Last winter’s deep frost heaved one of the masonry piers supporting my porch so far it was near collapse. He figured out a way to re-​plumb the pier without having to re-​build it. I thought his approach was pretty clever, and it got the job done quickly, without much cost. He explained what he was doing and was very straightforward. I will use this guy again.

I found this moron yesterday on craigslist and he is a complete fraud! He doesnt have a plumbing license and he doesnt know what hes doing! After 3 HOURS of trying to unclog a SINGLE SINK DRAIN (without success) he said to «keep running hot boiling water through it and ive been here for this many hours and I would like to be paid now… I told him «I called you for a clog and its been 3 hours and you havent fixed anything so im not paying you a damn thing.» He does not know WTF he is doing. I called a licensed plumber (I tried to save a buck on craiglist and it backfired) and he fixed the problem for $ 150 in less than 30 minutes!!! This moron was charging me $ 45 per hour PLUS $ 25 for destination charge PLUS parts PLUS to reinstall the garbage disposal which he would have never needed if he KNEW WTF HE WAS DOING!
