Sphutt’s is mobile SnoCone business. We specialize in parties, school functions, and corporate events. When we are not doing events we can be located in the parking lot of Living Hope Church at 3631 New York Avenue. We post on our Facebook page when we are onsite.

History

Established in 2014.

Sphutt’s was founded by Bernard Johnson a legally blind man with albinism. Mr. Johnson started the business because he had found it difficult to find suitable employment that could accommodate his disability. His vision is to provide a great working environment for those who are legally blind or disabled. He wanted to eliminate the stigma that legally blind individuals are limited in their abilities. Sphutt’s is truly a family run business, along with his wife an Air Force veteran and their four children together they provide stellar customer service at any event or party that is booked.

Sphutt’s use the finest of shaved ice topped with handmade premium syrups. Blue Bell Ice Cream is used in all of their SnoCreams along with 7 different candy toppings and cream. There are over 48 flavors to choose from including 5 sugar free flavors.

Sphutt’s mission is to ensure that each party or event is a memorable experience. Sphutt’s believes in service with a smile and no hidden fees.

Bernard founded Sphutt’s because he found it difficult to find suitable employment that would could accommodate his disability. His vision is to have a store front that has talking cash registers and is low vision adapted. His mission is to lower the unemployment rate of the legally blind one SnoCone and SnoCream at a time.
