The best sugar-free snowcones in DFW, bar none. This place is still open(open from Mid-March until end of October) with pretty good hours. Cash only like most snowcone stands.

This Place is really good. The ice is soft and they give you a lot of flavor and the right amount of ice. I love this place and I’m sure you will to

An Arlington staple, the Snowflake factory has, is, and will always be THE snow cone spot. From a young age, I can remember the anticipation of summer and the first snow cone of the season. Always a snowflake factory snow cone. To this day the quality and customer service is the same. Always greeted by friendly local high schoolers, it’s a family friendly joint. You can either drive up(almost always a line) or park and walk up. Beware: it is cash only but the prices are reasonable and the snow cones are delicious! They were even open today!

The line moved quickly. When I got to window they informed me that they don’t accept debit cards. Had to go home and get cash from hubby. Went back and got my snow cone. It was good. At that point I was kinda annoyed but I will go back. Just make sure and bring cash. I never carry cash so that’s going to steer me from making more frequent stops. I’m sure they lose tons of customers for not accepting cards.

I’ve been going to this sno-cone stand for quite a few years now. My grandparents live near by and when I was younger, my grandad would always take me for a treat. Now I’m almost 19& drive across town to this place whenever I need my sno-cone fix. My favorite flavors are banana and peach! The prices are fair and the people are generally nice. I think they should build one in southeast arlington!

When it’s approximately 9,000 degrees outside, you can’t seem to cool off, everything you wear sticks to you, and your hair is a hideous mess because of the humidity, the only thing you can do is brave the stifling heat of your car and go get a snow cone. Adam and I made the short drive to Snowflake Factory after browsing on Unilocal for a near and dear snow cone spot. We’re used to Bedford SnoBall which is king of the mid-cities summer treats, but not wanting to drive that far, we decided to go someplace new. Snowflake Factory didn’t disappoint, although I wasn’t absolutely in love with it either. This is a tiny little stand(as usual) and I can’t help but feel bad for the employees stuck in that tiny box with all those sticky syrups. Hopefully they get all-you-can-eat snow cones to stay cool. I’d be sitting in the ice! The location overall is not the nicest spot. it’s in a rundown strip center with a few other businesses that look like they might not stay in business for very long. At 8PM on a Sunday eve, Snowflake Factory was poppin’ with about 6 cars in line. There is no little patio or benches or tables for lounging, but you probably wouldn’t want to lounge on this concrete slab of heat anyway. Just drive on through. Cash only, so remember that, and you won’t need much. I ordered a baby-sized Coconut Kiss for $ 1 and Adam went with a medium Tiger’s Blood for $ 2. A total of $ 3 for plenty of icy deliciousness? Can’t beat that. Adam ate his whole cone in approximately ten minutes and enjoyed. I’m not necessarily a snow cone person, so I’m no expert, but I did feel like my Coconut Kiss was a bit syrup-heavy. So so so so so so nauseatingly sweet. Next time I better go with something less sweetsy and perhaps more tart. Service was friendly enough and the line did move quickly. Truly an affordable summertime dessert spot with plenty of flavors — it’d take awhile to get burnt out. I think we’ll definitely be back.

THEABSOLUTEBEST snow-cones I’ve ever had in my life. Ocean Brisk is where its at! The pickle flavor isn’t too shabby, just can’t eat a whole cup of it.

My second favorite snow cone place. Smiling faces, fluffy ice, and my favorite snow cone flavor; dreamsicle with extra cream. The sizes are smaller and more expensive than other snow cone places I’ve been to but I still don’t mind pocketing out the extra few cents. It’s worth it in my opinion.

Snowflake is hands down one of my favorite snow cone places ever! Luckily I work in the area so after a rough, hot day at work I will often head to Snowflake to have a snow cone. The line is insane in the summer but it’s totally worth the wait. The snow cones are a great mix of ice and syrup that neither overwhelms. All the employees are friendly and I just love Snowflake. Best(margarita flavored) snow cones in DFW!

The prices are good. I like really fluffy ice but at this visit is was not so fluffy. I think they need to sharpen the blade on the machine. They were very generous with the syrup so next time I’ll ask them to go a little lighter. This may not be the case for you. It’s friendly place worth stopping by to cool down with an inexpensive treat. 7−21−15 I now give them 5 stars, I’ve been through a number of times since the dull blade day and it’s been great every time. They are quick, tasty, and a solid value. I would live there during the summer if I could.

I like snowcones, but I don’t LOVE snowcones. Aren’t they are just ice and flavored syrup? Nothing special. Well, that whole attitude changed after a visit to Snowflake. Apparently, I have been slurping the wrong snowcones. I don’t know why this place is different than any other shaved ice place, but one piña colada snowcone later and I’m completed infatuated. I cannot wait until they are open again this year. I will openly admit to stalking that little stand. I need my fix! It’s also affordable and the staff is always pleasant. As far as local business in Arlington goes– and it sounds ridiculous — this is a hard one to beat in my book. It is perfect on those freaking hot 100+ degree summer days. Can you imagine anything better?

Hands down and spoons up… the best snow cone place! The dreamcicle with cream is the BOMB! They are always busy, sometimes 5 – 6 cars deep… but well worth the wait. Always have friendly people serving… great place.

Back when I lived near here, the snowflake factory commonly got my business. A hot date on a hot afternoon would include grabbing a snow cone here then walking over to the Tuesday Morning(God Rest its soul) and seeing what crap they had to offer there. There’s nothing quite like being served by disinterested/attitudinal teenage girls(see Mama’s Pizza). The offerings are your standard fare, with a few interesting(possibly dangerous?) choices like Tiger’s Blood(oooh ssssscary,) and wedding cake(i threw some in my wife’s face… she didn’t think it was funny). They do not skimp on the flavor, like some shops, so Snowflake factory I grant you 4 stars!

Oh Snowflake Factory, you’ve been at this same awkward/rundown strip center for at least 20 years. You’re still serving the same basic snow cones given to you by some Arlington High School soon-to-be-senior for around $ 1.50. Ice + sugary syrup = awesome. It is what it is. It’s not the end all/be all of snow cones but it’s ice and sugar, therefore it’s awesome and you can’t mess it up. So when it is 175 degrees out with 140% humidity in Texas and you have a few bucks worth of loose change in your car, hit up Snowflake Factory on your way home.
