I needed a mouth guard for a game that night, when I called ahead the owner said he would hang around for me even though the store had closed hours ago. So friendly & helpful!

I have been looking for cleats in 3 stores in the last week and this one has, by far, the best selection. They have all price levels for the average player ranging from $ 45-​$ 200. Multiple color options for models and older models marked down. If you are looking for cleats this should be your first stop.

Awesome experience at this store. Everyone was kind and attentive to everyone’s need. Went it in purchase some customers made jerseys for my team and Jr couldn’t of made it easier. Great prices and I never feel pressured while shopping there.

Today was the first time I ever went to this store. I’m not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from, because I didn’t encounter any rudeness, and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Now, I’ll say the guy working the counter, who I think is the owner seems to be quiet, but he was friendly and polite.
As far as prices, it varies I guess? I bought the Reusch glove wash for $ 8.50 here, and it’s $ 13.97 on Amazon. I bought a pair of gloves that I paid a whopping $ 5 more here than on Amazon. I brought in the 15% off coupon as well, so any higher price differences were eliminated anyway. I think any items that happen to be higher price here is going to be a minimal increase really. It is also important to note that they had a LOT of stuff on sale, jerseys. t-​shirts, just a lot.
I’m giving it five stars, because I’ve been to quite a few soccer shops, and this one is up there in terms of selection and price. I would argue that the big box places most certainly do not have as many soccer items, much less as many soccer items on sale. In fact, if you are in the market for GK gloves and jerseys, I can say 100% you will not find better gloves, or as wide of a selection of soccer gear at Dicks, Modells, or Sports Authority.
Bottom line: It is obvious from the breadth of merchandise that the owner loves soccer and it’s a store for people who really love soccer too. I’ll definitely be making future visits.

This is the go-​to shop for all soccer fans and players in the Arlington and No. VA area. They have a terrific selection of cleats, jerseys, shinguards, etc. as well as miscellaneous soccer items like books, calendars, etc. The customer service is better than any big-​box retailer as Junior and Mr. Menacho know and love soccer and are great in finding what you need, whether it be for your ASA soccer kid or anyone playing an adult league. My sons and I love going to Soccer Kicks since we know they’ll have what we need.

We’ve been buying cleats for our two boys at Soccer Kicks since they began playing rec soccer in pre-​school. Our boys are now 10 and 13 and, playing travel soccer with their growing feet, we find ourselves making frequent visits to Soccer Kicks. The selection and the customer service is so much better than Dicks. There’s simply no comparison. It’s so refreshing to be greeted with a smile by someone who knows something about the product and the way cleats of different brands fit differently.
Buying cleats at Soccer Kicks is only half the story. The store recently underwent a redesign and many soccer products and apparel are displayed nicely. If the store doesn’t have the size of what you need, they can have it ordered and delivered promptly. And, if that level of customer attention doesn’t get you in the door, the online coupon which will save you real money, certainly will!
We like supporting local Arlington stores owned by Arlington families. When it comes to any soccer-​related needs, there’s no other choice but Soccer Kicks.

I am a mom of 3 soccer playing boys and this is by far my (and their) favorite place to shop for soccer gear. Not only are their prices usually lower than Dicks or SA, they take the time to make sure the fit (of a shoe or uniform) is correct. The people working there are always very friendly and helpful. I especially love how they treat my youngest son (10 years old) which further encourages his love of the game. If you haven’t been, You’ve got to go before you hit the fall field.

I have twin soccer-​playing fifth grade boys. We get our gear from Soccer Kicks because the selection and service are excellent. I’m Unilocaling five stars at the top of my lungs.

Always shop at Soccer Kicks for all of my kids soccer shoes. The staff at Soccer Kicks has always been very helpful and they a large selection of cleats, jerseys, anything soccer related… Always a positive experience shopping at Soccer Kicks!

Not sure what’s up with all the negative reviews. This is a local mom and pop shop so yes the prices are going to be a little higher than a large corporate conglomerate. Don’t ding the shop for being what it is. In return for higher prices though, you get to try stuff on and get good advice in the store. You get to handle the merchandise before you buy it. You get to actually try on the shoes to see if they fit! You also get to support the local Arlington families that co-​own this shop. Also look online for the 15% off coupon.
I’d say the selection and service is actually pretty good. If you’ve ever tried to buy shoes at Dicks, you’ll appreciate how easily and quickly Soccer Kicks will bring out shoes to you. At Dicks, you can literally stand around for 5 to 10 minutes waiting for service. At Soccer Kicks, Junior knows all the shoes and brands. If you tell him what kind of feet you have, he’ll find the perfect shoe for you. As for selection, the selection of cleats has expanded lately to the point of being ridiculous. The selection here is much better than what you get at Dicks or Zappos. They have a full selection of all the popular models for the major brands. The walls are literally covered in cleats. I can’t imagine anyone else having a better selection of cleats in the DC area.
One word of warning. It’s hard to walk thru this shop without spending a lot of money! They have lots of nice jerseys and shirts just calling your name as you navigate thru the shop. They have recently been renovating the shop and layout. The place looks really snazzy and sharp.

I came here looking for soccer cleats I could use for rugby. Big stores like Dick’s and Sports Authority hadn’t had a wide selection or much know-​how when it comes to cleat sizing. Here, they have GIGANTIC walls of cleats and the guy who helped me didn’t give up on me (my feet are really wide and I often have sizing issues). I found the perfect pair after trying on a ton. They know what they’re talking about.

I went to Soccer Kicks to buy a pair of soccer cleats for my 3^rd grade daughter.
I’m her rec soccer coach. Her feet are growing fast. So I was happy to come to a local place to try on a few pairs.
Unfortunately the experience was painful. Yes, the prices are quite a bit higher than online, but I wasn’t too worried: it’s worth it for me to have her try on various shoes and get exactly the right thing.
When the pair we settled on wasn’t in stock, the (disheveled, reticent) owner promised «6 business days.» We paid, went home, and waited. Eight days later I called. The owner said there was a «credit mix-​up.» He was terse and maybe it truly wasn’t his fault, but he didn’t really try to explain what happened. He promised to call the next day after finding out more. Didn’t call. I called, but he was out. Left message. Didn’t get call back. I called again the next day, no word. My wife called after more than two weeks and couldn’t get info (all the while my daughter wearing small shoes).
Finally, after 18 days, the cleats came in, they called, and I went to pick them up. The owner was unpacking boxes near the cash register where I waited. He instructed a staffer where to find the shoes in the back, but didn’t say anything to me like «Sorry it took so long,» or «hope you like the shoes,» or «boy, that was bad luck with the shipment.»
Ultimately, Soccer Kicks had laughably poor service. The young staffers were nice, but unempowered. The owner failed. I’ll go out of my way to never shop there again.

For a shop its size, Soccer Kicks packs in quite a bit. It’s hard to find a decent variety of lady soccer gear but they have a decent selection here.
I came in recently to browse around their jerseys and to check out some cleats and shorts. There were to shop keeps (one being the owner) and they were super helpful. They have both authentic jerseys and replicas (which are about a third of the price). They didn’t have many English Premier leaguers aside from Man U so I went a completely different route and picked up a Messi Argentina jersey for under $ 40. There weren’t lady sizes but they had youth sizes which worked just as well. I ended up not buying cleats or shorts that day, but there was a whole wall and a half of cleats and a whole rounder full of shorts so I know I’ll be back.
If you’re not looking to pick up any gear, they have tons of other things to show your support for a team. There are flags, pins, plastic bracelets, cleat bags, window clings and bumper stickers of all your favorite teams, just to name a few.
The only downer about this place is that their website needs alot of work. It’d be awesome if you could order merch from their website!

Iv’e been playing soccer all of my life and only once or twice have I ever bought equipment or anything else at soccer kicks. The fact of the matter is, everything there is just overpriced. You could get the same cleats, shirts, etc. for way cheaper from an online soccer store such as eurosport or sporting goods store. Not to mention the selection of things at soccer kicks is very small due to the small space the store is in. I must admit I do come here every year or so when I want to purchase new cleats, but only to try the cleats out to find out what size I need, then order online. I spose Soccer kicks is good for something then.

This soccer store is a little out of the way, but it’s the only soccer-​only store in the area that I know of, so it’s the place to go to for soccer equipment. It’s in a strip mall, but it’s right off Wilson Blvd, so it’s pretty easy to get to.
The store itself is very small and PACKED with soccer stuff, so it’s tough to move around, especially when it gets crowded. But that’s the price to pay for having lots of selection.
A friend and I went before our first soccer game, for cleats and goalie gloves, respectively. They have the best selection of goalie gloves I’ve seen in a while. Lots of different kinds in different sizes at different prices, and best of all, they had gloves in the most common sizes (7 – 9), which is a nice change from most stores, which usually have only little kids gloves and gloves for people Shaquille O’neal’s size. I got a pretty decent pair of gloves for around $ 70, which is what I expected.
For cleats, my friend was a little disappointed because they had trouble finding cleats in her size because they have less selection for women’s cleats. She ended up getting the biggest size in youth cleats, but she got pretty good cleats for 60% off, which is nice. And the staff was pretty helpful.
They also had a pretty good selection of youth equipment, so if you’re buying stuff for your kids, you may want to check it out.
The bottom line is that if you’re at least a semi-​serious soccer player, don’t bother going to Sports Authority, Dick’s Sporting Goods, or City Sports. Go to Soccer Kicks.
