicle state inspection facility, performs inspections on all year, make and model of vehicles. We also inspect motorcycles. We usually complete the inspection in 10 minutes. We don’t do any repair work, so you know you are going to receive an honest inspection of your vehicle.

History

Established in 1976.

The Taylor family has been performing vehicle inspections since March of 1963. We moved to our current location in 1976. We have always been a family owned and operated business.

These guys know customer service. Waiting room is comfortable, bathrooms are always kept neat and tidy, but you may not even have time to use them since their lightning fast service will get you in and out fast. I’ve been coming here for years with multiple motorcycles and cars. Same workers every time I come by and they recognize me They have local pride and obviously deserve support of everybody around them since they work so hard. Even with 4 vehicles in service when we rolled in today they got us in and out before I finished typing this review. Five stars all the way!

Honestly are y’all friends of the owners or something, those of you who are giving this place five-​star reviews? I’m new to Texas and I LOVE it here. Let me reiterate this: LOVE IT. however, Taylor’s was the first negative experience I’ve had in my time down here. I won’t go into specifics but let’s just say had I been a guy I would have been treated with more respect, and that was by a member of my own gender. If you want great service, stick to one of the little hole-​in-​the-​wall roadside garages… you’ll be treated better and you’re not paying for the paint job on their property.

Friend mentioned this place to me, I checked it out on Unilocal,and it lives up to it’s five star rating.
Went mid morning on a weekday, one car ahead of me. Pull in, go to the back, they put you in line. Benches outside and air con inside. No fooling around here, they get after it.
Answer any questions you have before they do anything. Best, quickest inspection in years. Staff were really nice. Will make this my place to get inspections from now on.
They do motorcycles also.

I’m a newbie to this inspection process so I checked out Unilocal to find an honest and reasonably priced car inspection business. I was blown away by the previous reviews to this place and my fellow Unilocalers did not let me down.
I called to make sure they were open and what to bring and had all my questions answered. So i drove the 20 – 30 minutes from Ft. Worth to Arlington. As Arlo Guthrie said in his classic song «Alice’s Restaurant», Walk in, your car gets inspected, detected, …and Selected with a fancy sticker affixed to your front windshield that says to the world that your car is safe and ready to be registered.

This place is the best! Just moved here from Calif. and needed to get inspection. They were so helpful taking care of me & my «newly moved here out of state questions.» Helped me understand insurance and explained the paperwork & I so appreciated the help with my wheel bolt too. I didn’t even have time to finish a round of my game before they were finished — I will never go anywhere else. Also, the sticker is aligned PERFECTLY with my registration sticker, which really suits my OCD — that’s a nice touch I really appreciate!

I usually get my state inspection done at my favorite full service repair center. However, I knew that on the last weekend of the month, it would take forever. They usually have one guy doing inspections and a few people in front of me.
However, after reading about Taylor’s on Unilocal,I decided to give it a try. I drove over to Taylor’s on a Saturday morning. Again it was the last weekend of the month. I decided to time it. I was in and out in 10 minutes flat and was on my way. They have the procedure down to a science
Even though it took me 15 minutes to drive each way, I know I was finished faster than I would have been at my usual place, but I didn’t have to sit in a crowded waiting area.

Went to Taylor’s once again to have my 2003 Acura RSX inspected during my lunch break. Total time was 10 minutes. Total cost was $ 39.75.
Rob and Jeremy were both good technicians who were polite and courteous to me. Location is central to everything college-​oriented. Place is super-​clean.
Overall, the experience was a pleasant one, and I would definitely recommend EVERYONE to forego Goodyear, Pep Boys, or even the dealerships and choose this as THE place to go for inspections!

Last weekend I realized I was a month past on getting my inspection done. Honestly, I wasn’t interested in doing it, I figured I’d have to leave my car and it would take all day, I’d be out $ 75 and they’d hassle me to get more repairs done than I really needed (translation: scam me). Little did I know that Taylor’s had me in and out in under 15 minutes and it was a sweet $ 39. Granted I don’t have an old car and I take care of it, but it was nice that it took so long and was hassle-​free.

I was in at 8:00 and out by 8:15. The technician was very friendly. The waiting room had comfy chairs and good A/​C. I passed the inspection, they had the paperwork on the dash and the sticker already attached.
I usually write verbose reviews, but there isn’t much else to say here. It’s just an auto-​inspection :)

This is place is awesome. They are extremely efficient and get people in and out. I always come here for my vehicle state inspection because I hate sitting around and waiting. The people are nice and I always feel safe handing my keys over to them.
